It has been revealed that actress Go Ara recently confirmed her role in the upcoming film “Joseon Magician” to star alongside actor Yoo Seung Ho.

“Joseon Magician” was officially announced to be Yoo Seung Ho’s very first comeback project since finishing up his military service at the beginning of this month.

On December 21, a representative of the movie’s production company, WithUs Film, revealed to TV Report, “Yoo Seung Ho and Go Ara both confirmed their casting in ‘Joseon Magician.’ Yoo Seung Ho will take on a magician character, while Go Ara will take on the role of a princess who gets married off to China during the Qing Dynasty. The two will act out a loving romance story. Other actors, including Lee Kyung Young, Park Chul Min, and more will add to the fun. Please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, the cast and crew of “Joseon Magician” are expected to begin filming this coming February.

Kwak Do-won confirmed to be in 'The Joseon Magician' as role of trainer for Yoo Seung-ho

Actor Kwak Do-won has been confirmed to be in the film, 'The Joseon Magician'.

On January 9th, a source related to the movie confirmed Kwak Do-won chose 'The Joseon Magician' as his next work. The film will start filming sometime in the first half of this year.

He will take on the role of trainer for Yoo Seung-ho and act the evil character. He perfectly constructed the wicked characters of prosecutor Cha Dong-yeong in "The Attorney" and Jang Dong-sik, the private moneylender in 'Tazza: The High Rollers 2' last year.

He won Best Supporting Actor award from the 34th Korean Movie Critics Association Awards for his role in"The Attorney" and has been receiving multiple offers for various movies so far. As 'The Wailing' directed by Na Hong-jin is on a roll completing the last stages of filming, 'The Joseon Magician' will be able to start filming sometime in the first half of this year.

'The Joseon Magician' drew much attention by casting Yoo Seung-ho and Ko Ah-ra as the leads. It isYoo Seung-ho's first movie after he was dismissed from military service. Director Kim Dae-seung of 'Bungee Jumping of their Own' and "The Concubine" will direct the movie. The film unfolds a series of events following the Joseon's top magician falling dangerously in love with a woman.

@irilight yes i also looking forward to the movie update. Since it will start filming later in this first semester, i assume the movie will realesead later in the end of the year or maybe next year. Hope it wouldn't be that long for us to wait.

Actress Jo Yoon-hee joins the movie 'The Joseon Magician'.

Jo Yoon-hee's agency King Kong Entertainment said on January 19^th, "Actor Jo Yoon-hee has been cast for 'The Joseon Magician', which is a highly anticipated film in 2015. She will show unexpected qualities unlike the typical sweet aspects of hers".

Jo Yoon-hee will play the role of a beautiful blind kisaeng, older sister of the Joseon's top magician, Whan-hui (Yoo Seung-ho) who grew up with him since childhood and is excellent at embroidery as well as a great conversationalist.

Wow! YSH is back!!! I miss him! He is a good actor. I watched him in Missing You, Arang and the Magistrate and Queen Seon Dok. They are now coming back! Hoping for Song Jong Ki to make a comeback too!
