SYNOPSIS

Insudaebi unravels a story about Queen Insoo and Deposed Queen Yoon, dreaming of stepping out of their social positions as females to become the greatest power holders of the Joseon dynasty by forming both good and evil-intentioned relationships with the first ever Queen of the Joseon dynasty, Queen Junghee.

Director Lee Tae Gon Says, “Ham Eunjung and Baek Sung Hyun May Go into Headlines”

Director Lee Tae Gon, who currently directs JTBC’s series Queen Insoo, indirectly praised T-ara’s Ham Eunjung and Baek Sung Hyun.

Lee attended a press conference for the series, which was held on November 24 in Seoul, and talked about Do Won-goon (played by Baek) and Insoo (played by Ham)’s love story.

Lee made people laugh by jokingly saying, “Ham and Baek may go into headlines soon. The rumors about their romance may spread.” Baek gave a witty answer, “Thank you.”

Lee made people laugh once more by saying, “They are like bread and butter and make me jealous. So I’m going to get the two away from each other.”

The series is about the struggle for power between three Queens: Queen Insoo, disposed Queen Yoon, and Queen Jung Hee.

The series includes 50 episodes in total and the first episode will air on December 3 at 9:00 p.m.

T-ara’s Eunjung and Baek Sung Hyun in Queen Insoo: “Do we look like a married couple?”

T-ara’s Eunjung is getting married with Baek Sung Hyun.

In the first episode of JTBC’s Queen Insoo (written by Jung Ha Yeon and directed by Lee Tae Gon) that will air on December 3, young Insoo (played by Eunjung) and Prince Dowon (played by Baek Sung Hyun) are getting married.

Queen Insoo is a historical drama about three women in a royal family of Chosun – Queen Insoo, an ambitious woman who desires to become a man of power in Chosun as a woman, Yoon, a disposed queen of misfortune, and Jung Hee, the first Great Queen of Chosun – and their tangled relationship.

Especially, this drama talks about Queen Insoo’s childhood and Prince Dowon’s first love, which were never mentioned in dramas before. For this, Eunjung and Baek Sung Hyun keep getting attention.

On the set to shoot the wedding scene, a newlywed bride Eunjung seemed shy in front of Baek as Prince Do Won and Baek couldn’t hide his excited feeling, according to reports.

Eunjung and Baek, who looked good together like a real married couple, enjoyed acting together. At a production report conference of the drama, director Lee Tae Gon even said, “They really enjoy acting together that we are even jealous of them. I’m nervous that rumors of their romance might happen.”

Baek also said he felt sorry for Lee Jang Woo, Eunjung’s virtual husband in MBC TV’s We Got Married.

On their wedding night, Prince Dowon stays still not knowing what to do, whereas Insoo shows her daring personality by showing her head to Prince Dowon and says, “My headpiece is so heavy.”
