Synopsis
Cyrano Agency is a drama based on the film of the same title, and will talk about whether love can be manipulated. The Agency will attempt to connect people who are clumsy at love to their matches, and in the process cover everything about love and relationships.

Characters
Seo Byung Hoon  is widely recognized as a skilled director among theater circles. He starts the dating agency out of guilt after a friend’s death in order to revive that friend’s theater troupe.  
Gong Min Young is the headstrong romanticist , who has a completely different personality from Seo Byung Hoon
Cha Seung Pyo is a chef that runs a small restaurant in the building next to the Agency, and is caught up in a monetary relationship with the Agency′s leader Byung Hoon (Lee Jong Hyuk) as well as a subtle love relationship with Min Young (Sooyoung).
Moo Jn is the brain behind the dating agency , the ‘chic & dark engineer of the dating agency
Ah Rang  ,the ‘bright energizer maknae who is a master at part time jobs‘

Lee Chun Hee has been cast as the lead of tvN′s upcoming drama Cyrano Agency.
Through an official press release on April 3, tvN announced that "Lee Chun Hee will be taking up the role of the attractive chef with a hidden past, Seung Pyo. He will be transforming into a good-looking chef."

The three stars will be leading a new drama from tvN, the channel that brought you the “Flower Boy” drama series, titled, “Dating Agency: Cyrano” (hereafter “Cyrano”). “Cyrano” will take the format of a prequel to the movie of similar name, “Cyrano: Dating Agency,” which was originally based on the popular Korean webtoon, “Cyrano Agency.” (Just as confused as you are here.)

Lee Jong Hyuk of “A Gentleman’s Dignity” fame will play the character of Seo Byung Hoon in the romantic comedy drama. The character  is widely recognized as a skilled director among theater circles. Sooyoung will play the headstrong romanticist, Gong Min Young, who has a completely different personality from Seo Byung Hoon. Due to this difference, Gong Min Young and Seo Byung Hoon constantly butt heads, bickering like Tom and Jerry.

Lee Chun Hee will play a chef of a restaurant located next to the dating agency, who gets caught between Gong Min Young and Seo Byung Hoon.

Lee Jong-hyuk headlines next tvN Flower Boy series

First of all, there’s a new Flower Boy drama on the way. Rejoice! And… Lee Jong-hyuk is headlining? Now, I LOVE me some Lee Jong-hyuk, but don’tcha think he’s more flower ajusshi than boy? The fourth installment of the Oh Boy series for cable network tvN will be Cyrano Dating Agency — and yes, it’s the same agency that Uhm Tae-woong once ran in the movies. He’ll be playing that same character, and is probably a better fit for the smooth-talking puppetmaster of romance, though of course he becomes his own worst enemy when it comes to his own love life. If this is the result of Lee Jong-hyuk dropping I Summon You, Gold, then I think that makes him the winner. Also me.

The movie starred Uhm Tae-woong as the leader of an unusual dating agency that was less about finding you a match and more about inventing scenarios wherein a bumbling fool (Daniel Choi) could look really cool in front of the girl of his dreams (Lee Min-jung). But in true Cyrano de Bergerac fashion, it was the man behind the romance/poetry/wind machines who really loved the girl, and he had to wrestle with helping another man win over the love of his life.

The drama will be based on a webtoon that’s the prequel to the movie, so basically we’re backing up to get the origin story of the dating agency. I don’t know how closely it’ll stick to the film, but we’ll have to catch up to that timeline eventually, or create a parallel one with an alternate course. Lee Jong-hyuk stars as the hero, Seo Byung-hoon, who puts his once-day-job skills as a masterful play producer to use in creating this bizarre dating agency that orchestrates romantic scenarios for paying clients, all in an effort to raise enough money to save an old theater. It’s like instead of just hiring one Cyrano, you get a highly efficient team complete with stage props.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung has been cast as one of the members of the dating agency (Gong Min-young, Park Shin-hye’s role in the movie). Lee Chun-hee will play a character that wasn’t in the movie — a man with a mysterious past and the chef of the restaurant that’s next door to the theater where the dating agency is housed.

It’ll be a 16-episode rom-com, from the director of the romantic comedy Happy Ending or Die, and one of the writers of Tamra The Island. I’ve always wanted Cyrano Dating Agency to be a drama (the episodic potential with the various romantically-challenged clients is endless), so I’m looking forward to the adaptation. Now it almost seems like Lee Jong-hyuk’s cameo in Flower Boy Next Door was some kind of carefully planned hidden clue, like a baton-pass from one Flower Boy drama to the next and from Park Shin-hye, who was in Cyrano. Let’s just say it was.

Cyrano Dating Agency follows current Monday-Tuesday drama Nine and premieres in May.

Actors Lee Jong Hyuk, Lee Chun Hee, and singer and actress Sooyoung from girl group Girls' Generation to star in new tvN drama.

On April 3rd, tvN revealed that the actors will be the leading roles in their next drama “Cyrano Agency.”

“Cyrano Agency” will be based in the 2010 movie with the same name, and will talk about the Cyrano agency stage actors team-for-hire, that will help their clients with their relationships, with elaborated plans. The drama will also go over the lives of the people running the agency.

Lee Jong Hyuk will play the role of Seo Byung Hoon, the leader of the agency, who will save his friend's theater, after he died in an accident. He used to be a renown theatrical director

Lee Chun Hee will be Cha Seung Pyo, the owner and chef of the restaurant next to the agency, who is connected to Seo Byung Hoon for money. He will fall in love with Kong Min Young (Sooyoung).

Sooyoung will be the hopelessly romantic Kong Min Young, who works in the Cyrano agency and is often caught in disagreements with the leader Seo Byung Hoon, due to their different personalities.

"Cyrano Agency" is the next drama from the “Oh Boy” project, that have brought dramas like “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” “Shut Up: Flower Boy Band” and “Flower Boy Next Door.”

The drama will start airing in late May, and will replace "Nine: Nine Times Time Travel."

I'm in with this drama,i liked the movie so i expect to like this drama as well...who said that a flower boy can't be much more older,he's young at heart ) ...Curious about the other cast as well :x

the girl who! ,Yeah he wasn't young as well,i was refering at the flower boy concept,you know young,handosme etc....so i quite like that they place a adult in a rom com,i expect much more in the romance angle >

I read about this earlier today on dramabeans.com and thought it sounded like a lot of fun.  My first thought was I'm in!!  I hope it will be as good as it sounds!!

I know this will be an excellent follow up drama to Nine. The story seems good and I'm happy to see Sooyoung in another drama, loved her in Third Hospital.
