However, fate is always a teaser. JJ transfers his position to a criminal prosecution lawyer, and meets Tin Lam again under the roof of the same law firm. The ex-couple try to work together again, but JJ and Tin Lam have very different approaches in handling the same case.
Along with the intervention of JJ’s new assistant Chuk Sheung Yuet (Grace Wong), who is seducing JJ, the ex-couple’s relationship takes a down toll, and it appears that their once loving relationship can never be salvaged. JJ also has been harboring resentment against Tin Lam ever since she rejected his proposal. That is, until he discovered Tin Lam’s true reasons for rejecting him.
Sammy Leung stars as Kam Po Tei, the adopted son of JJ’s father Kam Po Cheung (Benz Hui). JJ and Po Tei are best friends and as close as real blood brothers. As a CID, Po Tei and JJ often come across each other at work. In an operation, Po Tei meets the nemesis of his life, undercover cop Ai Mei San (Sharon Chan). While the two cops dislike each other immensely, they are always there for each other to fix their mistakes. Po Tei eventually falls in love with Mei San and confesses to her.
When the main characters are finally beginning to see a road forming ahead of them, rich businesswoman Pong Tit Sam (Alice Chan) steps in with an insolvable murder case, making their road ever more difficult and dangerous to tread on.

Fresh out of the oven TV Queen Tavia Yeung attended TVB new series Friendly Fire promotional event along with the other cast Michael Tse, Sharon Chan, Sammy Leung and Alice Chan. The cast all congratulated her and gave her kisses. However, Michael pulled a prank on her while he knelt down with flowers to propose to her and said: "Marry him!" This frightened Tavia as she asked: "Who?" Michael replied: "Your Mr. Right! He's very 'Him' (modest)." Michael was referring to Him Law. During the games, Michael gave a giant empty check to Tavia, but later signed the check "Mr. Law". Tavia was so embarrassed she went and attacked Michael.

The night after the TVB awards ended, Tavia celebrated outside TVB City with all her fans. When she got a giant congratulations card, she thanked fans for their suport and was so touched she cried. She promised fans she will be like Wayne Lai one day and get the award 3 times. It was reported Tavia plans to repay TVB by signing another 5 year contract? She said: "I already have a contract, and haven't thought of signing another one. I'm currently focused on my work and hope people will offer me more work so I can make more money."

Tavia said she hasn't celebrated with rumored boyfriend Him Law yet, but will probably do so with a large group of friends later. Her greatest wish now is to go on vacation with her mother. When asked why she didn't announce her relationship or confess her love at the award ceremony? She said: "Two different things! Still have lots of time, no need to rush. Take it slowly."

Also, the moment Tavia was crowned TV Queen, Him Law appeared with tears on the TV screen. He later accepted an interview and blew Tavia a kiss. Looks like their relationship is starting to really surface, but Tavia responded indifferently. Him reveals through his management, "I wasn't crying, just had watery eyes because the whole atmosphere was so touching, like Lee Sing Cheung and Koo Ming Wa's acceptance speeches. Watching so many friends finally get an award after so many years of hard work, I am happy for them. (How to celebrate with Tavia?) Because I need to work on dubbing for my new film and have to work on a commercial, so I won't be in HK. Perhaps treat her a meal when I come back." As for the blow kiss, Him laughed and said he was just doing what the reporters asked, he didn't take the initiative.

Popular Asians reported that recently, mainland netizens were enraged with a scene in the drama that was deemed insulting.
In the scene, actress Mandy Wong plays an illegal mainland pregnant woman called Fei Fei who was criticised by a Hong Kong woman for eating hot pot in the hospital room. Fei Fei then exclaimed, "All you Hong Kong people know are to file complaints. You can't understand at all". After an argument, Fei Fei's husband later retorted, "You Hong Kong people are of such low quality!"
The mentioned scene was similar to a real-life situation last year, when a Hong Kong mother had complained about a mainland mother for eating hot pot in a hospital room.
Mainland netizens who watched the drama were deeply offended in how they were being portrayed, claiming "Friendly Fire" to be anti-mainland China. They also demanded TVB to make an apology.
Asked if he is not afraid that his drama will not be shown in mainland China due to the controversy, producer Man Wai Hung stated, "I am from a Hong Kong broadcasting company, and I want more freedom in my creativity."
"Friendly Fire" stars Michael Tse, Tavia Yeung, Sammy Leung, and Sharon Chan.

