  1. Looking at those pics make me realized of how I missed seeing her at a magazine spread. She's always such a great model so it's a pity she's rarely taking a mag photoshoot now. By taking this (photoshoot) project I hope we will be seeing her often in the same project (not jus for CF). But what will make me happy is, when she announces her new acting project. I'm still waiting for that day As always thanks for the updates everyone
  2. Actually I find it interesting that among GY's ex co-star YEH's name is mostly mentioned compare to his other ex co-star. It seems many people still want them to be paired on another project. But for me it's just a testament of how superb their chemistry was BTW, watching the video of YEH's photoshooting for her cafe "by Grace", it almost gave me a heart attack when she showed up with a new hair style on one session. I thought (at first) she cut her hair (not that the style is bad for her). But at the end I knew that's just a wig lol. Silly me Thanks for the updates guys
  3. I'm sorry to say that the website was already closed down a few years ago by the administrator (@Fresh02) because of lack of fund & his busy activities. It's a pity since it became a home for most of YEH's fans including me I hope someday someone will create another YEH's home for us *Praying* And here is a recent news about YEH on Korean portal, talking about a phenomenon of the rising of YEH's star (in Korea & China) as the impact of hit drama "Goblin/Dokkaebi" popularity. The journalist called it "Halo Effect". YEH starred alongside Gong Yoo (Goblin's hero) in "Coffee Prince" which was also very popular at the time. http://sports.donga.com/3/all/20170305/83178149/3?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter I hope this is mean that she will get many good offers & announcing her comeback project in the near future
  4. I think the event is true, I've already checked out the site. Too bad I can't go there since the place is far from where I live. Maybe someday... Btw, there is an article in Korean portal highlighting the top 10 most beautiful women in Korea which is seen by Chinese people. YEH is among them. http://www.asiatoday.co.kr/view.php?key=20170224010016660&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter The list including Song Hye Kyo, Jun Ji Hyun, Yoona, Hae Won?, YEH, Han Gain, Son Ye Jin etc. The survey is conducted by Yanukuso Bao (People Daily). They`re also mentioning that beauty isn't equal to popularity since Krystal f(x) isn't been included (on the list) despite her popularity in China.
  5. Yes I think so. It means the movie can be showed in China after the "green light". Not all of Korean (or Chinese-Korean) production is banned there. It's depend on many factors including the actors reputation/popularity in China. I remember YEH got praises from critics on her acting in After Love. I forgot where and when that was. Go to the page 2666 in this thread. A post by @santaiah178 Hi @avidneri1003 how are you ?
  6. I understand your concern regarding negative comment toward YEH but I assure you that it's not an unusual thing. Every time she announces her new project there're always negative comments on her article especially since she was an idol before (it's more harder ) But it's true that after the so called "scandal" her haters seem doubled. I think it's not a shock considering it's "Korean netizen" we're talking about (they're very sensitive even to a tiny mistake, especially when the "culprit" is an actress). You don't have to worry much about it cause it will naturally stop/lessen as long as she give her best performance (acting skill) or her project become a hit. Song Hye Kyo is a good example. When they announced that she's a female lead in DotS the majority of comment were negative. But it's changed now after the drama became a major hit. My only wish is that YEH has a knack to choose a good project for her comeback in term of plot and crews. As for the timing, like you I also think she will announce her next project after opening her coffee shop in Thailand on March. But on the otherhand I think making project on the early second half of the year it's reasonable enough since the (drama) schedule (on TV stations & TV cables) for the first half of the year is already full @Kuppies82 I miss you too and our convo
  7. Wow so many updates from her Instagram lately, hoping this is a hint of her comeback in the near future Since yesterday many Korean medias are posting her Instagram (the video of her in the car) saying that she will return (to dramaland/movieland ?) this year Thanks you all for the updates
  8. @asteria1003 not just you, that's also how I feel when there're announcement of casting for new drama @kwoneunhye it could be lol cause the timing seems convenient (I'm not a shipper too) @alwayspretty welcome to YEH thread sis. Feel free to post anytime
