Actors Kim Rae Won and Kim Ah Joong have both confirmed for the newSBS legal drama “Punch.”

A drama representative said on November 1 that the two have been cast, and that they had their first script reading on October 31. “Punch” will be the first drama appearance in three years for both actors, Kim Rae Won having last starred in 2011′s “A Thousand Days’ Promise” and Kim Ah Joong in “Sign.”

“Punch” is a legal drama portraying the last six months of Prosecutor Park Jung Hwan, the investigative chief of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office, and juxtaposes justice and corruption in the legal world. Kim Rae Won will be playing Park Jung Hwan, who changes his way of life once in the face of death, and Kim Ah Joong will be playing Shin Ha Kyung, who is seemingly perfect but has difficulty winning Park Jung Hwan’s heart.

“Punch” will air sometime mid-December following the conclusion of “Secret Door.”

I can't wait to see this drama punch. KRW will shine well, I wish him all the best. Lee Tae Joon is a good actor him and our prince KRW have acted together in three dramas already. They have good team work. Wish the entire team the best of luck. I am sure it will be an awesome drama. I can't wait to see more of KRW oppa:)))))))

Kim Rae-won is seemingly different.

His first drama in 3 years, SBS "Punch - Drama", is raising expectations on the actor.

Kim Rae-won's "Punch - Drama" first started filming at the SBS Ilsan production house. Park Jeong-hwan (Kim Rae-won) and his henchmen brainstorm to make Lee Tae-joon (Jo Jae-hyeon) the Public Prosecutor General in the first episode. This scene brings out Park Jeong-hwan's head-first character where he always gets what he wants.

As a result of working day and night, Park Jeong-hwan becomes an investigator and compromises with injustice for a bigger success, but in the process, he loses many things and gets injured.

Kim Rae-won is said to be very attached to his character already.

Meanwhile, "Punch - Drama" is a bloody drama about an investigator surviving the 'jungle-like' world. It will be on aire in December after "Secret Door".