Following Sharon Chan's wet black bra and looking at Sammy Leung's whole body scenes in TVB new seriesFriendly Fire, she appears in a sexy black bathing suit in last night's episode. Yesterday afternoon, Sharon uploaded the photo on Weibo and showed off her beautiful long legs. She said: "Tonight's episode is amazing! For that swimming scene, I didn't dare to eat for 3 days!"

In last night's episode, the drunken Michael Tse ends up sleeping with an ugly girl and girlfriend Tavia Yeung finds out. Netizens praised the hilarious scene, and even Sammy Leung, who was on a radio interview yesterday, laughed as he watched the scene. He praised the ugly girl role was suitable for the scene, but not considered too ugly and the scene came out good, "That actress did very well."

Yesterday Michael was on CRHK's radio program 100. He was asked if TV King is his next goal? He said: "Not completely, but every artist does hope to have achievements and gain recognition. The best is when I get the award, I deserve it."

Source: FACE Magazine, Credit: HKChannel
Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net14y1i6u.png39 year old Sammy Leung recently made his debut in a television series. His first TVB series, Friendly Fire, premiered last week. [FACE] reporter and photographer especially did a photo shoot with Sammy designed to bring back the old cops and robbers 'flavor' and the set of photos serves as the theme for this exclusive interview.

Sammy is also a well-known DJ, so in the photos, he plays two roles, one as a police officer and the other as a DJ. Of course this was a challenge for him, but Sammy isn't your average DJ. He joined CRHK at the age of 20 and by age 25, he was already the most popular radio program host. Sammy wasn't just a DJ long ago, he also worked as a scriptwriter, composer, the lead vocalist in a boyband, a stage play actor, stand-up comedian, film actor, television host and in 2007, he wrote and directed his very own romantic series Colours of Love. In addition, he gained 10 pounds for his police role in Friendly Fire, so he can show off his muscles and do passionate kiss scenes with his on-screen partner. Sammy, you are the Chokest DJ in HK Radio history.

Sammy grew up in Kwai Shing West Estate, and currently lives in a luxary home in Kowloon Tong with his wife and two kids. His son is 10 years old and his daughter is 6 years old. His wife drives a Benz, his son goes to La Salle College, [FACE] asked Sammy, his parents must be proud and honored that their son jumped from Kwai Shing to Kowloon Tong and he's good at everything? Sammy recalls his mother kneeling to St. Francis of Assisi's Caritas School and his father putting a plastic bag over his head pushing their broken car in the rain just so Sammy could get to school at La Salle on time. Sammy starts tearing up every time he thinks about that, and several times he cried so much, he couldn't speak: "So bad... when I'm asked to cry during filming, I can't get my tears out. The things my parents done for me, I may not be able to do the same for my children, but I'm always forcing them to accept my views...I'm not my parents' pride, my thoughts are strange. I feel ashamed." Sammy's father was a firefighter, and worked part-time as a taxi driver to take him to school and his mother was a housewife.

Thomas Edison & Albert Einstein Just Like Me, ADD!

At 3pm, [FACE] sat with Sammy at Shek Kip Mei's shopping mall to continue the interview, but Sammy's mouth couldn't stop running and his eyes just kept looking all over the place. Sammy said 5 or 6 years ago, his doctor said once he sits down, his eyes never stops moving and he can't sit still and suspected he has ADHD/ADD. Sammy said: "The doctor said I'm definitely not good in school, I said no that's not true. I was very good in school. The doctor said, 'Then you must be naturally talented!' Wahahah...so as I would say, those with ADHD/ADD, don't be discouraged, Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein was the same as me, ADHD/ADD!"

