Finally a great episode for Sotus S...!!

It seems that we always have to get into a "fantacy world" to get any romance going on with Kong and Arthit. This time (once again) a beach trip: can't the writers go to any of the many and beautiful natural parks around Thailand for a change ( LOL ).

But this is not so important; as it creates a sense of continuity between our two leads. Arthit started moving forward... and this is because of his sense someone could "take Kong away from him"... literarly. This time was the human resorts manager (what was her name again)... "coming in between"... and I couldn't help but to be so amaze at Arthit puting an escuse not to take a picture of her and Kong alone because of his dirty sandy hands - LOL (that was a good one, Arthit...!)

There were many moves of Arthit to Kong in this episode, more caring, more body language going on, as it should be between two guys in love. And we can tell that Kong enjoyed every single detail... no matter how simple it was: "You most take better care of your self"; or the "I am not telling you" game between the two was lovely... kind of childish and yet matching this characters storyline.

BUT... and there is always a moment when I see the sturm coming in...

Did you realize how Kong had to "force" Arthit into taking that kiss...?? Watch it again... and you will realize it.

Not that he didn't love to be force into it by Kong... but he always push himself away after a kiss... in a mix feelings of shame and shy...

I don't want to create any bad feelings on this scene, but it shows that Arthit is not ready to completely open up to Kong and his love feelings for him. Is like he can't do that... afraid of too many things. When I see this happening I go always back to Arthit talks with Knot and all his doubst on being together with Kong: "Am I good enough for him"; "Can we have a future together as boys in love"; "What to do because of family, society and traditions"... all the questions rolling over and over in every moves he makes.

The teaser to next week show this is going to become the next big issue once more, as the co-workers will know about them being a couple; so I can't but to see this sturm is going to poor down all the feelings they have been "putting back in the closet"... for a while now at the company... and made Arthit go thru all his fears and questions from the beginning once more into a new dimention... then this time there is not going back: It is the point of no return: Lovers in the open - Yes, or No.

The side stories were very nice too:

The 0058's are getting closer, but still have a way to go. Day certainly had a fisical problem before, as he keeps on rejecting any fisical contact with Tew... but we can tell Tew hasn't never give up and has place tons of patience into wining over Day heart. This doesn't has be as love feelings in a BL sense... but could be simply what great friend feel for each other; or real good brothers. After all: Do we know why Tew has been doing this all the time...? Well... yes... the both are "code related"... which here has a sense of family relation in a generation way... But... is it that all...? He didn't tell Day from the start they were code related... and the way he worried about his junior kid was never forced, but very real and pure. One thing is for sure: Tew has a pure and loving heart; just as Kongpob.

And then we had our little Nai... heart broken because of his assigment far away from "production" and the arms of Yong.

I couldn't follow well the talk between Kong and Yong regarding this work issue, but that seems to me was kind of important for Yong to know how to deal with this "problem". Whatever Kong told him was the right way to follow. We will know when the Eng Subs come out later on today. Luckily they had some quality time together on the beach... even if the start was still kind of frozen Yong didn't give up on Nai... but showed him care and kindness all the time. Their picture together at night for the company records may be the first memory to keep in their future foto album romance.

Cheers...!

It strikes me that the writers decided to have a look at what got people excited in the first season and tried to copy/paste into the second.

(...)

we have our two heroes who have not moved forward in time at all. I have read that remaining formal is a possibility in Thailand but to be honest I think that only reason Arthit starts pretty much all phrases with : Kongpob ! is because viewers liked him trying to be all assertive, and likewise in the other direction it is : P'Arthit...

We are being asked to believe that a couple who do not communicate at the basic level have managed to stay together. I can't just about accept that the decision to work at Arthit's company was a last minute thing but even so there was a time gap between thinking about it, applying for it, getting it and then turning up. That did not happen overnight. Why didn't he tell him that he was even considering it ? Bonkers !

(...)

To be frank, Season 2 is turning into everything that I was worried about. Drama for the sake of drama and worse yet, not even believable drama.

Hi dustinmyeye...!

Few episode later and we are in the same playground...!

"copy/paste" is a good point: once more a beach trip with Arthit sleeping over Kong at the bus...

