  2. Typically korean rom-com drama. It always be more comedic on first half and turn to be more dramatic/romantic on second half.. At least, up to now, we are not disappointed with the story. Hopefully, more lovey-dovey scene on the last two episode The bed scene can be shown on next episode, remember their first kiss scene This week story focus on RG childhood trauma healing. And still going to revealed lost memory of their childhood on the next episode. Also Cindy's problem with her mom. I think marriage is not possible. Not enough episode to build the emotion. It will be better if writer-nim wrap up the drama with exhibition or RG being a painter again. If my memory is right, we never know RG's painting. I just want to know his painting, how can he take 'a genius painter' title. Having PMY's potrait on exhibition can be a great idea
  3. I have yet to watch a subbed episode 13... and episode 14 comes out as this ..... how??????? the clips killed me! omygod! Need subbed versions asap! but but but... they both said I love you’s my heart is full!
  4. @nohamahamoud2002 No need to apologize chingu. This is a drama and everyone is entitled to their opinions. You don't need to feel like you offended us all lol.
  5. Thankyou I agree with you. As fans we can only offer our well wishes/ support and can merely express our opinions on different online portals. Choosing or not choosing something to do is entirely up to him, we, unfortunately, cant do anything about it ( cuz we arent Koreans anyway so our opinions dont matter much or are merely secondary to Koreans ) but yes if he keeps on disappointing his fans especially the native Koreans then it would be a problem for sure. I am not against his hobbies, as long as he remains within safe limits. I see no harm in bit of an adrenaline rush. Same goes for his choices. He should do everything within safe limits. Any more drawbacks might not be good for his career. He went ahead, enjoyed doing what he wanted, now I think he should separate his personal opinions and professional life a bit and see what works best for his career rather than choosing everything emotionally. Ofcourse I would never want anything which is too hard for him emotionally/ physically, but like I said everything can be done within safe limits. I dont want him to completely sideline his interests or emotions, all I ask is for him to be a bit more practical about his career choices. I hope that made any sense lol. I was also happy when I heard he left his last agency but I wasnt too over the moon when I saw he joined this one cuz when I saw the actors associated with this agency...they seemed to be on ...I dunno too many breaks/ hiatuses so I was a bit worried about him but yeah I still hoped that the agency would treat him as their prized posession or something and might get better projects for him than the previous ones. I never hoped for him to do any reality show, he was too into other hobbies at that time? I dunno I just had a feeling he wouldnt do it anytime soon and it turned out to be true, he didnt do it. I also think this is his choice not BS'. Now we can only hope for some miracle to happen otherwise this project seems almost confirmed, doesnt looks very good and yes again I am not very happy about it.
  6. Hi guys i am here too. Did you hear this song? I saw to Kookmin clan account of youtube. I think, he sang this song for a special girl As if the words were written for both https://youtu.be/_snGxeqz
  7. This is exactly why korean fans are going crazy and emailing bs company everyday to prevent this from happening. This will ruin his image too much
  8. Oh Thank you sweetie! You did a wonderful work: your nice words made my day way better! What i was thinking: i needed wings of course to succeed! I should find myself a nice angel who will rent me a pair!
  9. I always find someone left handed more attractive. So, left handed (even better when he is good with both hands) + looks like Kim Jae Wook = Him painting on left hand is a plus plus plus plus point for me. Even watching him eating with chopstick or spoon on left hand makes me I don’t know about the “ideal type” of someone’s body in K-drama, but I think he looks more “meatier(?)” here rather than when he played as Mo Tae Goo (I only watched him as MTG so can’t compare to other role). As MTG, I think he has sharper face than as RG. Here in HPL, I think he looks a bit bigger than MTG although not like Eun Gi size KJW body type just makes him looks good in every outfit he’s wearing. I remember when I saw him in that black shirt and black pants at Si An house after he gave Deok Mi his jacket, he looks super good and I was drooling about that.
  10. this was really solid drama. I really liked it. SOmehow this is really different from thriller dramas I usually watch. But still I wasn't bored or fastforwarded any scenes. ANd the cast was really stellar.
  11. RYAN IS GOLD! i'm speechless. KJW and PMY chemistry ALWAYS make my heart flutter. for me, so far in half year 2019 they're the best couple indeed. their acting its so damn good. so much thank you to whoever cast them as pairing. they really make this drama so much worth to wait every week. can't believe next week already ended. I hope the ending will be a good one.
  12. Thank you so much for clarifying. I just started shaking a little, though. I am far from puritanical, but if the script is anything close to the original character, this sounds like a disasterous career move for YSH. A main character who demeans women isn't someone I want to see at all---I don't care how redeemed he is eventually. Or how "sexy" people find this sort of character. Forgive me, but I have always expected better of YSH. Bed scenes? The context matters in a script. I don't mind bed scenes if the characterization and script are well done, but everything about this tells me nothing will be done right. The character you're describing sounds like a playboy, and fans are excited about fanservice? Gratuitous sexy stuff? No, just no. Forgive me, really, Yoo Seung-ho. This isn't how to show that you're grown-up.
