An attorney for Pitbull has accused Lindsay Lohan's attorney of plagiarising legal briefs, it has been reported.

Lohan filed a suit against Pitbull after the rapper used her name in a song, claiming that the name-drop reflected her in an unflattering light, and demanding compensation for the use of her name.

The line in question is from Pitbull's collaboration with Ne-Yo on 'Give Me Everything', in which he raps: "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."

Pittbull's attorney Marcos Daniel Jimenez is now accusing Lohan's lawyer Stephanie Ovadia of stealing her legal briefings from online sources, reports E!.

In a court document Jimenez maintained that: "[Ovadia's court filing] mostly consists of plagiarised excerpts of articles found on various websites without explaining their relevance to the facts and issues in this case.

"The opposition fails to meaningfully address the arguments raised in [Jimenez's motion to dismiss]... and reveals a lack of independent research."

Jimenez has gone on to provide side-by-side examples of Ovadia's filing and articles from publications such as the Los Angeles Times.

Pitbull, who recently announced he will be providing music for the Men In Black 3 soundtrack, maintains his innocence in the case.

Lohan is currently dealing with other legal troubles, as the victim in her alleged hit and run case has stepped forward demanding $100,000 in damages.

Honestly, Lindsay hasn't been too flattering in the limelight for so long now that this song coming out a few months ago really made no impact because even without it people still view her as how the media portrays her: wild-party-animal-addicted-in-and-out-of-rehab-celeb.