"remaining formal" is not real gay thai life at all - LOL

Have you watch "Gay OK Bangkok"...?  Season 1 and 2 already... or even the love story of Knock and Korn...? (Band Romance The Series & Together with me)... Now that is more like real thai life for gay guys... and yet have their own spice of fition; so do not believe being "formal" is something "normal" for a thai Boys Love couple. That may be normal in a novel... The way they address each other is simply too distance for a couple; and the thai laguage has so many examples for this. They should be talking to each other as "Chan" by now. And Arthit "knows" this. Remeber that softly "Kong" at the beach after the gear ceremony...? Now, that is how you talk to the guy you love.

To your 3rd point.. well... you named it already: Things doesn't happen over night. They do take time. It is not like Kong could just visit the condominuin and say "I want the room next to my boyfriend... RIGHT NOW!!" - LOL

"Drama for the sake of the drama" is coming up once again... I just hope we can coupe with it... and find some meaning out of it too... otherwise this season could really end as a huge disaster...!! And that would be too sad, considering we have 2 great actors leading this series.

Cheers...!

Isn't Yong a bit too young to be the head of department ? You really notice his free and easy approach to people. Yong just takes Nai out for dinner and chats football. They get along as workmates/friends in a way that Arthit Kongpob should have been doing in the factory.

It looks like he is... but then most people in this company seem to be under 30 years old - LOL

They way Yong and Nai interact is beautiful... so open and uncomplicated... can't think Arthit and Kong will ever be at ease again... as they use to in the first days at the dorms... considering those dates they had were never as relax as this of Yong and Nai... even driving him home... "just because"...

In the last episode this continues quite weel, despite the little disapoiment of nai for not being place in the production department... Could we even get Arthit and Kong this way once more...? It seems like "missiong impossible"

Cheers...!

Alright I'm watching the show now and it's still airing so I'm not too late for the discussion this time! lol

I'm on ep 6 at the moment watching the preview for ep 7 and the line "I don't know how much distance is enough" just hit me hard with the feels. Sad Kong just gets me so easily, man! :cold_sweat: I lowkey love it.

Also, yay some movement with Day's storyline. I've been feeling like the scenes have been a bit too repetitive up to the previous episode.

*Read the latest posts.

I've totally been seeing the "copy/paste" elements as well.

On ep 9 now. I'll watch it later if the link I see is legit.

I still don't get why the 0058s become so close all of a sudden... I assume they have more off-screen interactions and we're asked to fill the plothole ourselves?

YongNai problem is kinda funny. Is not being in the same department as your loved one really a big deal? I mean, they're still in the same company & building... But I do love their interactions, and it doesn't feel like they are too concerned about the problem. :)

And as the others have said, finally some quality time for KongThit. :D

Hi evanevan...!

You are kind of right on the 0058 point... But the starting moment was when Day realized that Mew is his senior 0058 code student... in the first 0058 meeting at P'Bringht's bar... from that moment I think he understood partly why New so much "after him" and always trying to get close to him. Since that day Day has been more open to talking Tew and they have been spending more time together. Other things also made this possible, like getting - by accident - on the same mini bus in the morning. Spending time together is always a great thing, as you get to talk and open up little by little; yet Day is not comfortable when New tries to get a bit "physical" with him... like in this last episode scene. Course... there are many things happening in the background we have to assume... but this is the same for Kong and Arthit, right (?) - Have we even seen then having sex...? Or even going physical inside their 4 walls....?

YongNai... they are quite cute together... that mix of desire and shyness is lovely to watch... But I think the job issue has to do more with what Nad want to work with... He is a creator... so for him the production department was the ideal place to work; it wasn't related specifically to Yong. It is sad to want a job and not get it... this was the same for Arthit before: He wanted to work in the production department... He even was already kind of close with Yong and Cherry there... and yet he was placed on the sales department. So... if someone would have a right on a position inside the production department I would say Arthit deserves to be offer that job first. Sure... we are talking here at the moment only about interns students... it is not that they are getting the job positions as a co-workers of the company yet.

Was great watching KongThit... Kong efforts haven't been for nothing...  and Arthit is truly being that now. Every move of Kong brings them closer and closer... and being each other daily is paying off for Kong in the long term.

