    Watch: Jang Ki Yong And Claudia Kim's Supernatural Family Startles Chun Woo Hee In "The Atypical Family" Teaser JTBC has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming drama “The Atypical Family”! “The Atypical Family” is a fantasy romance drama about a family that once had supernatural powers, but lost them after suffering from realistic modern-day problems. Jang Ki Yong will star as Bok Gwi Joo, who once had the ability to time-travel to a moment when he was happy. However, after becoming depressed due to a devastating accident, no moment in his life is happy anymore—and so Bok Gwi Joo loses both his happiness and his special power to travel to the past. In the newly released teaser, Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) seeks out the Bok family with a basket of flowers. But in contrast to Bok Man Heum (Go Doo Shim)’s warm welcome, Bok Gwi Joo acts aloof and unhappy to see her. Bok Dong Hee (Claudia Kim) then cryptically reveals, “Our family wasn’t originally like this. We wound up like this because each of us is broken.” Do Da Hae then begins to explore the secrets of the Bok family and their superpowers: Bok Man Heum can see the future through her dreams, Bok Dong Hee can fly, and Bok Gwi Joo can travel to the past. Only Bok Yi Na doesn’t seem to have any superpowers, but there is something secretive about the young girl that leads Do Da Hae to keep an eye on her. Meanwhile, Bok Yi Na seems surprised that their new guest is still around, asking, “She still hasn’t run away?” Bok Man Heum declares, “There’s no doubt.     Ji Sung, Jeon Mi Do, And More Impress At Script Reading For Upcoming Drama "Connection" SBS’s upcoming drama “Connection” has shared photos from its script reading! “Connection” is a new crime thriller starring Ji Sung as Jang Jae Kyung, a well-respected detective who is the ace of the narcotics unit. Jeon Mi Do will star as Oh Yoon Jin, an opinionated and outspoken reporter who works at a newspaper. The drama is a collaboration between director Lee Tae Gon and writer Lee Hyun, who previously worked together for JTBC’s “Diary of a Prosecutor.” Ji Sung plays detective Jang Jae Kyung, the leader of the narcotics team at Anhyun Police Station, who is respected by his juniors and trusted by his seniors within the police force. Ji Sung exuded a charismatic aura in scenes where his character dealt with criminals, but in scenes depicting drug addiction, he delivered a chilling performance by depicting complex emotions and erratic breathing. Jeon Mi Do displayed strong presence while in character as Oh Yoon Jin, a reporter in the social affairs department of Anhyun Economic Daily. During the script reading, Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do created an exciting atmosphere with their performances, raising anticipation for their acting chemistry.

    *** I re-watched his latest drama "Han River Police". When I first heard about this series, I knew I had to add it to my watch list because Kwon Sang Woo is on it. However, after watching all six episodes, I am quite disappointed with the overall execution of the drama. Overall, I enjoyed the show to some extent, and I must give credit to Lee Sang Yi, who played a villain role here. Despite my criticism of this series, if you are a fan of Kwon Sang Woo, check this one out! The series starts on a high note; masked terrorists are hijacking a peaceful cruise along the river, holding its occupants hostage. Aside from the case-per-episode format, there’s also an overarching antagonist that tries to use the Han River as a means for his illicit activities. I love it because it’s a short series. The simplicity of the plot works well for the six episodes available, without becoming rushed in the finale. The criminal plot is not overly complicated and the twists are not overly tiring.

    I'm leaning to the idea that the people who live in that house are not necessarily blood related (outside of the Kang duo). U-ri and Doo-ri both have "Chae" as their family name, same as their adoptive mother. It's possible they were both adopted independently, and the two aren't blood siblings.

    I have checked a few shows @kboramint if it's the SML in Heaven's Promise he is Seo Jung Ho. He was the same cheating BF who went for the rich woman and dumped his unregistered wife in Tears of Heaven. In Apple of my eye, he was a very decent guy. The FL is Ms Otoke in MIAV. I am going to wait for a few episodes before watching. It might degenerate like my two sisters.😁
