@Reyko Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! It was so cute though, portrayed in a very sweet way. I was indeed surprised by how explicit the make-out scene was but it was also so realistic. You could feel the attraction and we've all been there! A very honest gay portrayal, very forward and normal. It was to show that gay relations are exactly like those of straight people.

But, I won't lie, I also wanted to join  Well you know... two hot guys making out...

Sthg totally unrelated so in spoiler space below:

Spoiler

I found it very interesting how for ex, in Japan, gay ecchi mangas (ecchi is soft porn), are usually targeted for female audiences as well as gay audiences. Here, we might be influenced by our current perception of LJH, but I could totally see how their interaction would draw female viewers in as well... Like I said, it was just the emotions, the silly and young love that got me.

Ki Dong is the one richard simmons So Joon on over. There is hidden jealousy and resentment there (Ki Dong did give up his own studies and everything to be So Joon's right hand man). Boy is tired of being seen as second best, just So Joon's errand boy, lack of appreciation and respect (when he does so much that allows So Joon to time travel and be a sexy playful CEO). The office workers, frenemy' husband, the best friend (who I think he liked and low and behold, she wants Se Joon), and the little I know of ep 6, his mom. Also the conversation with his mom makes it seem as if he's strapped for money (or his family is) and if So Joon were to richard simmons up his life, that greatly richard simmons up Ki Dong's, Se Young, her dad, Happiness, and a whole bunch of others lives. Ki Dong is "et tu Brutus?" He the only one who knows So Joon time travels. Desperation (coupled with resentment and not feeling valued or like you measure up and a touch of greed) can make even the most seemingly loyal turn astray. I thought it was suspect that in the future when So Joon calls he doesn't answer. Ki Dong teams up with frenemy and they somehow may have something to do with So Joon leaving Ma Rin and "disappearing".

ETA: @carolinedl girl I KNOW! Like why is he going to his apartment and not his house? What is going on at his house? Is Ma Rin living there waiting for his return? Is it abandoned as well? How does ahjussi know about the apartment!?!?!  (cause he's So Joon ) Why isn't Ki Dong (the betrayer) living there!?!?!! I hate this show (as in I hate how much I love and it consumes me). So much for me focusing on the what's now and shown of the show LOL

chingu why are you terrifying me?!! :scream: no that can't be!!...he wouldn't do that!!...PLEASE NOT!! :confounded:

and looks like Ma Rin is still living in So Joon's house till 3 december as Present So Joon followed Future Ma Rin till she entered their house!! is she waiting for Future So Joon to come back even after their break up?!! wasn't she the one who wanted the break up?!! did he decide thebreak up?!! :dizzy:

Ahjussi is a stalker apparently!!

yeah!! that was awkward!! it's Ki Dong's appartement so why isn't he there as if he left at the same time as Future So Joon?!!

hhhhhhhhhhhh we all hate it!!

ETA: Yup, that's their house she's walking towards. So we now know by December of 2016, So Joon has left Ma Rin who's apparently waiting for him. He doesn't return until Mach of 2019 (or there about) where we see that Ma Rin has since moved out (and stopped waiting?) and the damn 3 years (and 10 years) and what's meant to happen will happen (even if modified) and the damn accident happens. Yeah, I now believe So Joon coming to America is partially (and maybe wholly) noble idiocy. But, what causes him to do it and why?

don't say this!! you're making my life hard!! :bawling:

Ep.6

Marin have such a big heart.she knew her husband keeping a secret from her but she is not straight forward asking everything to him.she waited untill he explain himself.but Sojoon doesn't get this clue.if only he can be more open with her.

SJ disappear on 30 november.about 3 month after marriage. 3 dec Marin still around his house.maybe she still living there.as her promise if sojoon disappear, she will waiting for him.

Why GS's husband so confident that he will become CEO? It connecting with ahjussi.and on sojoon's diary future SJ questioning  about ahjussi and GS's husband.

