  3. @backstreetboysfan Hmmm..... I watched him in "Come and Hug Me" and I find him good there, at the same time he looks so very good. So, this is his upcoming drama, huh? I noticed this series has started down the promo trail, releasing teasers and stills. Watching the video and looking at those stills, it feels like this will be an interesting watch. That trailer make me want to look forward to this show. Personally, I’m still hung up on the superpowered storyline of Moving, - hahaha - so this seems like the perfect drama to fill that Jo In-sung-shaped hole in my heart! Can't wait for this drama to premiere on May 4 on JTBC. I also read that the drama will be available on Disney+, too. Good, that the access is so much wider.

The rise of streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime Video has also made it possible for viewers to access some of the highest-rated Korean television series. If you were intrigued by "Squid Game" and "The Glory" (some of the most-watched Korean from previous years) and are looking for more addictive shows to watch in the first half of 2024, add these K-dramas to your list. "Queen of Tears" Most people love romantic stories where a rich guy meets a not-so-wealthy girl from a humble background, and they fall in love. Well, it's the opposite in this Korean series because it's the girl who is rich and working hard to ensure her company joins the 1 trillion in sales category. The main cast/rich girl is Hae-in, who pretends to be an intern and falls for a lawyer in the same company. When her true bank account status is revealed, the duo is already in love, and they decide to marry. The lovebirds soon drift apart and sleep in separate rooms. Hae-in also becomes poor and then finds out she only has three months to live, and her husband wants to divorce her. Will their love be able to bloom again even after her rich ex-boyfriend suddenly appears and promises to make Hae-in's troubles disappear? You can watch this series on Netflix, as episodes are released every weekend. But it's not a must you watch this K-drama using a television. 12. ‘Queen of Tears’ Breaks Viewership Record Set by ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’ tvN weekend drama Queen of Tears has shattered its own viewership records by crossing the 20% mark, achieving a new high of 20.7% nationally, according to Nielsen Korea. This represents a significant increase from its previous episode, which scored 16.8%. The series has now surpassed the popular Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (20.5%) to become the second-highest-rated show in tvN’s history. With only four episodes left in its 16-episode run, there is anticipation that it might even exceed the viewership of writer Park Ji Eun’s previous hit, Crash Landing on You (21.7%), starring Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, setting a new benchmark for tvN dramas. The drama tells the love story of a married couple, Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), who navigate through personal crises to foster a miraculous love. In the latest episode, Hyun Woo’s second proposal was heartbreakingly rejected by Hae In, whose health has deteriorated to the point where she can hardly recognize her own husband. The episode also featured dramatic turns, including the demise of Hae In’s grandfather, Hong Man Dae (Kim Kap Soo), the chairman of Queens Group. Despite regaining his faculties, he chose to end his life to drive away his live-in partner, Mo Seol Hee (Lee Mi Sook). This twist led to the Queens family returning to their home, where they stumbled upon clues hinting at hidden funds. source : https://www.newsis.com/view/?id=NISX20240415_0002699030&cID=10601&pID=10600

  16. Yi-Chul is a nasty guy, but damn if he isn't right about some of the stuff he said to Hye-Won in today's episode! He became a director on YJ's board. He also has a brain tumor (glioblastoma) with about a year left to live. He's decided to live as a monster (instead of atoning for his sins... but okay... dailies are nonsensical as usual.) At the end of today's episode, he also decided to marry Hye-Ji... oh boy... I do like her new hairstyle, though. Hye-Won, of course, is fighting back. In the preview Yong-Ki was taken somewhere. I wonder who will die next? Since Hye-Won continues to go dark (most likely), will she end up killing someone next?
