Korean actor So Ji Sub will end his one-year drama hiatus with an upcoming web dramaGood Day.

A drama official confirmed, “The drama began filming in Jeju for about two weeks and the rest of the scenes will be shot in Seoul. We’re aiming for a premiere this year (…) and we will be exporting it to Asia.”

While no visuals have been revealed, it has been reported that actress Kim Ji Won will co-star with So Ji Sub. “Thanks to So Ji Sub’s immense popularity, we are expecting to attract attention from Asian countries such as China, Japan and South East Asia in general,” the official expressed.

So Ji Sub starred in the wildly popular SBS drama Master’s Sun last year, for which he received the Top Excellence Award at the channel’s annual year-end awards ceremony.

The 37-year-old released 18 Years, a solo EP, in June this year in which he showcased his talent in rapping. The actor also embarked on his Let’s Have Fun tour to meet his fans, which took place in cities such as Singapore and Hong Kong.

Good Day has yet to confirm its broadcast details.

Excited much....will it be like "U-turn" perhaps or maybe "I am Ghost"....no matter because whatever role SJS will play it is just a joy that we will finally see him on screen...its interesting to note too that SJS has chosen this web-drama-type-role as his next project...I am amazed....hmmmm...
Okay, looking forward to seeing "A Good Day" soon, possibly early in the New Year.??.......Interesting to see and hear more about the other characters/actors, storyline and new role....It is also fantastic to hear that "A Good Day" will be received in other Asian countries....WOW!..Good luck and Congratulations...FIGHTING!!!

I'm really happy that Jisub-nim is very open to new acting challenges. That's what a great actor would do. He can play a role greatly no matter what it is. No news of the drama synopsis yet. But surely will be a nice role. Enough reason for that is he accepted it. Looking forward to this drama.