At the end of this episode we see surprise marin watching SJ and stanger are talking something.is she surprise because she hear what they say.or she recognize the stranger (aka ahjussi)

Funny moment when marin's mom want to move to SJ house and marin say WHAT....really cute SMA

And SJ expression because Marin upset with him..like a little kid.cute too

the subs I watched it was said 31 december that I got really confused!! thank you for clarifying it for me!!

but his friend told him they broke up not only dissappeared!! so how come she's waiting in their/his house?!! naturally when a couple do break up the wife won't keep living in her ex husbands house right?!! andwon't wait for someoneshe broke up with!! it feels weired!! hmmmm

because he knows he'll do everything to get there!! don't know if So Jon will realise Ahjussi getting involved with the director ut I believe he's doubting him for more reasons than that!!

or seeing him talking to a stranger is making herhave more questions about his secrets!!

happy that Ma Rin closed that toppic!! I got really mad at her shameless mother!!

I felt really sorry for him!! poor puppy!! but that was to happen with all the secrets he's hiding even if for good reason!! :(

The more I think about it, the less and less I trust EVERYONE in So Joon's life.

Director Kim is obviously gunning for the chairman position, and Ahjussi looks to be helping him get there. I wouldn't be surprised if Ki Doong feels like he needs to side with them in order to provide for his family. I hope he feels like he is forced to/threaten to do it, because otherwise...the BETRAYAL...

I'm getting confused about Ahjussi again...I still haven't strongly attached on to a theory for his identity yet, but I've felt most confident in the "he's MR's father" one. I still am because I feel like the "disappear" connection between him and SJ is too important to ignore. But Ahjussi's actions this week complicate things a little...we've seen him manipulate and steer So Joon into making decisions before, but this is the first time we've seen him use outside sources to, what looks like, purposefully hurt So Joon...sure maybe if Ahjussi is solely only trying to protect MR, he wouldn't really give a flying **** about what happens to SJ in order to do it. But these decisions would effect and hurt MR too...wouldn't he, as her "father", care about that?  That's quite darker than the story he told about setting his daughter up with a man and them living happily with three kids...I don't see how helping Director Kim take over/ruin SJ's company would save MR either...

I feel like So Joon's mention of "floating" or "being adrift" after disappearing and reappearing has to be relevant somehow...I just don't know how. I wonder if possibly as he continues to travel more and more in desperation to save their lives, he'll start to lose control of when he comes and goes, and also where he ends up. (I still want an explanation as to why he ended up at the accident date in episode 3. It could be that seeing Ma Rin on the subway just made him think of her, and so he went to that date, but idk...). I think that Ahjussi's dialogue to So Joon about how he traveled so much that he eventually couldn't tell past/present/&future from each other may also be relevant. So Joon's "lost in time-ness" may also indicate that he's in some time-loop.

^^^This might be more relevant in the upcoming week. I really hope So Joon's disappearance is out of his control and he doesn't actually choose to leave her ala Noble Idiocy. I love how strongly he opposes the idea when Ki Doong brings it up: "Why would I do that?!"..."I would never do that!"...etc. Yes So Joon-ah, DON'T do that! Go register the marriage NOW!

This is just a random idea that doesn't really have any support yet, but it's another one I've been thinking about it lately...what if the reason that So Joon disappears is because during one of his visits to the future, his present self gets killed? (I'm thinking nefarious intervention by either Director or Ahjussi, but it could be any reason) It would explain why his 2016 self disappeared without any trace. If he had traveled years into the future, it would also explain why no one's been able to contact him for so long. "But if his present self gets killed than his future self wouldn't exist" that's where this theory might have holes...I'm confused as to whether the future where So Joon visited his 2019 self is still currently the future "in motion." It doesn't really make sense for his 2019 self to exist if he disappears in 2016 unless, as we've discussed, he figures out a way to come back.

The idea of Ma Rin waiting for So Joon to come back is both very sad and romantic. However, we know she can't wait forever...

Today's episode just mucked it up even more if anything.

MR looks sad and lifeless walking down that alley to their house.  From their bathroom conversation, MR says that she will just wait for SJ to return if he was to disappear one day.  It's plain to see that she's been waiting on SJ to come back since she's living in his home still.  If it was me after a separation, I'd move just to get away from all the memories.

That same bathroom conversation - SJ says that he would go mad if she wasn't by his side.  Ah, I wonder if he did lose his mind when they separated? Also, question of property division - she was never legally married to SJ apparently so how is it that she got the house? SJ gave it to her then?

