[News] YG Entertainment to hold open audition in 6 years

YG Entertainment opens an online audition site (http://www.yg-audition.com/) on 18th May to scout for the next generation of pop culture.

YG Entertainment is known debuting some of the top artistes in Kpop including Jinusean, Se7en, Gummy, and also top idol groups Big Bang and 2NE1. However it is known that there has not been a singer who debut through the company’s open audition. The company previously held an open audition for the first time 6 years ago, and their stand was, “YG is a place where it is harder to become a trainee than a singer.”

Still, it is good news for aspiring singers with YG holding an open audition in 6 years. The audition will scout for talent in 3 fields – singing, acting and producing and will be held from 18th May till 22nd June in Korea and the States simultaneously.

The first window of online audition:

Korea – 18th Jul

LA – 3rd Jul

New York – 10th Jul

Those who pass the auditions, will undergo training as a trainee in the company and given the chance to fulfill their dream.

A YG Ent rep said, “We look forward to having new talents join the YG family. If one is able to show one’s charms to the fullest, one will be able to achieve good results.”

YG is so picky, but most of his artists that goes through, and becomes a trainee are VERY talented, so it's also a good thing that YG is picky.

Gosh, too bad I'm not talented, just a dream i will always dream about.

Should be interesting, they don't really have a lot of trainee like other companies. Good luck to those who try out.

Hey YG Family Fans, this is Tazanya, one of the admins from YGLadies.com (an international forum for 2NE1).  As most of you know, the leader of YGE, the big boss aka Mr. Yang Hyun Suk/Yang Goon, will be welcoming a new bundle of joy to his "YG Family."  We are hosting a project dedicated to YG's first child, called "It's a YG Baby," and would love the participation of all YG fans, not just blackjacks.  One of our goals is to connect with as many international YG-related fans to contribute messages for a message book to Mr. YG, his fiance [Eun Joo from Swi.T], and unborn child.  

The messagebook is our main gift. YGL will be designing and purchasing the message book, all we need from you are kind words of support to the new family.  Just PM me your message using the format below and I will make sure it gets into the messagebook.  This project is about showing international love for YG not promoting any one forum or fansite.  We are not requiring that you join YGLadies or anything like that.  This truly is just about congratulating Mr. YG and spreading the YG Family love.

I love the female rapper Legacy I think her name is, I love the hot YG men going buckwild...I love the fact that though its an OST vid there is not that much of the movie its mostly the YG peeps... YGE representative Yang HyunSeok becomes a father of a healthy baby girl with Lee EunJoo on 5th Aug

YG Entertainment representative Yang HyunSeok is known to have become a father of a healthy baby girl weighing 2.78kg at birth at 2.01pm on 5th August.

This is before his marriage with lover Lee EunJoo. It has been relayed that Yang HyunSeok is really excited about welcoming the baby and is staying by Lee EunJoo’s side.

Known to have been working out often and manages her body well, it took her just 10 minutes in labour before the baby was delivered. Both the mother and the baby are in healthy state.

Yang HyunSeok relayed through a YG representative, “It still doesn’t feel like real. I will work hard to raise the baby. Really thankful to those who sent their well wishes.”