Sammy expressed: "The concept I believe in, many people from HK don't believe, that is to be hardworking. You must be hardworking, eloquent and have confidence in your acting. It is all from training. Because I'm a DJ, everyone thinks I'm a good speaker, but actually the challenging part is writing articles. I've been a DJ for over 10 years and the things I say each day are all from a written script; I designed every gag. Being a MC or host, I've accepted these jobs, big or small, over my 10 years in the business, and acculmulated the experience from countless flaws. I'm not good at telling jokes, but I watch and rewatch Dayo Wong's Standup Comedy shows over and over again, I take the jokes from other people and came up with a formula and then design the jokes based on that formula. Every night, I go to Lan Kwai Fong with friends and tell the jokes to people I don't know. If people don't laugh, then I go home and make modifications! Having to be a Chok actor, I never thought I could do it. When Paco Wong signed me, I told him I want to be Ng Mang Tat, but he said to me, I must set my goals higher. Goals shoots at the moon, while the moon shoots at the stars, but it is possible there will be missed shots at the stars, so that's why he gave me the lead actor role in My Sweetie!"

At the coffee stand, Sammy praised the female boss' cup of coffee, and that she should be like Moses Chan, have a Coffee Confidental Series. In turn, the female boss praised Sammy, "You're more handsome than Moses Chan!" [FACE] asked Sammy, advancing into the TV industry, does he want to be a Moses Chan? Sammy denied: "At this age, I already done what I could do. Even if I could do something, I already tried and really can't do it. I don't have much motivation to start, but actually thinking of retirement. I just participated in one series, can that bring me to the next level? Where else could I go? What place is like the TV station, we can be working nonstop, day and night for 3 months? After I completed this series, I think I won't be in another series in the next few years."

Biggest Regret: Didn't Take Graduation Pictures with Parents

Sammy's birth name is Leung Chi Kin. He graduated high school with a high score to enter famous school New Asia College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After graduation, he was recruited by the School of Journalism and Communication. After studying at university for one year, he was hired by CRHK after participating in the Chik Chak DJ competition.

"Many people think its great to be a college graduate and think college is the most important part of life. However, in my first year of college, I already joined CRHK and it was an eye-opener for me. It changed my views on life. I knew the world was big, studying is not the only path to success. Even if I'm the only one who went to college in my family, among my friends and in my neighborhood, but I don't think it's anything big. I even forced my parents to think like me. So, wearing the graduation hat and participating in the graduation ceremony, I never took a picture with my parents. I didn't even tell them to go to the graduation reception! I started regretting 16 years ago, that I never taken a graduation picture with them. I remember in kindergarten, my mom was at the entrance and once she saw the principal coming, she got on her knees and exclaimed, 'Please accept my son into this school!' My grades were pretty good in first and second grade, my father transferred me to La Salle. The day of the admission test, it was raining hard and my father's taxi tie blew out. I was sitting in the car watching my father put a plastic bag over his head and started pushing the car to the gas station...my mom kneeling to the principal, I felt so embarrassed, I just kept telling her to get up, 'If I don't go to this school, then I'll go to another one!' My father transferred me to the school and because I was new to the school, I didn't have any friends, so I was upset at my father for a very long time..."

Sammy continued: "In the past, I thought parents are obligated to care for their children, but now I'm a parent myself, I understand that isn't true. My son got into La Salle on his own, I have never knocked on the school's doors. Classmate reunion parties, I don't want to go, but my wife forces me to go. I see other parents, after talking to the principal, their hands and feet shakes...those parents are a certain age and are big business people, but for their children, their hands and feets shake. You think my mom didn't know it's embarrassing to be on her knees in front of the principal? Everything they did was for me, they knew it wasn't good, but they still did it."

"I am ashamed, I'm a parent myself and I may not do the same for my children. I'm the son and I'm always forcing them to accept my views. I remember in college, I chose to study journalism, and my mom asked me, why didn't I choose to be a doctor. I just refuted back at her, saying 'I don't like it'. Everything they did for me was just so I could go to a good school and get into a good university, but in the end, I didn't even let them go to my graduation ceremony."

In college, Sammy been in two relationships, but it wasn't until after he entered CRHK and met Veronica that he found true love, married her and had two kids. Sammy said: "Let me tell you something, its very funny. I went with my wife to see the doctor, and while we were waiting for the bus, she was looking at flyers related to ADD. Then she said to me, 'Fickleness! Is that a disease? Its talking about you!' I answered her, 'I'm ill, but I don't want to... those people say once married, then won't look at another woman, that is such a lie! I know I'm an unfaithful person, that's why when I go out, I close the door and won't let any woman have the opportunity! I don't want trouble. A man must think of the outcomes, he can control whether he makes mistakes or not. However, my thoughts really can't be controlled, so I always write love stories, radio dramas and produced Colours of Love, so I could satisfy my imaginations!"