  13. It's good to see you here @bebebisous33! Your analysis are as always on point and stimulating but i doubt this drama has enough "meat" to keep up the pace with your deduction skills. You have already resolved the mystery which is supposed to sustain us all season! I shouldn't be here: SO MANY spoilers! And i wanted to write first a review for episodes 1-2. But now i fell in hell (or is it paradise?) with those stunning gifs of our white angel protecting our wicked dark ballerina with his wings! Damn those eyes contacts! The chemistry It's suddenly very hot in this thread! And in the previewr for next week: he's already trying to kiss her! Well that escalated quickly! Taking the exit issue until i decide if i need a cold shower after all this passion or if i should rather come back with my beating gif (why so impatient, pretty angel?)....
  14. If KJW is ambidextrous, he's so perfect in his own way and a big yes sexy!! Not everyone has this ability to use both hands. But the way he uses his left is way much sexier. And also the scene when he tried to paint again, he uses his left hand again. I need put on my detective eyes for KJW right now.
  15. Source: Mrs. Eugene Choi @KdramaAddict14 Just finished watching #HarmoniumInMyMemory story is fresh & simple #JeonDoYeon & #LeeByungHun were very cute even they were at late 20s when this was shot. It will remind u of your teacher crush. Highly recommended.
  16. Wookie's preview from the channel A fishing show is out and he looks so cute: I can't wait for the show. I hope hyunnie is doing well too.
  17. I think that KJW is on the leaner side. He is well toned and all that, but maybe, his body type (actually I prefer leaner, well toned men vs men with big muscles, e.g. Eun Gi) is not the ideal type to show on screen in K dramas?
  18. Ok I'm definitely going to watch this one . MY favourite - ❤Joe cheng (CP5 , Legend of heavenly tears phoenix warrior ) ❤Zhang Ming En (Tomb of the sea / Sand sea) ❤Xiao Yan (The legends, Legend of white snake ) Praying for subs
  19. The guy is so straightforward towards the girl. I love how he knows what he wants from the get-go. THAT'S HOT!!
  20. lol! I am storing my driftwood, pipes, and fertilizers, anti algae etc in it! Spices for the aquarium! 764
  21. May 23, 2019 Parasite is met with praise at Cannes Source: The DONG-A Ilbo A standing ovation continued for seven minutes at the Lumiere Theatre in Cannes, France that was filled with some 2,000 viewers. Korean director Bong Jun-ho’s movie “Parasite,” which was selected for the 72nd Cannes International Film Festival and aired on 10 p.m. on Tuesday (local time), won rapturous applause from the audience. Leading media, such as Guardian and Variety, reported that when the ending credit appeared and the lights came on, the audience erupted with applause. When the applause continued, Bong spoke into a microphone to say “Thank you everyone. Let’s go home” in both Korean and English, but the applause went on. “Parasite” is Bong’s seventh movie. A wealthy family lives on a house made of marble on a hill, while a poor family lives in a basement infested with bugs. Bong reveals the gap between the rich and the poor by displaying a stark contrast of the two families. The two families become involved as the eldest son Ki-woo (played by Choi Woo-sik) of Ki-taek (Song Kang-ho), whose entire family is jobless, is interviewed by Park (Lee Sun-gyun) for a high-paying personal tutor position. In a press conference held last month after the movie was invited to the Cannes Festival, Bong said that “Non-Koreans might not be 100 percent familiar with the details,” but it appears that the message came across. BBC chose “Parasite” as the first must-see movie for the “Top 10 films not to be missed at Cannes.” After the movie was aired, foreign media responded with praise. Guardian gave four stars out of five, praising the movie as “Parasite is a bizarre black comedy about social status, aspiration, materialism and the patriarchal family unit. Parasite gets its tendrils into you.” The Telegraph also gave it four stars saying that “Parasite, a raucous and blood-splattered social satire, will torment you.” Parasite is generally gripping and finely crafted, standing up well as Bong’s most mature state-of-the-nation statement since Memories of Murder in 2003.” Indiewire commented that “under the pall of late capitalism, Bong’s latest offers another compassionate parable that is giddy, brilliant and contrasting. Bong Joon-ho has become a genre unto himself.” On the other hand, director Bong introduced a letter asking him to refrain from spoilers in Korean, English and French through the materials distributed to the media gathered in the Cannes prior to the screening. He said in a letter, "Nowadays, audiences are waiting for the release of anticipated films, and they are moving away from the usual favorite movie sites, and in many theater lounges, people use headsets to increase the volume of their music," said the audience. It is said that the creators are eager to fall into the movies with emotions. " Seo-Hyun Lee baltika7@donga.com
  22. @kimdaehwi, from the preview it looks like OSH's Dad eye surgery did not work and he may really get NJ's cornea. I think Chairman Park will help AR by lending her money to pay Gold Asset. NJ/OHY will be released and AR will find out about NJ illness. At least the jewelries are in the Park's household. Wondering who will discover it? Do Ri/Ester? OSH/PSH? we know that PSH's Dad and Gun saw it and set aside without knowing the value of these items their reactions when Gun dropped it on the floor.