Argh - what kind of separation was this?  I keep getting vibes that neither of them wanted to be apart from each other.  It sounds to me like SJ abandoned (?) MR, his friends, his home, his business and even his country.  What would send a man running like that? Even present SJ can't wrap his mind around that.

Will the show ever address that plot point? If SJ confesses his time-traveling ability, could the entire future change again? What if she accepts everything that made her suspicious of him with that one truth?  There goes the reason for the separation right?  I don't know if I could rest never knowing the WHY??

Here's a thought - what if GS's hubby discovers SJ's secret and blackmails him somehow? Leave the business to him and leave the country....or something vile happens to MR?  See, my brain is going round and round, tossing this theory out and that theory out.

Are they still going to die on that fateful day right now?

Edit : Okay, maybe she found out that he married her because he wanted to keep them both alive - not from any real love for her at that time.  If he tells her he is a time-traveler she's going to be so curious about their future together.  I don't know if I want to be in SJ's shoes then - do you tell the whole truth or withhold parts that may cause trouble in their relationship?  I think that may be the deal breaker between them - his plotting to marry her out of necessity  not love.

I'm wondering about their separation too!! I thought that Future So Joon dissappeared and then heartbroken later on 2019 because Ma Rin left him and wanted nothing with him knowing the entire truth but now she's herself lifless waiting for him in their house while he left EVERYTHING behind!! WHAT HAPPENED?!! AND WHY DID THEY GET SEPERATED THEN AND WHY DID HE LEAVE THEENTIRE COUNTRY?!! :confounded:

don't see her not asking for the reasons behind his actions when she finds out he's a time traveler!! and she can doubt something went wrong in their future by remembering his distress telling her how all he'sthinking about is how hey'll get to live along happy life together in the future!! so she'll ask him about what he saw in their future and that's why he never told her he's a time traveler at1stbecause henew she'll ask!!

hhhhhhhhhhhh he can't blackmail him because no one will believe his "nonsens"!! who would believe that he can time travel to the future?!! and Seo Joon can deny everything!! plus if he'll be forced to leave why not take Ma Rin with him?!! I'm losing my mind!!

up till now things everything So Joon saw in his future happened but for one thing Ma Rin getting disabled so I'm praying that even if we got to 25 March 2019 with Future So Joon and Future Ma Rin separated, lifless and worst about to have their fateful accident something happen and change that and its outcome!! I don't want and I can't relive seeing Future SoJoon lifeless in his Present self but I'll take it aslong as their ending won't be the same!! pleaaaaaaase!! :confounded:

I'm sorry I want to ask the basic question, I want to confirm that SoJoon is only able to travel to the future but not to the past isn't it? When he go back to present time, he cannot go back to the time he's going to the future so the time he spent at the future is also count in present time. I was so simple minded to think why he didnt return at the time when he's leaving the present. Apparently he can't do it since it count as the past, right?

yes!! when he spent the entire night in the future it counted as the entire night in the present!! that's how I see it at least!!

That present future waiting side by side scene is gorgeous. It reminds me of 'The Time Traveler's Wife'.

"It's hard being left behind. I wait...I can see infinite moments lined up, waiting. Why has he gone where I cannot follow?"

"How does it feel? How does it feel?...I hate to be where she is not, when she is not. And yet, I'm always going, and she cannot follow."

yeah that was a great moment emotionally and visually!! :tears:

Just watched episode 6...

Does anyone else think that when Ki Doong was telling So Joon that he broke up with Ma Rin and went abroad, he was lying/not telling the whole truth? Something about the delivery was awkward... like he was trying to be cheery/nonchalant when the subject was actually serious. He looked uncomfortable. Maybe Ahjussi put him up to it... Why does it look like he's trying to ruin So Joon's business?

I thought that they would be married for at least two years before they separated, but it looks like it's not even a year? That's so sad... :( How long does Ma Rin wait for him there? Does she know he disappeared or does she think he really left her. It's sad to think of them both living miserably for three years before dying like that.

In episode 3, when So Joon talks to future So Joon through the intercom, that's his and Ki Doong's apartment right? It looks like So Joon really has no one in the future. No wonder he was just waiting to die.

