Well actually Ruoxi body was already weak and she was suffering from depression after YT/CR death. What push it was when 8th wife confronted her about what was going on and the downfall of 8th, Minghui blamed Ruoxi, if it wasn't Ruoxi who warn 8th about 4th then 8th would not take action against 4th in which caused all of these mess in the first place. It was Ruoxi warning that cause 8th to change his path to make sure 4th falls

Yep I feel like he will side whoever gives him the benefit and what he wants. He never really intended to be king cause he knows that being a king you have a whole country on your shoulder so he rather play angel and devil toward these princes so they can kill each other and he would just sit back and gather his treats. He knows if the king trusts him he can get away with everything and get what he wants so he wants to make sure he has no competition. He pushed Yo to the end of the brink cause he wants to make sure none of these brothers will come back to get him. All he does it play the blame game and point fingers at others. I'm very sure that probably in the future he will have a hand in breaking up WS and Su with YH help since his brothers are almost all gone, he needs somebody easily to manipulate to take control of and we all know that YH is jealous of HS so its easy to get her to join him,

SpoilerHe was place under house arrested and 13th deliver poison to him so he can end his life much easier but before he died RX left the note that YT left for her saying she had no regret (hinting she had no regret loving him etc) and so 9th claim RX is cruel and no wonder she's 4th woman. To get torture is nothing cause death is near but now she handed him the note which he knows has regret and guilt and cannot die peacefully
But really to compare, Won is much worst than 9th in BBJX, in BBJX he egged on 8th to do this and that and stir the pot but to be honest I feel Won is the worst one i mean they are your brothers and you want a massacre?? I mean he has no intention to become king he jus side with whoever has power and gives him the benefit. I really do hope WS sees thru it and put him in his place but then I know he will add oil or YH will add it when things bust out between HS and WW

I still suspect the thing that drives So and Soo apart is Soo and Wook's history. They really really should've come clean looong time ago.
Communication is the key for long-lasting relationship, people. Isnt that what love guru always tells us.I'm very sure HS will not be name queen since the writers are making sure they are sticking close to the history. Cause if you depose of a queen there is also records of it too. I'm guessing that YH made sure that if WS became king, she will be queen and struck a deal with WS if not she will make sure the official in court and the clans won't bow to him and accept him as king and make sure they will rebel and probably more brothers will die. We all know WS love his brothers and wont want them to suffer. With HS status she's probably cannot be granted queen not only because of the scar but because she was a court lady then demoted to a laundry maid. Its like WS father, he couldn't marry his lover cause he needed clans power in order to maintain his spot. So what do you think WS will do and what would HS do then? She probably persuade WS to marry YH even knowing it will kill her in order to help him secure his power as king.
In BBJX RX was never named as one of the kings wives not even a concubine cause of her status. All they know was she was the king's woman and nobody can touch her thats the reason why later she can leave the palace being 14th concubine since she was never given a status with 4th at all.
So my theory is that HS will be WS woman and he allowed her to stay with him like 4th allow RX to stay with him even with no status so everybody in the palace knows HS is WS woman and she has to be treated with respect like any other concubine. I believe that is when YH will grow jealous even though she's queen his focus is all on HS so she will come up with a plan to drive a wedge between them.

from the looks of the preview it looks like WS probably struck a deal with YH in order to get in the palace since she open the door and greeted him with solders probably which is to make her the queen if he wants her clans back up and not rebel making her brother king. As for why HS is in WS room, i believe when he woke up with the nightmare she was there and comfort him that she's not gonna leave his side.
if this version is adapting the cversion they won't find out
SpoilerHS is pregnant when CR gets steamed alive that's when HS passed out and the doctor congratulated the king and when he told HS she demanded to know why he's so cruel etc
So I'm guessing the writers will give us like 2 episodes of sweet moments and then the depression scenes

For the past few days I been running in my head that maybe he did kill Eun but told them to fake their death in order to leave the palace. Cause I saw a pic of SD and I'm wondering maybe they didn't die afterall since SD looks pregnant in that photo...I mean they can fake their death with the help of WS stashing them but they wore an armor underneath just plant fake blood in there to make it look real. Then when their body is suppose to be buried BA will do a swap and take them out of the palace so they can runaway from each other. I know its a very slim chance of them living but i just hope that they don't kill an innocent prince who didn't want to be involve in the fight for the throne get killed >.<

If they are following the cversion, its when WS character take the arrow for HS and when she is nursing him back to health they get more intimate you know what I mean lol.

