  2. *sigh* I'm not sure that i want to read the novel (at least before watching the series) but i hate to be less informed about the plot than others.
  3. @nyzah13 : agree..only upon rewatching then i pick out such nuances too
  4. 918 @triplem lol at collecting shampoo, sewing kit, slippers from hotel They knew we always do these ah... lol.
  5. Omo, I tolerated her by giving her the excuse that it was not her fault that she lost the map of Sand Valley but now I’m hating her for I don’t find Yi Qing unlikeable one bit. He’s my favorite character in this by far. He’s intelligent, practical, decisive and a great fighter. All his scenes interest me unlike the scenes at the Moon Sect though they’re a necessary part of the story. As to the elder brother, I can’t wait for him to find out the truth. The Moon Sect girl has it coming to her in spades. How dare she even keep him by her side? I hope he doesn’t let me down by feeling torn about her. He seemed to be affected by her even after he learned that she was behind the invasion of Sand Valley and his master was already dead. I would have killed her on the spot. What bargaining chip? Please. Since he brought her into the valley he should have killed her even if it meant sacrificing himself. I don’t believe in revenge but since these characters do, why didn’t he just avenge his master right there?
  6. There are 2 scenes in the video below which we haven't seen. 1) 7:20 - it looks like they are in a hospital room and Gal Hee has a broken arm and 2) 8:02 - evening outdoor shoot. In both scenes, Gal Hee was not wearing her red cardigan.
  7. i skipped most of the epi in the middle and just came back again to watch the last 2 epi.. i must admit Suh Dong Hyun acting is really impressive! he is able to grasp so many emotions thrown right into this Joon Seok character! what Da Hee confessed to him really sent him hell down to reality.. Nam Da Reum on the other hand, has Seon Ho in a more soft and subtle character.. its like, boys in their puberty age where some are going rebellious (Joon Seok) while some remain nice and sensible (Seon Ho) the ending where it was revealed the book is not a diary but a collection of poems.. i was really touched at that.. (i need a son like this!)
  8. Kim Bo Ra received a coffee truck from Akdong Musician’s Lee Soo Hyun and actress Kim Sae Ron on the set of tvN’s “Her Private Life.” On May 24, Kim Bo Ra posted on her Instagram account several pictures of her next to the coffee truck along with the caption, “That’s why you wanted to send […] The post Kim Bo Ra Receives Loving Yet Funny Support From Akdong Musician’s Lee Soo Hyun And Kim Sae Ron appeared first on Soompi View the full article
  9. What she meant was, thank you for the fans whose always with her and for her. She misses her fans in China and look forward to seeing them real soon
  10. Yes, BTS is usually way better, and I would normally watch BTS of kiss scenes many times. But I don't know why, just not in the mood to watch them being lovey dovey, am being too possessive of my lion... If you watch Devilish Joy, there were lots of hot kisses as well, and I enjoyed watching them a lot even though it's another one of my favorite oppa too... @Sejabin will understand me the best why I can't watch now... maybe later when I'm more up to it.... I said before, that PMY is not suffering now, but she will suffer more after the drama finished shooting... unless........... I think the Park-Park shippers are the one bothered the most... Any Park-Park shippers here? I was still hoping to see more of them doing couple stuff... too little and too short.... Thanks for the recom, will try check those out... It's still okay for me so far... It's a mystery genre, so I'm still anticipating the reveals. It didn't turn out as good as I expected, but I have no complaint about it yet, except for the buying fake pregnancy kit thing... That was too convenient, I agree. 916
  11. so far PSJ is being the man who keeps her photo on ig and deleted the past posts. I stand for loyal guy.
  12. this is actually what their counting on! lol! So... what now? whos it gonna be? all her previous leading men (EXCEPT PSJ) are not on her IG and they all have shipper forums with her... oh well, they can just settle that on their own.. coz we're good here!
  13. I think that GS should be kept as someone who has yet to realise that both he and JI has fallen into that comfortable phase in a relationship where you drift along to the logic of marriage (since you have been together x years). I also agree that his characterisation should be one who may become bewildered about the turn of events in his life and no unnecessary third/fourth party needs to be involved. People will wonder 'He's such a great person, how could this happen to him?' and the truth is that we never know why we drift away from a person we thought we love. What is love in the first place? I don't see JH and JI having a grand passionate love but it's two people who suddenly found each other and their hearts clicked in place.
  14. I really like the characters' posters, thank you @kimino for posting them here. Does someone know the meaning of the throne with the three bears in Ta Gon's poster ? And what kind of animal represent the satues in Tae Al Ha's poster ? Is there a meaning here too ?