Sammy said he doesn't try to be romantic, nor does he try to please his wife. Each day, he doesn't say "I Love You", but rather "You've gotten older!". The only thing he would do is to give his entire income to his wife to handle and that's already a thousand words said: "Of course I'm grateful, there is a woman willing to accept my weaknesses and give up her career to handle everything around the house for me. She treats our kids pretty good, taught them to be so well-behaved!"

Sammy Leung is in the current new series Friendly Fire, it was said he has a "foot addiction" (foot fetishism) and loves to secretly take pictures of actresses' beautiful long legs. Yesterday he responded to the rumor, "I'm not a psycho." He frankly expressed he was frightened when he saw the report, "I didn't know it was such a big deal, I didn't know what was foot fetishism. I only take pictures when I take they look good and I get their consent first. I even send the pictures back to them. I don't put them online and show the world. I know what pictures can be taken and what cannot be taken. I'll just think of this as promotion for my series, but I feel sorry for getting the leg pictures all wrong. (Who has the hottest legs?) Of course Sharon Chan." He also admitted his wife was upset because she became the media's target and was worried this would affect their children.

TVB series Friendly Fire has broadcast half of the series. Following Toby Chan and Christine Kuo's sexy scenes, Sharon Chan's enticing wet bra scene and Sammy Leung's nude bathing scene becoming heated topics among Netizens, last night's episode was about Michael Tse and the drunken Tavia Yeung in an apartment. The two engaged in a two minute sex scene. Michael sacrifices for art once again and gets his shirt taken off by Tavia, while Tavia had a wet tank top on.

Friendly Fire's producer Man Wai Hung expressed Tavia and Michael's sex scene was not a 'heavy flavor' arrangement, but instead it is to convey that the two are struggling mentally because Tavia's character has a family history of breast cancer, and thus broke up with Michael.

The two-minute scene included flashbacks of the couple, the so-called sex scene didn't even take up one fourth of the time. He reveals took only 1 take because by that time, their relationship already made a lot of progress and so Michael and Tavia were already well into character.

Producer Man said the scene clearly explained the plot and the two artists freely developed the scene themselves. No parts were cut, the camera rolled straight through and completed in 1 take. Audience can really feel the effects of their romance.

He revealed this scene ended with a funny effect of the police checking their IDs. There were no erotic or vulgar elements on camera, the background song is called Friend by Japanese singer Tamaki Koji, which has become the couple's theme song.

Friendly Fire continues to have provoking scenes including Samantha Ko's rape scene, Producer Man said this story leads into Michael having to help Samantha in court and is absolutely not a story about rape. In the coming episodes, there is Grace Wong getting involved in Michael and Tavia's relationship as the third party and Alice Chan and Derek Kwok's passionate kiss scenes.

Source: Oriental Daily
Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.netl3un4.jpgLast year former ATV big sister signed a contract with TVB and participated in her first series Friendly Fire as a villain. This is Alice's first villain role, in the beginning Alice's acting wasn't as strong as one would wish. Her character name is "Pong Tit Sam", which can easily be connected to someone who has a heart of steel. Alice's personality in real life is exactly the opposite of her role, she said: "In reality, I don't really have much of a character and I'm easy-going. Comparing me to the words 'bad person' is like on two extremes, so I had to do a lot of homework prior to filming. On the surface, I have to show that I'm not really that evil, but in fact I'm so evil the juice comes out. I actually don't know how well I did in my acting, so will have to look to see how the audience reacts. I'll accept both positive and negative comments."

Alice also has several sexy scenes in the series. She has a chain of intimate kiss scenes with Derek Kwok, aside from the passionate kiss scene on the cruise in a bikini, Alice reveals there is another bold kiss scene in the bathroom. However, due to the limitations on television, that scene could not be broadcast. She said: "Actually, I never thought I could be sexy, but for work, I definitely have to accommodate. (Have to ask your husband?) He respects my job and understands that I'm a person who has propriety. So, he is not worried about me at all. One time when I was having dinner with my husband, we encountered Derek Kwok and I even told my husband that he's my boyfriend."

