Green Tea skin effects

Recommended Posts

I never heard about this one! I use it primarily to temporarily boost my metabolism, but don't drink too much of it either because it can darken/stain your teeth. x:

I used to use a green tea toner and it helped with controlling acne, and my acne scars lessened but I am not sure if it was the effect of the tea or time.

I heard match green tea masks are great for your complexions. I just grab a bowl and mix matcha and manuka honey or coconut oil to create a paste. My skin has cleared and brighten a bit from it.

P.s only use organic as you don't want other chemicals affecting your skin tone.

Once or twice a week will be beneficial to your skin. :)

No it doesn't lighten your skin but it's a great toner and great if you have minor sun burns. However, make sure to moisturize because it's pretty drying. Especially if you use like a matcha mask, which I've done.

A good skin brightener/toner is raw apple cider vinegar. Just dilute it with some water and use like a toner. It's great for killing bad bacteria too but rinse thoroughly with water after. It's a bit astringent and can irritate the skin. I hope this helps OP! ^_^

Green tea consists of a effective antioxidant known as egcg that fights dna damage from uv rays to save you skin cancer. Which means it is also a powerful anti-aging element that combats signs of growing old when ingested or carried out topically. ... The catechins in inexperienced tea reduce inflammation, redness, and swelling.