In the episode 7 preview, it looks like So Joon tells Ma Rin about his time-traveling, but I feel like she either doesn't believe or it brings out more truths that make her question if he ever loved her. We can see her leaving (getting on a bus) and him chasing after her. It looks like the bus might get into an accident because it looks like she's at the hospital and So Joon is running searching for her when we hear her questioning if she made a mistake marrying him so soon. If she ends up leaving him, does he still disappear? What about his future self in episode 3, is that a different version of him altogether, or did he figure out a way to "come back?" I both want but don't want next week's episodes to come because I need answers but I know watching it is going to hurt.

please don't push me to dubt him whenI was pusing myself not to!! :confounded:

Future So Joon was on his house not the appartement!! it was messed up but it was his house!!

yes I think she'll have an accident!! but we know he'll "leave"/dissappeare 3 months from now, did we reach that time already?!! :scream:

This is a bit off topic but I wanted to see more Le Je Hoon shows/movies outside of TWY and Signal and I started watching My Paparotti. Turns out Jo Jin Woong was in this movie as well! OMG I just love this actor partnership between Le Je Hoon and Jo Jin Woong. It is a great mentor-mentee relationship! :D I also recommend Bleak Night as well. LJH impresses in this movie but it can get quite dark...

Our Ma Rin is all shades of awesome and kicks so much richard simmons. I love how she takes richard simmons from no one (including So Joon). I was so happy at how she was not here for Se Young or her richard simmons. I loved how she stood up for herself and her work during the happiness meeting. I applauded during the drinking scene. Our girl did not let herself get played. She straight up was like "I know you don't like me and I don't care of the opinions of those who don't like me" That's our girl. She's not going to let anyone belittle her or make her feel less than.

I was so happy when she stood by her (valid feelings) with So Joon and just left their room. I'd be mad too (much of which stems from worry and feelings of neglect). She left numerous messages worried where he was. She wanted just one call or text saying he was ok and not coming home, but after like 20 messages got nothing. Then he comes home to further lie and not even confront things even after the numerous hints and encouragement to do so. Yeah, you can sleep alone, I feel bad for So Joon because he's obviously sorry and does care (all I think about is our future) but richard simmons him, he did this to himself. Ma Rin is ready and waiting for his Batman explanation and to give love and support. He's the idiot who chooses to sleep on it so richard simmons him

Mushroom hair, buckwheat time traveling feedback loop mother watch my mouth can die! Who the richard simmons is he and what's his damage. I feel like whatever he think he doing to help is what brings about the need for So Joon to disappear in 3 months. Whatever mushroom hair said to frenemy's husband got him happy and thinking he gonna be on top soon. 10 billion Won was mentioned....I got a gut feeling it won't end well and will cause harm instead of good though I believe mushroom hair buckwheat intentions are good.

Ki Doong, I'm kinda side eyeing you. My radars are going up. Please don't be a Brutus.

Hi there, I'm new here and though I promised my self to avoid soompi threads while live watching, I couldn't wait for episode 7 so I just needed to be here.

I really like your line of questioning, particularly in reference to Ki Doong. I have that feeling too---like he's lying. But my instinct is telling me that it probably has something to do with Se Yong's feelings. It's obvious to me that Ki Doong has a thing for Se Yong. That whole drunk scene where Se Yong thought he was So Joon must have been a blow. I wonder if Ki Doong is trying to pull off some sort of noble idiocy for Se Yong's sake.

The apartments look so much alike that I've gotten confused but wasn't that intercom talk between past So Joon and future So Joon at So Joon's house with Ma Rin? I can't be confused by the sofa and the fancy intercom, so somehow it makes me think that the accident happening is still possible. I do wonder how So Joon could have disappeared barely half a year into their marriage. The fact that the idea was thrown at around the same time he got trapped in the future and couldn't go home to the present due to the subway closing must mean something. If So Joon disappeared, I'm convinced he got trapped in a future timeline and Doo Shik was actually looking for him when they ran into each other at Ki Doong's house in 2018. It's not much different from when he kept riding the subway back and forth trying to find the exact date that he disappeared. Doo Shik must be looking for the missing future So Joon as well, or else, why would Doo Shik even be at Ki Doong's house? Also, the Doo Shik that appeared in front of their house that night, was he from the past or is he the present Doo Shik?