Alice's scenes won't be broadcasting until later, sometime in January, she laughed and said her first appearance would be pretty aggressive, "It's somewhat similar to Sharon Stone from the film Basic Instinct. She'll have a sexy image, but speaks in a calm manner!" Alice frankly expressed since she's a villain, she is ready to get scolded by audience. However, she is also grateful of Producer Man Wai Hung's appreciation: "That day, I went to TVB City just for a meeting, but once he saw me, he said the role really fits me and recommended TVB to sign me. I really have to thank him, for every scene, he personally came out to supervise the set." When asked if she's afraid the audience may have a set image on her for being villains? She said: "I hope my villain roles will give off different feelings and on different levels."

Last night, the cast of Friendly Fire Michael Tse, Sammy Leung, Sharon Chan, Samantha Ko and Christine Kuo attended a dinner gathering. January birthday girls, Sharon and Samantha, celebrated their birthdays at the dinner as well. Before the series aired, Michael and Christine's 'car sex' scene was already made a hot topic online, this time screen captures of Samantha's rape scene has been circulating online and become a heated topic on discussion forums. Christine, who had been through the same experience, expressed "There are many male artists in TVB envying Ronan Pak (played the rapist). Many people asked me if Samantha had any clothes on for that scene, everyone wanted to be Ronan Pak. (Then do you want to be Samantha?) I can give it a try too, but must tell my family first! I don't know if I can do what Samantha did."

Earlier Sammy admitted he suffered from inherited depression and it was rumored he had foot fetish. He denied having foot fetish. He said 3 years ago, his depression was already getting better, and not what the report said he started having depression 3 years ago. He said: "I got depression because of too much pressure from work! (Did you take your children to check with the doctor too?) Yes, the doctor said everything is okay."

Yesterday Tavia Yeung, Sammy Leung, Sharon Chan, Samantha Ko and the rest of the cast of TVB series Friendly Fire attended the promotional event. At the promotion, the cast played "The Best Sleeping Look" game. Sammy suddenly did a handstand and revealed his big belly, then he forgot Sharon's name and got teased by the MC Jack Wu: "You're not just depressed! You have dementia too!" Sammy was having so much fun and played hard, he later gave Michael a big kiss too.

Samantha Ko (Ko Ling) rape scene will be broadcasting on Wednesday, when the female lead, Tavia Yeung, was asked if she stole her limelight? Tavia generously said: "It's her debut rape scene, it's good there is noise from the public." Tavia and Michael's two minute sex scene was also a big hit, Tavia laughed and said that night, she tricked her mother out to dinner and prevented the mother-daughter from watching an embarrassing scene together.

Ko Ling guaranteed her rape scene won't be one second and said many colleagues are extremely curious on how the scene will play out. As for when she was filming the scene, she said only the necessary staff remained in the studio. She just revealed her back, everything in the front of her body was covered, even her belly button couldn't be seen. Also, the costume staff took great care of her and covered her tightly before the cameras rolled.

8cgz1.jpgTVB series aren't just "once you've seen one, you've seen them all", but its just the same actors and actresses in all the series, causing audience to get confused on what they're watching.

There are no ideas, no people at TVB. Recently, the two current series Missing You and Friendly Fire, artists like Patrick Dunn, Rosanne Lui and Mary Hon appear in both series. The most ridiculous is Mary Hon, she portrays the same role, a mother looking for her biological son in both series. Last night, Mary admitted she was Sammy Leung's biological mother in Friendly Fire and tomorrow night, she'll again meet her biological son, Jason Chan, in Missing You. The same actress finds two of her biological sons within a week, is it because TVB is running out of ideas and artists?