Cheers...!

I just watched EP 9 with the GEARFanSub and got to take my thoughts about Day avoiding any phisical contact with tew back. When Tew presented his hand wasn't to help him up, but to get his backpack - LOL

That scene was actually very cute and shows how much day is into Tew already. I mean... waiting for him to finish his task training the future hazers to go back home together....

Spending time together is always the best you can do and have when you find someone you like; and this goes in general, not only for lovers, but also for good friends.

OTAKU-KUN - Don't worry. I just mention Knock & Korn here as an example of a more real and open Thai Boys Love compare to this very conservative style of Arthit & Kongpob. Thinking of this great screen kiss with and the way Kong had to "force" Arthit into it just opened so many questions for me: Time is flying in this series... they are living door to door; and yet Kong has to force Arthit into taking a kiss saying "This time I won't let you escape"...(!) It seems to me Kong has been place on permanet kisses diet... not to go any deeper... and that after years of relationship. Compare to Knock & Korn this kids are really missing like A LOT....!!

BUT this is a series, and not real life... so we just can take what the writters and producers made out of this.

By the way: Did you knew Tul Pakorn (Knock) is working in another gay role (Kacha) in a lakorn name "Sapai Ka Fak" (สะใภ้กาฝาก) on Channel 3 Thailand together with Simon Kessler (he played James in "Bad Romance")...?

That lakorn seems to be quite good... but I haven't found any subtitles for it... too bad...

The original episodes are availabe in YouTube...

Can we believe this will ever happen for Kongpob & Arthit...? A marry propousal...?

Not to mention live their love in the open; even tell their families about it....

Tul Pakorn has got 2 propousals already - OMG - LOL

The next episodes will be crusial... We are still missing the worst moment for Kong & Arthit that was in the trailer for this season... remember...(?)

But that may take a bit longer... as for next week the main issue will be the problem that P'Jon created with his lying on the new products line and the supplieyers... We will have Kongpob solving this problem because of his dad.

Cheers...!

As by now you will have found out, we never get to find out what that distance was, because with a leap and a bound, all of that complicated stuff was ignored in the next episode :)

I hate finding fault with the episodes. I can cope with holes in the plot, I can handle some of the more dopey bits and daft phrases (I'll turn off the lights now, that will save money ! ) but when the side stories get better dialogue than the main characters I get frustrated. There is so much, I think, that we all want to know about how the Kongpob/Arthit relationship developed over the previous years but we are being drip fed. Cliff hangers with Arthit scowling at Kongpob to be followed by some daft explanation next episode.

After the big row at the restaurant I felt certain that we were finally going to get the big explanation, nope. Nada. Is it just me or did we miss the chance for a good heart to heart in the first few episodes to explain where the pair have got to in their relationship. Em explained to Kongpob in the very first episode as to why he still hadn't made a move on May. Sounded daft (after two years) but there it was, we understood.

Haven't seen the latest episode yet but you make it sound quite good. Sadly I do not see this series as one that I would keep to watch again, certainly not the first half dozen episodes.

This is one of my biggest gripes about this series. The not knowing how they have managed to stay together nearly for 3 years and some how they seem to lack communication between each other. While this last episode was a nod to Season 1 (the feels man the feels)...I still am critical about the way they have wasted the first five episodes trying to develop this drama they will face and on the side couples, when they should have used those episodes to show us how they progressed. My biggest pet-peeve is that we get tiny flashbacks at the end of each episode to try and explain what their relationship was like, but it seemed wasteful.

Now this is more about my rants so you can ignore if you wish :)

Also (I know this is fiction and all), but in nearly 3 years NEITHER ONE told their parents about their relationship? I mean while that it's not that far-fetched, I find it hard to believe given that Kong seems to be close to his parents and I would imagine that he would want to share that with them...so the new drama coming up about Arthit being angry with Kong because of who his father is, just solidifies my point that these two did not communicate honestly and it further proves to me that their relationship somehow made it because of some "miracle"...geeze I've known people who have broken up after months for the smallest of things...not meeting the parents in nearly 3 years is a BIG red flag...