Spoilerit is when she died due to illness which was cause by her depression. in the cversion she had a miscarriage and plus depression which isnt a good thing and her life shorten up a bit when she was doing hard labor like the water/laundry maid. She knew her time was running out so she wanted to leave the palace but she really wanted to see 4th one last time before she died but he never came. So she died in 14th arms

Lol I had to get that off my chest cause people are rallying all up against her. I'm like I get she's the female heroine but most of them aren't that bright and they don't get their head out of their butt till near the end so her stupidity probably won't clear up until WS fights to become king maybe that's when she starts putting the pieces together

I get everybody is pissed with HS for not trusting So, if you think in another pov, maybe she thought that by avoiding telling So, her premonition won't come true as in So killing both SD and Eun. She thought by avoiding him they can escape but in the end the outcome is still the same. Or maybe she thought it can spare So from having to go through killing another brother. She thought she can change history by helping them but little did she realize that no matter what she does, the outcome will still be the same and history will run its course. HS thinking is like Ruoxi she thought maybe she can change something cause she knows the outcome of the princes but in the end history still happen one way or the other.
Even if So were to save both Eun and SD would he guarantee there safety? Remember history is suppose to fall in its place. Who would say after WS saved both of them that they won't get killed by Yo later? He is making sure that Eun family gets wipe out, for sure he will make sure Eun dies cause he has no brother sympathy. you guys have to think that if So were to save them, but history cannot be change so easily without consequences if Eun and SD escape death this time, they are bound to die sooner or later
What I'm worry about is Jung who witness what is happening. Does he know it all started because Yo wanted to get rid of Eun's family? and that So had to do what he had to in order to protect HS, BA and Ji Mong the three people that he cares for the most? I have a feeling Jung will cause issues later and in the preview when King Yo grab HS wrist, Wook grab Jung and held him back while WS plead showing the coward he is >.<

Here's the other thing. Both JiMong and HS know the future. Here I go back to Taejo's warning to HS to do nothing and allow history to take its course. And HS tries to do this. But it seems her very presence in the past is enough to change it. Or is it. What about the Goryeo-HS, the one who is now taking our HS's place in the 21st Century. Had not the eclipse transported our 21st Century darling to Goryeo, is it not possible that So would have fallen for Soo anyway. But JiMong and HS know the future, remember, so they know that the king after Moo will be So. History is changed not because of their actions but because of their in-actions, or rather, because JiMong stops So from killing Yoo.
At present, we now have a situation where the actual history has been changed because Yoo is now king after Moo and before So. This attempt to keep to the history has actually resulted in a situation where the writer has given us an alternative history where someone who never was King becomes King.
Now, I think I read somewhere this is one of the first dramas made with Hollywood investors and that, obviously, is because of the popularity of the genre. I think the beauty of the first half of this drama had something to do with that fact that the drama was written to appeal to a broader-than-Korean audience so it doesn't really matter what the Korean rating numbers are. But to hold the entire story together for the international audience, the pieces have to fit together in the story. Beauty, romance, intrigue are all fine and good but if the package doesn't make sense, your international audiences are going to be frustrated and you may lose that viewership. For instance, my mother sent me my first drama, Winter Sonata, while I was living in Rome. I shared it with my colleagues. Everyone loved it. Until the scene where Yujin leaves the ticket to New York on the airport bench and flies off to Paris to study advanced Interior design. At that scene, everyone lost it. The thinking was, the love of your life is facing death or blindness and rather than go to him, you go off to study wallpaper and upholstery... For all of us, the entire drama was nonsense just because of that one scene. Now, perhaps it makes sense to Asians, and something gets lost in the translation but a drama designed to appeal to broader-than-Korean audiences should take those sensibilities into consideration.