Reporters contacted Mary last night, she laughed out loud and said: "It's just a coincidence, last time Law Lok Lam died 5 times in one night." When speaking of the same old, overused and repetitive stories in every series, Mary said: "There isn't much of a difference. Actually both series were filmed at different times, but it was just a coincidence that the two series were aired at the same time. I have no control over this, we (artists) are very passive. However, I remember many years ago, when they come up with the TV schedule, they won't let the same artist appear in two different series at the same time because this may cause a confusion." When asked why she didn't let TVB know that the two series had the same story? She said: "Nope, that sounds like I'm challenging them. Also, an artist would not want to miss an [job] opportunity. If the two roles are about the same, the artist will have to enrich the role themselves and hope the acting would differ. If they cast you in the series, it wouldn't make sense for you not to do it!"

TVB's "Friendly Fire" has been trying to gain ratings through crude scenes, including Samantha Ko's rape scene and Alice Chan's seduction scenes. However, the decision only further worsened the drama's ratings and was dubbed as "tasteless and crude".

According to Popular Asians website, ratings for the 26-episode drama have dropped one point from 27 to 26 last week, and the drama has received various criticisms along the way, especially regarding its countless attempts to use sex to gain viewership.

In response to the criticisms, producer Man Wai Hung said, "Throughout the 20 episodes or so, we showed numerous sexy scenes, yet so much attention is given to the rape scene. As people kept talking about it, in the end, the show has become nothing but that, although in actual fact, the rape was implicit and we did not show much."

Man Wai Hung also defended the mentioned scenes, saying that it is used as "a prelude to the turmoil between the characters".

"The main story behind the rape scene is very true to real life. There are indeed people who would resort to all means to get what they want, yet it is the uphill task of a prosecutor to bring these criminals down legally. We hope that viewers are able to get the main gist of this plot," the producer concluded.

In related news, "Friendly Fire" will be ending its run with a 2-hour finale on 19 January.

Since TVB series Friendly Fire started broadcasting, it has been a hot topic. Last night, the series finale aired, it was a happy ending for the two main couples, Michael Tse and Tavia Yeung; Sammy Leung and Sharon Chan. The main villain Alice Chan got the consequences she deserved. In the series, Alice had been selling her "female charms", just like Sharon Chan's beautiful long-legs, Christine Kuo and Grace Wong's long career lines, and Samantha Ko's back-revealing rape scene. Up until last night's episode, Alice gave it all she got and revealed as much as she could.

Before the series aired, it was said Alice didn't have much screen time. It turned out she didn't just have a pressuring first appearance in the series, but she also showed a lot of her body figure and became a hot topic of discussion. In one scene, where Alice was dressed in a bikini to entice Derek on the yacht, the two were kissing on the deck until they got into the shower. She even revealed her back in the bed scene. Netizens praised she was extremely hot. Last night, Alice accepted an interview and said: "Thank you! Actually, its all superficial! I thought my first time portraying a villain was very difficult. I had to kill Benz Hui by running him over, then frame Derek Kwok and convince myself that all of that was reasonable and really turn into a true villain!" She laughed and said she successfully frightened the bystanders, they had "O" expressions on their face and immediately bounced back!

Audience points out the Most Unrealistic Parts

Also, it was said several scenes in Friendly Fire were unrealistic. First, Benz Hui was on a bike and moving faster than a car; After Benz got hit by the car and was severely injured, he was still able to get back up and ride his bike home; Benz didn't burst out blood and collapse until he got home to see his family. This was named the most ridiculous part in history.

Recently, veteran actress Mary Hon's popularity has been on the rise. She is practically seen in every TVB series. The audience really have to have good eyes to be able to distinguish which series is which.

A Netizen posted screen captures of all the series in which Mary Hon has been a mother abandoning her children. She was named the "Most Heartless Mother" -- Sam Tong (Francis Ng) in Triumph in the Skies, Ken Ma (Joe Ma) in Vigilante Force, Tong Tong (Kate Tsui) in Speech of Silence, Yu Jai (Tavia Yeung) in The Hippocratic Crush, and the latest being See Hing (Jason Chan) in Missing You and Kam Bo Tei (Sammy Leung) in Friendly Fire.