happy you joinedus here!! :)

I can see Ki Dong being hurt by Se Yeong not seeing him and only thinking and seeing So Joon and that he's living on So Jon but I really need him to reamain hisbest friend!! betraying So Joon will be disasterous emotionally and can lead to everything going wrong as we saw!!

yes it was So Joon's house!!

but why would he get trapped in he future?!! did the subway satation got shot down and no subways are going to Namyeong?!!

it was the present Ahjussi talking to Sun Woo when Ma Rin saw them!! Future Ahjussi can't go to the past to meet Present So Joon!!

"He knows the universe and himself he does not know."

"Our destiny is frequently met in the very paths we take to avoid it" - Jean de la Fontaine

With each episode I'm convinced So Joon is changing nothing and simply reshaping, remolding, modifying a set path. He's in a loop. What's done has been done and will be done. He's been there before and will be their again leading basically to the same outcome, the same final destination. From the very first episode actions that need to occur has (and thus goes all the way back yo the train accident and maybe even before that). The number 3 is more important than even 10, but it all goes back to "let it be".

Ma Rin gets into a car accident (2016). She's paralyzed. She lives a life of misery for three years. Then she dies (2019).

What So Joon has done: He saves Ma Rin from baby truck of doom. Still she gets into a car accident (technically sunrises by a car). She isn't paralyzed, instead she faints. Ma Rin and So Joon's life are now bound. They get married, but from what what we've learned three months later that marriage ends. Ma Rin is miserable for a time (So Joon has left her. Who know how many years she waited). Then a car accident occurs (2019) and perhaps one or both die (I don't think they die. How and why, I don't know but I don't think they do). Everything has been eventual.

Now future So Joon makes sense. In 2019 when he talks to present So Joon looking miserable and alone, he's in their home (the one he shares or shared with Ma Rin) and not the apartment. I for one think he had comeback from his 3 years gone, act of potential nobel  idiocy. I think he left Ma Rin thinking it would be for her/their own good. Obviously Ma Rin had been waiting for him, but once he comes back, that is no longer the case (the wedding photos are gone and her presence are gone). Whatever So Joon thought to happen and hoped to happen with his leaving obviously did not. When he's driving and talking to present So Joon he says he's headed to Namyeong station to set things right (has he found some way travel to the past? Was he going to visit and change a future?). He sees  Ma Rin perhaps for the first time in three years and is full of regret and longing. Fate being a mean richard simmons, it's 2019 and what will happen, happens. Ma Rin is hit by a car. So Joon watches and looks like he sits and awaits his own fate. His cryptic words of "Don't try so hard, nothing changes anyhow...try to make it work with that woman" was a warning imho, which he doesn't hear. Make it work with that woman.

So Joon. Stop. Traveling. And. Live. Your. Life. You gotta to change yourself (tell her your size, tell her about your parents death and Happiness and survivors remorse, and introduce her to your friends, and let her come visit the office, and watch the news with her. My gods, you don't even have to tell her you time travel. Just let her emotionally in. Make her feel like a woman. Like you love and need her. Like she's your partner. Do it in actions and not words. You got such a loyal girl ready to love all of you, and you, not time traveling, but you are killing it.  Let her into to all your homes and not the pretty house of cards you've built!). Change yourself, change/save the future!

I agree with what you said but now I'm thinking, didn't Ahjussi knew of their marriage and how it didn't work and didn't save them?!! then why did hepush Seo Joon to find her andpushed the marriage and baby thoughtson him?!! but if so then so in the 1st future Future So Joon was that heartbroken it was because?!!  and why did he feel that broken seeing her, knowing she'll die?!! I'm losing it!!

Beans of Wisdom from the future

by DB Staff | February 19, 2017 | 1 Comment

read here: http://www.dramabeans.com/2017/02/beans-of-wisdom-from-the-future/

Saner is reeling from the beanies’ predictions in “Tomorrow With You: Episode 3.” She writes in comment #3.1:

I’m beginning to suspect some of our beanies have time travelling methods that we’re not aware of…My jaw DROPPED when I read the part in his recap, immediately thinking “But how could they know!?”