  15. LOL! I saw this too.. I also read something like "PMY will never post her bf publicly... do you see KJW on her IG?" Soo... what they're saying is.. two people who met like 3 months ago, who have shown so.much chemistry on their drama, whos on the right age of getting married.. should just go do it!? I mean why wait right?? they are "obviously" sooo in love!
  16. Something's happening here Squishy Kwon Joo I really liked this scene. The cinematography is on point, especially in the darker scenes.
  17. She went to his house on her own initiative because she was worried he is sick since he hasn't been replying to her messages. I agree it can be criminal when made a report to the police. But in Da Hee's case, she didn't make the accusation to the police, how can she be charged with false accusation then? I haven't watched with subs, but it seems that SH was led to believe JS did it to her, while she was just crying and never out-rightly said JS assaulted her. SH made that assumption. I'm not sure about how her parents came to assumption that SH was the one who did it. Don't think it was ever mentioned. I am not saying what DH did was justified but given the circumstances, her fear and being threatened, I can understand why she just let the lie be, and not bother to correct it, because I guess then she would have to come up with another name. Also agreeing that her lying can be used by the lawyers to weaken her lawsuit, just like the defense by OJP to Detective, that she's just lying. But since that was not the focus of the drama, we were spared of the legal processing.
  18. Forgive them , There mind lost with lion , every time they see his gorgeous face they quoted the picture not thinking of you @cenching & @Lawyerh why no one answering my insightful question at lion thread , I am doing science research -2
  19. omg! yess! but i think I mentioned this before, most HPL shippers were Healer shippers. lol! I think they see some familiarities? thats why the feelings are back.. lol!
  20. what can i say lol~~ ‘delusional’ is shippers middle name and we all are delusional at some point so i can somehow relate to them..lol
  21. May 26, 2019 Bong Joon-ho's 'Parasite' wins Palme d'Or at Cannes CANNES, France, May 25 (Yonhap) -- South Korean director Bong Joon-ho grabbed the highest honor at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival on Saturday for his black comedy movie "Parasite." Bong became the first South Korean director to win the Palme d'Or at Cannes. Before him, Park Chan-wook was awarded the Grand Prix, the second-highest prize at the festival, for his thriller "Old Boy" in 2004. His achievement marks the sixth time that a Korean film has received one of the main competition awards at the Cannes Film Festival. Im Kwon-taek took the best director award for "Chihwaseon" in 2002, Park Chan-wook earned one twice with "Old Boy" (2004) and "Thirst" (2009) and Lee Chang-dong picked up the best screenplay award with "Poetry" in 2010. Jeon Do-yeon won the best actress award for "Secret Sunshine" in 2007. "Parasite" finished first in a fierce competition against big-name candidates and Cannes laureates like "Pain and Glory" by Spanish director Pedro Almodovar and "Young Ahmed" by the Belgian filmmaking brothers Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne. When his name was called at the very end of the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival, Bong shouted with joy and hugged his colleagues. "I didn't prepare a speech in French, but I'm inspired a lot by French movies," he told the audience via a French-speaking interpreter at the awards ceremony. "'Parasite' was an amazing adventure for me." He thanked his staff and cast for their dedication and contribution to completing the masterpiece. "When I was 12 years old, I decided to become a film director," he said. "I'd never imagined the day that I touch this trophy." "Parasite", Bong's seventh feature film, revolves around the poor family of Ki-taek who live in a squalid, grubby basement. They become involved in a string of mishaps after the sly son gets a job as a tutor for a moneyed family residing in an opulent, gaudy mansion. Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, the president of the jury, said it was a unanimous decision on "Parasite." "The film is such a unique experience; it's an unexpected film," the Mexican director said in a press conference after the closing ceremony. He stressed that the jury did not take into account the fact that Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda won it last year for "Shoplifters." Some had expected Cannes to hesitate in granting the grand prize to Asian directors two years in a row. "The cinema had to speak for itself," Inarritu said, adding that the jury had no political agenda or message. The Grand Prix went to "Atlantics" by Mati Diop, and the Jury Prize, the third-best honor, was granted to "Bacurau" by Kleber Mendonca Filho and Juliano Dornelles and "Les Miserables" by Ladj Ly. The best director award was given to Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne for "Young Ahmed," while Antonio Banderas and Emily Beecham took the best actor and actress awards for their performance in "Pain and Glory" and "Little Joe," respectively. brk@yna.co.kr