[Excerpt from an article by Yang Cheng Evening News] In a Mainland interview, the reporter mentioned Mary has been acting for many years and portrayed so many different characters, sometimes the roles get repetitive. Mary was asked whether she had a time where she felt exhausted? She said: "I've been with TVB for so many years, and have tried every type of role, such as a drug user, a vegetable lady, a rich wife and other villain roles… of course there will be a bottleneck period. I would think, why am I portraying the same role over and over again? Is it because I can only portray one type of role? But even if the roles are the same, there are still differences. For example, a mother reuniting with her son. One mother is a judge, and the other mother is an Alzheimer's patient. The performance is definitely different. It is the artist's responsibility to let the audience see the differences in each role." The next question was whether Mary ever thought of leaving TVB? She said: "I'm getting older, so I place heavy emphasis on friendship/relationship. I've been with TVB for so many years and they have treated me well. Damian Lau greatly influenced me on this aspect, he said I grew up in TVB and when TVB is a crisis, I should stay in the battlefield and help them fight. This is very reasonable." ________________________________________

Last night Sammy Leung, Sharon Chan, Alice Chan, Derek Kwok, Louis Yuen and the rest of Friendly Fire's cast and crew watched the finale and had dinner together. The cast hopes for a sequel. The refreshing new pairing Sammy and Sharon has been well accepted by the audience and attracted several advertisers. Sharon disclosed Sammy earned a lot more milk money due to this series. Sammy admitted: "This series has brought me a lot more jobs and endorsements. I'm still discussing with one advertiser right now and got over HK$1 million income." He joked and said he's currently stealing TVB Siu Sang's 'rice bowls' (jobs), "Sharon got a slimming ad too, we're all getting a lot more income." Sammy suddenly called Sharon "mother", he said she takes care of him like a mother and teaches him how to pose for pictures.

Just Have to Beat ATV

After the finale aired, Netizens said there are lot of unrealistic scenes in the series. Sammy expressed his support and said the story line is reasonable, he said: "Perhaps Benz Hui took the bus or taxi home?" He also does not mind, Inbound Trouble getting all the attention. He said: "We took away The Confidant's finale limelight! That's how it is when a series replaces another series. Don't we just have to beat ATV?"

The other pair from the series, Alice Chan and Derek Kwok, had a chain of intimate scenes. Alice was asked whether her husband was upset seeing those scenes? Alice laughed and said her husband hasn't watched the series, "I'm not afraid that he'll get jealous, he already knew about how intimate we get before shooting. He is a professional viewer. (You and Derek had even more intense kiss scenes on the yacht?) A lot of it were cut, perhaps the producer saved the cut scenes in his own private collection. It would be best to release Friendly Fire Director's Cut, share the good stuff with others." Netizens praised Alice's hot looking body figure in the bikini scenes, and that she hasn't aged much. Alice laughed: "It was so difficult for me, I didn't eat for several days! It is because I didn't have any confidence, so I have to keep fit!" Derek expressed he had high expectations on their very intimate scenes and joked: "I don't think there will be anyone asking us to participate in a CAT3 film!"

Tavia Yeung's Car Accident in Mainland

Also, lead actress Tavia Yeung was absent from the dinner gathering because she's working in Mainland. Yesterday morning, she attended a marathon at The Chinese University, but she laughed and said she has zero athletic skills. Asked why she doesn't work out with boyfriend Him Law? She said: "Girls don't have to do physical training. Even if I have a private trainer, I don't have a private training room! (Did you watch Him's Young and Dangerous Reloaded yet?) Not yet! I'll ask him for tickets, we don't have to go together." Since Tavia missed the dinner celebration with Friendly Fire's crew, she said she had to work in Mainland that night, but did pitch in some money. She exposed she got into a car accident in Mainland, "The front bummer is damaged. At that very moment, I was scared, but luckily nobody was hurt. What I feared most was being late to the event." When speaking of Friendly Fire's unrealistic scenes, such as breast-feeding in the courthouse? She said: "TV series will always have goofs. What the series was trying to convey was, even though she's a strong female lawyer, she still has a heartwarming side. Benz Hui's bike chase scene, I think under an intense situation like that, it is possible. When someone is anxious, they can lift up a bus with their hand."

34E Samantha Ko (Ko Ling) successfully gains recognition in the entertainment circle. Since Samantha participated in Miss HK in 2008, she had been the goddess to the "HK Golden brothers" (from the popular HK Golden forum). When attending public events, Samantha is often requested to dress sexily and show off her nice body figure.