To be fair, there’s a lot of methods – incense sticks, rain, mysterious monk’s talisman, hormonal portals, moon eclipses (dangerous and risky methods! Stay away from cliffs and drowning pools my dear beanies!) the subway….

C’mon guys, spill! How’re you doing it? Sharing is caring! ^_~

Storeybrooke:

Perhaps with each bite of Subway, beanies transport to future drama world

skelly:

This whole show is actually based on the writer’s misunderstanding. The producers told the writer, “the story is all about travelling through time via Subway” and the writer assumed “subway.”

But back to the question at hand… I don’t give Six Flying Dragons replies:

Yes Saner, we can TOTALLY time travel.

Its a complicate process that involves altars to the early Hong sisters, background music from 1997 and curiously enough a peer reviewed paper on the existential contradiction that is Boys over flowers, the best AND worst show ever.

While in “Tomorrow With You: Episode 4,” Alyyy points out this potentially awesome fact in comment #25:

March 25, 2019 is their anticipated death and the last episode of the drama is on March 25 too. So tvN planned this all along. rofl i am random they’re playing with us

OH MY GOD!! Tomorrow With You will end at 25th March?!! on the same fated accident date?!! ARE THEY KIDDING ME?!! :dizzy:

the only explination I can think of is him trying to trick the director but it can backfire especially that he's doing it on his own without telling So Joon about what he knows!!

yeah!! I LOVE IT EVERYTIME I see Present So Joon being determinate and oppose his future actions!! I was thinking like you wanting him to register the marriage NOW especially after Ma Rin telling him that they can wait longer to do that!! I was "GO REGISTER IT NOW!!" Lee Je Hoon was great with his expression at that moment realising how the future he's trying to prevent is building up!!

and my heart almost dropped reading your words!! but like you said his present self dying in the future will erase his existance in the future so that can't happen!!

I really don't know myself!! :cold_sweat:

OMG I just love this actor partnership between Le Je Hoon and Jo Jin Woong. It is a great mentor-mentee relationship! :D I also recommend Bleak Night as well. LJH impresses in this movie but it can get quite dark...

thank you for the recommandation!! :) my fate with actor who wants to go dark!! why are they doing this to me?!!

Please don't be a Brutus.

yes I loved hat too!! she have her insecurity and los self-esteem but won't let others treat her badly or disrespect her!!

I feel bad for both of them as I can understand both of them!! :(

I think so but it can go wrong which is NOT GOOD!!

PLEAAAAAAASE!!

Anybody know the instrumental song that starts playing at 0:53 mark? I think it may be an original for the drama but the only OST released so far is the song sang by Seo In Guk. It reminds me a lot of the About Time theme.

The video is a spoiler for those who have not watched episode 4 onwards.

@sakura2016 Thank you for your reply. BTW, love the name "Sakura" reminds me of the Cherry Blossoms we saw during one of our visits to Brooklyn, NY during their Cherry Blossom festival. Cherry Blossoms such a beautiful flower!

Hope that SJ will be able to change his disappearance if it means saving their marriage too. His disappearance makes the future look so dismal and not looking forward to this part of the drama. We definitely need to know more about why Ahjushii approaches Director Kim Yong Jin. Is it for his own self greed or is it to help SJ and MR in the future. It also seem that there's a question of KD's loyalty to SJ. This theory has never crossed my mind, but after reading all the comments, I see that this theory is a very strong possibility.

We see in the preview that SJ does confess to MR that he is a time traveler. Is this for real or just part of a dream? I truly hope it's for real. May help in preventing his disappearance and breaking up with MR.

@jeenee you're right. he mentioned something about a child. perhaps that is one of the possible futures in store for MR and SJ. ajusshi is pretty sketchy, but i think that he is doing what he is doing for MR's benefit. he's trying to save her, but to fo that, he needs to save SJ as well since he needs him to save MR.

Hello, it's my first time posting here!

I just marathoned the first six episodes of this drama (was sick this weekend and gobbled up the episodes like Chicken soup!)