Actually it is going to what is written in real history that after King Mu, Yo becomes king and reign for about 4 years and then So becomes king. When So became king, the kingdom Goryeo was unstable so he had to do alot in order to balance it. So basically what HS presence is doing it making sure history is suppose to fall in its course. Though King Taejo told HS to not get involve but watch little did he know that history is suppose to happen because HS was the first domino to fall and everything begin to fall into place as history was recorded
The only thing the writers added in to make it more exciting and dramatic is that the brothers are indeed killing each other and pinned against each other. In history records, there wasn't much indication of it happening but there was indeed a struggle in politics among brothers, it wasn't bloody as the drama was heading toward but there is no change in history everything is falling into its place

If im not mistaken, it will be 8th that destroy it when HS returns it to him. WS does not know about the bracelet at all. So I'm thinking HS will give it back to him probably today episode or next week after realizing he was involve in CP murder. He claims its for HS but really it was his greed toward the throne.

Spoilerit was given back to 8th after they broke up. 14th handed it back to 8th and when 8th look at it saying "so you chose 4th afterall" and he smash it.
In the trailer, the bracelet was being smashed probably by 8th when HS returns it to him and he figured that she finally accepted WS

SpoilerRuoxi received the letter after CR character got steamed. A eunuch/servant handed Ruoxi the letter secretly and it said on there "please protect my family. I know my time is up. I always wanted to explain myself to you but I have no chance to clear it up to you but now it seem pointless to say anything. I am a foolish person. I have no regrets and no complaints. Please don't be sad"
CR character will know it is coming to her and she isn't illiterate as she said she was cause 9th taught her how to read and write that's when Ruoxi asked herself what else are you hiding from me. Ruoxi said Yu Tan was a chess piece for both 9th and 4th. 4th left her behind cause its easier to keep your enemy closer and for him to see what the other side is doing but in the end, she was sacrifice.
At the end, 13th threw the bloody letter toward 9th who was in imprison with poision and when 9th read the phrase "I have no regrets and no complaints" and asked why is it not hate? (So basically CR character never regretted spying for 9th and loving him) He said before he died that Ruoxi you deserve to be 4th women, she was more cruel than 4th was because 4th can torture their body and in order to escape that one can die but what Ruo Xi did he won't die in peace due to the guilt and sadness
I'm not sure if the bloody letter will have the same stuff as the cversion but probably it will be similar

Nevertheless, I enjoyed all their interactions today.
I think what she meant by that is that don't forget that you actually love someone and that person is me. I think she's still a bit startled that he actually said those 3 words. The lone wolf said the 3 words that no men said to her before. So she wanted to make sure that later in the future if something were to happen, that he did loved some one and actually has feelings

It was actually 8th that volunteer to tell 4th everything in order for him to let Ruoxi go. 8th knew with 4th personality he would try to find a way to keep Ruoxi so 8th decided since he has nothing left beside death to help Ruoxi so he told 4th everything that happen between him and Ruoxi from kisses, to hugs to promising this and that and 4th was angry to hear it from 8th about their relationship. Ruoxi really never intended for 4th to know about it

Both 4th and 13th figured who was the spy so 4th wanted to send a message. Ruoxi character promise her friend/sister that she will try to protect her but it failed

Yes that is what he meant. Wook calls WS a dog cause to degrade him and also now Yo is holding WS by his leash due to having HS as a hostage and WS has to listen to Yo in order to keep HS safe. But little did he will know that the tighter you hold the dog, the dog will bite back harder.
I really do hope that HS sees that it was all Wook's doing and give him a slap and tell him she regret even liking him

Lol but there is 6 more episodes and its too early for Yo to die! He just came back to life so I'm pretty sure he's gonna die next week like what they did to Mu. He gets to be king for one episodes plus Yo is one of the main antagonist so he probably gets to be king for 2 episodes lol. plus I sort of want a bit more of HS and WS cause in the cversion they get to spend a few episodes together
Spoilerdon't forget if they suppose to be a bit like BBJX she's suppose to get pregnant and lost it and then leave with Jung in which ends her life.

Actually they weren't rival at all. 4th wanted to live a peaceful life and not get involve in the fight for the throne. 8th aim was mostly toward the crown prince. but after Ruoxi warning about 4th thats when he change his mind and take out 4th cause he now sees 4th in a different view. From the beginning they were not rivals at all. 4th wanted just to lay low and live a calm simple life but 8th attacked him which caused 13th to take the blame for him in which then change 4th mind in wanting the throne. At that time 4th was trying to make sure the balance wasn't stir in the politics cause the king was not there and 9th of course want to stir some trouble to get the crown prince in trouble. Also remember 14th left his position to go visit 8th which is punishment, 4th rather be the bad guy and not throw 14th out so really he didnt want his brothers to get in trouble.