In her latest TVB series Friendly Fire, it was the opportunity for her to change her image. She even had a rape scene in the series, which caught a lot of attention. Ko Ling said without concealing: "I've long had the desire to portray this type of role and series. Of course I'm not talking about the rape scene, but I really wanted a role that I could really develop on. Usually being somebody's girlfriend, there's only on way to present that." If Ko Ling gets a role where she can display her acting skills, then she doesn't care whether there is a rape scene or not.

Goes to Thank Producer in Tears

Ko Ling's rape scene attracted heavy attention from the media and audience. Results, the 6 slap and back-revealing rape scene became the main part of the series promotion and a hot topic on the internet. The "HK Golden" boys highly anticipated this scene. Fortunately, the scene got positive response. She said: "Many people said the story was touching. At first, everyone focused on the rape scene, but later people started feeling the mother-daughter, mentor-student relationships. This proves the storyline was able to touch the audience."

Ko Ling's greatest weapon is her sexy body figure, but she actually hopes to wash this image away and let everyone get to know her all over again. Ko Ling's blood and sweat acting was her first step in accepting challenges. She is very grateful of Producer Man Wai Sing for casting her in this series. Ko Ling said: "People always say no matter what role it is -- a mistress, lover, girlfriend or crazy HK girl -- Ko Ling gives off a sexy feeling. But when the producer and scriptwriter watched me on the food programs, they can see the real Ko Ling actually isn't like that. At the time, I went to the producer in tears, finally someone can see that I'm not the way people think I am. It was that type of happiness when someone finally discovers the real you. I thanked them in tears." Ko Ling was finally able to put her chest away when she went for the costume tryouts.

Kiki is similar to the real Samantha

Ko Ling had resonance with her role (Kiki). Kiki's personality and family background is very similar to hers in reality. She said: "Kiki is somewhat similar to me. She grew up in poverty and lived in a rooftop hut before. When I was young, I really did live in a rooftop hut before. I struggled before too, so that's why I worked really hard in school and relied on myself to change my life. When I was portraying Kiki, it was easier for me to grasp her mentality." Ko Ling reveals her father saw her performance and ended up with teary eyes as well. She said: "Kiki's mother has a street stall, which is very similar to my mother in real life. My whole family watched this series and felt sympathy."

The controversial series Friendly Fire finally pulled down its curtains, but Ko Ling actually feels pressured, she said: "I'm currently working on two new series Will Power and Unrequited Love for Two Cities. When this series got such strong feedback, I'll be happy if the audience thinks I improved, but I don't want them to think I'm not improving. This becomes pressuring for me. My greatest hope is to get one series after another. I really anticipate a "Most Improved Actress" award nomination at this year's TVB awards based on my role in this series." ________________________

Former Mr. HK contestant, Ronan Pak, gain recognition based on his villain role in Friendly Fire as Samantha Ko's rapist. Since that bed scene with Samantha, his popularity was on the rise and he got a lot more job opportunities! Ronan admitted: "Indeed, I got a lot more job offers and have a stable income. I think I'll be busier in the coming days." His next 'goal' is TV Queen Tavia Yeung. He praised Tavia is evil enough and hopes to have an evilness competition with her: "The deepest impression I have on her was her performance in costume drama Beyond the Realm of Conscience. Usually, you see her in very positive roles, but you really can't believe that she could be so evil! As for myself, lately a lot of people have praised me because of my villain role, so I really want to learn from Tavia and play opposite of her!" Ronan wants to compete with Tavia on evilness, he sure has the guts!

When speaking of shooting another rape scene, Ronan shook his head. He said he's afraid the audience would feel bored watching him as a villain again. He hopes to have more opportunities to try different things in TV series, "I don't mind being a villain again, but I think that might bore the audience. I want to try different types of roles, so audience can see that I have the acting skills." However, Ronan is longing to try something innovative, he frankly expressed he really hopes to shoot a musical TV series and protary a role where he can sing and dance. He said: "Actually all along, what I really wanted to do most is musicals. We always see these type of series in Western countries, but its rare in Hong Kong. I feel this would definitely be a good and refreshing attempt. It can be done!"
