Sweet stills of actors Kang Ha Neul and Kim So Eun on the set of the recently released film, “A Girl Ghost Story” have been revealed.

The film is about a lonely boy who is able to see ghosts. He meets a girl ghost who lost her memory and builds a friendly relationship. From the ghost story of a bloody mask that’s been spreading around the school to his classmates going missing and unwinding the secret that involves the girl ghost, this is an emotional horror film.

In the first still, Kim So Eun is smiling brightly in front of Kim Ha Neul with her hands on his shoulders. In the film, Kang Ha Neul plays In Soo who has the ability to see ghosts and Kim So Eun plays the girl ghost with secrets. The lovely atmosphere between the two actors reminds of the innocent and fresh romance between In Soo and the girl ghost.

The two actors have been friends for a long time as they have attended the same university. The atmosphere between the two would make anyone question whether they’re friends or lovers.

Meanwhile, “A Girl Ghost Story” was released on July 2.

in the trailer he says he can see ghosts and that his girlfriend is a ghost!he asks her if she went to that school but she says she doesn't remember it,maybe because she is a ghost now but i think she lies..they say a Mask ghost hunts the school that looks alike a girl who comitted suicide..the hero asks the ghost girl if she knew why the girl Sae Yi died and she says she never was curious about that because all knew why she did it(most likely bullied?)

Mourning Grave tells the story of In-Su (KANG Hanul), a high school student who has been running from his gift (or curse), of seeing the dead. Returning to his hometown he’s troubled at his school by bullies and new ghosts. As always, In-Su tries ignores these spirits hoping that he can lead a normal existence until he meets a nameless female ghost at his school who doesn’t want anything from him other than to have someone to talk to. When students start to die at his school, it’s up to In-Su and his new ghost companion to solve the mystery and make things right.

As with OH In Chun’s short films, Mourning Grave is beautifully shot and has great pacing in its narrative. Mourning Grave highlights the social issue of bullying in schools, something that has been dealt with in a multitude of Korean films over the last decade. Playing on a lot of Korean senses of Horror, and true to the concept of ‘Genre films’ at The Pucheon International fantastic Film Festival (Pifan), the film crosses genres with elements of comedy, romance and drama. Thus the film is great gateway for film fanatics who are weary of watching Horror films. “I wanted to make a film that was accessible to an audience of not just horror fans but those who are nervous to watch horror” OH In Chun commented on his film at the Pifan.

KANG Hanul (강하늘) and KIM So Eun (김소은) in their lead roles will no doubt be a big draw card for many fans of the Korean wave whilst HAN Hye Rin (한혜린) andPARK Doo Sik (박두식) fit perfectly into their bullying characters. Yet it is KIM Jung Tae (김정태) who grabs the most attention in his comical portrayal as In-Su’s paranoid ghost seeing uncle. The film fulfils every criteria needed for a summer blockbuster in Asia with its, love story, asian style ghosts and humor but it’s these exact traits where the film falters with its inability to break out of the mold making it some what predictable yet still a fun ride. Just enough laughs and jumps to keep you interested but lacks the chills to make it a real ‘spine tingler’.

Released on July 3rd it’s currently screening at Pifan 2014.