  9. So at least now we know why she still didn't announced her comeback project yet since she's so busy preparing her new coffee shop in Thailand. I'm glad for that cause she does the things she loves. But I hope she doesn't push aside her main job as an actress because that's what made her famous in the first place. Besides many of her fans all over the world are missing her and waiting to see her onscreen... PS : I'm surprised that she names her coffee shop "by GRACE" not "Jacob's Leader"
  10. I'm happy her movie will finally be released. Looking forward to it Meanwhile... http://www.hancinema.net/hot-takes-from-the-noonas-ten-years-after-coffee-prince-where-is-yoon-eun-hye--102469.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  11. @asteria1003, I'm glad you found YEH through Coffee Prince. That's also the drama that made me became her fans years ago. Actually, I saw her first on "Goong" but her acting on CP has left deep impression on me. I always thought she's a very talented actress and she can go far (on her career) with her acting skill. So it's always my concern that she took less acting project in past years compare to the other actresses. I really really hope (and praying) she will keep her promise to take new project this year. Regarding your question about those videos, yes the guy with blonde hair is Lee Min Ki. I believed he has had a crush on YEH lol PS : And yeah I also miss the days when this thread was so alive with so many people posting their comments
  12. YEH is very private when it come to her personal life. So you won't get any juicy info about her love life. There're several rumors about the guys she has been dating (including KJK, GY and ex-member of Click-B Oh Jong Hyuk ) but she never confirmed it. But if you're her long time fans you will know what I'm talking about Funny things is the two ex-member of Baby-VOX, Shim Eun Jin & Lee Hee Jin (on separated interviews), said that YEH will be the next one (among them) who will get married after Kim Ez. So my guess is that they know what we don't know
  13. Yes @asteria1003, @Nakiami Kyoko is right. YEH used to be actived on Twitter, but not anymore after she's been bullied because of something she's posted. I remember YEH's fans have had to reported several twit accounts just because they're always bashed her. Like I said before, it's not easy to be her fans @kwoneunhye, despite having colaboration in a magazine photoshoot before YEH never show her friendship with TOP publicly. So I don't know if they're really close. But she knows G Dragon for sure since he's a friend of her younger brother.
  14. Thanks for the pics, but I think these are old photos since she's not the model for ST anymore. Nevertheless she looks pretty here Regarding "Bride of the Water God" I think they will go for a younger actress as female lead considering NJH is still young (22 yo). I'm actually surprised they pick him for the male lead since it's not easy to portray a complex character like Habaek. Anyway, this article is about YEH's dramas JAN 05, 2017 | 05:29 AM EST 6 Classic K-Dramas That Launched Korea's Biggest Stars And Helped Spread The Korean Wave The Korean Wave is experiencing a massive resurgence after hit 2016 dramas like "The Descendants of the Sun," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," and "Goblin" have captured million of hearts in Asia. This resurgence has placed Korean dramas back in the limelight once again after a slight decline or 'slowing down' in the last few years. If you have been a fan of Korean dramas since the advent of the Korean Wave, then you would definitely remember the classic dramas that played a great role in popularizing Korean dramas in Asia and the rest of the world. Here are some of the classic dramas that you should definitely binge watch courtesy of Koreaboo. PRINCESS HOURS Set in an alternate modern-day Korea, "Princess Hours" tells the story of the Korean crown prince Lee Shin (Ju Ji Hoon), his commoner bride Chae Kyeong (Yoon Eun Hye) and the challenges they overcome together as the future rulers of Korea. Princess Hours was so popular that the producers developed a spin-off series, "Prince Hours," while also catapulting actress Yoon Eun Hye into Korean Wave stardom. COFFEE PRINCE You probably know Gong Yoo today as the star of the hit TV series "Goblin" and the critically acclaimed film "Train to Busan" but what you probably didn't know is that "Coffee Prince" was the show that launched him as a leading man and Hallyu star. Coffee Prince also made Yoon Eun Hye as the highest paid actress of 2007. Coffee Prince tells the story of a tomboyish woman named Andy (Yoon Eun Hye) who dresses like a guy and lands a job in a coffee shop owned by Gong Yoo's character, Arthur, who subsequently falls in love with Andy. The series in itself contains homoerotic elements which makes it all the more interesting. Source : Kpopstarz
  15. Thanks a lot for new updates about YEH. Especially from newcomers. @GoodInfluence @yooneunhyetn, thank you very much for your effort. I hope all these updates is a sign that YEH will comeback with her acting project, just like what we're waiting for all along...