@jjoy84You made a valid point. Thinking back, the conversation between Ahjussi and SJ about his daughter makes a lot more sense now.  He stated that by putting a man (a new variable) in his daughter’s path, he was able to alter her future. Is that man SJ? Did he somehow change SJ and MR’s fates in 2009, when they were on the train? MR and SJ fates were entwined since that day. He recognized SJ right away as a time traveler during the latter’s first timeslip. Is it because SJ looked disoriented and was not wearing weather appropriate clothing? Or is it something more? Is it because Ajusshi somehow had a hand in affecting SJ’s future? Or that he knew beforehand who SJ was?
He also was the one who “convinced” SJ to save MR in 2016 and also implanted the idea of marrying her and having a family. I believe that, if he is MR's father, he is trying to come up with different variables that might help to prolong her life. With SJ questioning Ahjusshi’s identity and motive in his journal entry makes me believe that SJ found out that Ahjusshi must have approached and helped him with ulterior motives.

So Joon. Stop. Traveling. And. Live. Your.

@MrsSoJiSub I AGREEEEE! So Joon-ah do not time travel for the time being plss, just live the happy life with Ma Rin in the present moment, register your marriage right away chaeballl :(

I found it very interesting how for ex, in Japan, gay ecchi mangas (ecchi is soft porn), are usually targeted for female audiences as well as gay audiences. Here, we might be influenced by our current perception of LJH, but I could totally see how their interaction would draw female viewers in as well... Like I said, it was just the emotions, the silly and young love that got me.

where was gay romance? did i miss something?

@jeenee If you backread a bit, you'll see that we have discuss at length the possibility that Mushroom Hair is MR's father. Right now, most of us feel that he is either MR's father or SJ's himself from a distant future.

@MrsSoJiSub I so agree with you that SJ needs to stop thinking about the future! Right now, he is living his present in relation to the future he sees. But it would be so different if he just lived his present as such and like you say, talk to MR, introduce her to his friends, etc. However, a scene in the preview for episode 7 makes me think that it might be where he is heading. We see him waiting for the subway, thus redy to time travel and then he changes his mind and runs to somewhere. Maybe he is starting to realize that he needs to do things in the present instead of going to see the future? I hope so!

ETA:

@Reyko Did you just watch Just Friends? :D

@carolinedl SJ from a distant future? That’s a nice theory; however, wouldn’t it be impossible for them to be in such proximity? I think one of the rules of time traveling is for present/past and/or future self(ves) not to see each other or else the traveling self would start disappearing.

Watching this drama makes me realised that there are two types of man,

1 is the one who feel superior towards woman, so when he makes a lot of money, he thinks that he has the right to control woman and to be served as king. Like the frenemy's husband.

The other one is the man that respect woman. I know some people say that sojoon is a liar by marrying MR without love (I disagree, I think he has feeling for her but didn't realised it since first time he saved her.) But we see that SoJoon still treat MaRin as woman. He protect her, he try to make her happy, and he prevent to hurt her feelings. SJ is also having a lot of money, way more than the frenemy's husband but the way he gave the card to MaRin is so so sooo different with the way the frenemy's husband give the card to the frenemy. Can't all man be like sojoon?

We are on the same page dear. I really cannot stand men like frenemy's husband....Although honesty is the basis in any good relationship, I understand why SJ had to lie. He has a good heart and I will marry him anytime ... Like some of the others have mentioned above, our namja here just needs to come clean with MR and start living in the present...after all I think the message of this drama is that what you do in the present, the choices you make to live your best life and to give your best self to the ones you love,  is what changes your future.

Edit @sakura2016...woah! It did not strike me that this drama will end on that fateful date. Well-timed. Talk about coincidence. :astonished:

@SpaceNoir97..I'm in my Lee Je Hoon phase - oppa crush on the rise- so I'm watching and have bookmarked all his shows as well! Lol!

@MrsSoJiSub can re-explain it all, otherwise you can also back-read a bit. Basically, the theory would be that since SJ does not know Mushroom Hair is himself, than that would not count.

@enigmatic_zephy @Reyko and I were discussing a short that LJH played in way back. The name is Just Friends? and you can watch it on Dailymotion.
