I really need to say this: Why is this Drama having to follow History.......as in the exact kings in order the father then mo then yo then WS and why is YH having to be the queen...Im confused this drama is based on a Novel and is not a biography or documentary therefore why is it that it has to be exact history and not up to the writer and directors imagination.......ALSO BUT WHY IS SOMEONE FROM THE 21ST CENTURY IN A DRAMA THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE EXACT HISTORY?
I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND THE IDEA OF YH BEING QUEEN AFTER ALL THE DISGUSTING THINGS SHE HAS DONE ITS LIKE UNACCEPTABLE....I DETEST IT TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE!!!!!!!!

I have a hard time looking at BTS that have the evil characters/actors in them laughing and joking around and smiling
I know this is a Drama and they are Actors and they are playing their Characters perfectly.............
but if I hate your character like Queen Yo, and YH and prince YO.....Im sorry I cant look at your BTS and smile.

I admiring LJK since My Girl back in 2005. His character for me over shine LDW character and I like his chemistry better with LDH compared to LDW in that series. It's just that his face quite feminine to me that I found him interestingly beautiful. Thankfully, he aware of that and begin his martial art training which I found it useful because he taking up so many sageuk and boy! he knows what works for him.
Ever since My Girl, I continuously watching his drama and love most of his works specifically Arang and the Magistrate and Joseon gunman. And every time I finished watching, I have a strong post-withdrawal symptom from his drama and now I'm infected by it again. I need a cure. A.S.A.P
I agree with you I first saw him in arang and the magistrate and loved his character, looks, and acting.....so I looked for other dramas he was in and watched my girl, Iljimae, too and looked up his pics on google and I felt that he is too pretty like in an uncomfortable way so I kinda faded off from watching his drama's........then he came out with the Scholar Who Walks the Night (2015) and I fell in love with his Character again I think he is meant for Historical Melodrama Drama's they bring out the Actor/best in him (he always looks so sexy, and handsome and manly) and you fall in love with his looks and his voice and his character...So when SHR aired I was just swooning all over the place he is so sexy even the hair styles are gorgeous his voice and his character is outstanding I really cant get enough of him....I must add also I have also fallen for all the Prince's all of their characters are individual and you learn to love each one even the bad one's, I love their hair styles, their clothes I really must say I love this Drama too......I hope they make a part II.......I also have to say that all the cast has done a great job you get engrossed in each Character in the Drama with every episode, you love some, hate some, loathe some, cheer on some, cry with some that is how good the acting is by all the cast. (I didnt know anything about the novel or the Cversion) so I came into this Drama not knowing any of the details or comparison's and Im glad I didnt because it allowed me to fully enjoy this Drama all the more.

Episode 10.........Im just so heartbroken for WS I just cant stop sighing I just feel so bad for him he has had a terrible life.
starting from the time his mother scarred his face when he was a little boy (I really believe she didnt like him even when he was a child the reason she grabbed him and cut his face).......instead of feeling remorse she loathe him and threw him away so she didnt have to look at what she did and the King did nothing but complied with her wishes so he didnt have to look at his face because he didnt protect his son. You know what WS actually could be a son from a concubine (I have seen in some historical drama's the queen take the concubine child and raise as her own) That must be what happened with WS because the Queen actually hates him, verbally abuses him, and adds to his insecurities about his face/scar (remember the one scene where he asked her if it was because of his face?...the way he asked that its like he doesnt remember she is the reason his face is like that.
My heart broke when WS talked about how his life was at Shinju he was starved, beaten, neglected, abused, treated like a animal, I couldnt even fathom when he said he was thrown in a den of wolves and spent all night killing and burning them and smelling flesh burning. It was despicable how both of his parents threw him away ("adopted") and he had to live like that (him being a Prince/Royalty how could they neglect their child like that and I also remember when WS made the comment to the King when he implied that the King knew he wasnt adopted but was a hostage. Nobody wanted him in the palace aside from the CP and JM, his own brothers, mother, father all treated him like he was an animal despite them having known how that man has been treated and raised without his family. They laugh, ridicule, and treat him like a leper his family, all the people run from him like he is some mad dog, because he wears a eye patch to cover his scars.
Now after all those years he returned to live in the Palace with his brothers, mother and father and just wants love and acceptance and to belong, and for the King to allow him to stay he had to say he was a loyal subject to the CP to protect him with his life and to the King not as a son/Prince. First his mother invites him to dinner puts food on his plate to ask him to kill his brother/CP.....His brothers conspire against him with his mother and the King wants to abandon him again, throw him away.....then his sister along with his brothers, mother and clansman conspire to kill the CP and frame the woman he loves....he has to see her suffer injustice, torture, and even the threat of death. (He was going to tell the King of their conspiracy til he saw HS) so he had to drink the poison to try and save her from being framed for trying to poison the CP not knowing whether he would live or die (cause he drank 3 cups) that had to make his survival rate like 1%.
Also lets not forget his no social/people interactions.......because people and family never interacted with him.....he was a lonely person. And we are just half way thru the drama so Im sure there is more that poor man will have to endure before he start killing or be killed. Anyone can only take so much and the only person that truly loved him dies he wont have anything else to probably keep him stable.

After episode 10.......I can see why WS would want to kill his brothers (YO, WW, YH, his Mother, the Clans and the rest that conspired against him and the woman he loved its a matter of WS and HS life or theirs. If HS find out how WS brothers mother and clansmen tried to set him up to have him sent out of the palace and they set her up to be killed for poisoning the CP.
I hate the idea that WS ends up marrying YH, I really dont like her and how if she is behind the poisoning of the CP why would anyone of the Princes marry her......her motive is supposed to be because she wants WW to try to be King but we all know he is no where near close to being the King. YH is jealous of HS and cant stand her and didnt want WW to marry her and this was the perfect opportunity for her to get rid of her.

1. I think this is because of her position as a palace woman, even though she is known to be from a noble family, she would now be considered a palace woman. Palace woman were supposed to serve in the palace for their whole lives (with a few exceptions), so HS leaving her position and being allowed to marry the 4th would be a really big deal. It would be highly unlikely that the King would allow it.
(Also, even though we have seen that the 4th does have some sort of romantic feelings for HS, do you think that he has thought about marriage with HS, like the 8th has? Or, do you think he thinks of HS as a really close friend who he is starting to have feelings for?)
Yep I would after what he said after HS applied the make up and he said what he said............he got me with that I would assume he wanted to marry me and loved me yep......the man was so romantic at that moment I would have melted as did HS.

Im wondering will WS be able to be a king with a scar?.........if HS could not marry the king because she is scarred....would that also stand to reason that WS could not be a king being scarred?

I MUST REITERATE THIS AGAIN............WHY IF THE WRITERS/DIRECTORS HAVING TO BE PRECISE ON EXACT HISTORY....WHY IS HAESOO IN THIS DRAMA AS 21ST CENTURY CHARACTER WHICH WE ALL KNOW ISNT BASED ON HISTORY.........I HAVE STOPPED WATCHING THIS DRAMA SINCE EPISODE 14 BECAUSE I REFUSE TO WATCH WS MARRY YH AND I FEEL THAT IS WHERE THE DIRECTION HAS BEEN HEADING......AND AS FAR AS A PART II OF MOON LOVERS IN THE 21ST CENTURY IT WILL NOT MAKE UP FOR THE TRAGIC LOVE STORY OF WS & HS IN THIS DRAMA....SO I WILL NOT BE WATCHING THAT !!!!!!!!
