Fishbone In Throat.

It's been there for like...3 weeks? ;_;
And I can't get it out.

I've tried

-Banana(LOTS of them)

-Rice lumps

-Rice cakes

-Choking on food so it'll go down

Nothing worked. It's stuck. I thought it went away, but it's still there. And it hurts sometimes. :(

Anyone know what to do? I'm pretty desperate now. Is it gonna have any bad effects? >o<

Maybe the fish bone isn't stuck there anymore and all you're feeling is the damage it made it your throat. I know I had a fish bone stuck once but when I went to the doctor, they said it was already gone and after a week, I didn't feel anything anymore. I think maybe in a couple of days, your throat will heal and you'll feel better.

I'll drink two cups of water like really fast or my mom would just pat me on the back really hard (it hurts) that's why I don't eat fish with bones

Try eating starchy foods like bread. (large pieces that should push it down)

It's a concern to know that it's been there that long. ><

I can imagine how annoying it would be!

I'm hoping that it goes down soon.

Possibly, it might be a small scar in your throat, from the fish-bone and you could be just feeling that pain when food passes that scar.

Bread. I remember I got a chicken bone stuck and it hurt so bad that I forced myself to throw up :(. That didn't do anything. My friend then told me to eat some bread and it helped.

omg. just about a week ago I was eating a peppermint candy and swallowed the thing

whole, i thought i was going to die .. but then it was just stuck there in the middle of my

throat ... i kept feeling like i wanted to throw-up/burp but the thing was blocking my

passage way. I drank like a whole thing of pepsi but it didn;t go down, I swallowed really

hard ... nothing. Finally a burp kind of came up and dislodged it a little but & I ate & it went

down ... but it HURRRT going down ... :tears: I know it's scary, but .. as long as it's not

chocking you, it'll go down eventually.

Don't worry too much about, this exactly what happened to me years ago and I did the same exact thing you did. Don't over think about it! That's what I did and I nag my mom into taking me to the childrens hospital that night and it was hell of a waste of time and money when the doctor said it was just a scratch from the fishbone.

Drink some vinegar. I think the white one. It will dissolve the bone.

Sometimes might actually be gone already but the cut is there, so you keep thinking its still there.

Gack. The longest I've had something stuck in my throat was thirty seconds, and it was a piece of a Dorito.

That does sound scary. I don't have any advice to give to you, but to get it checked out by the doctor.

you can have someone look in your throat to see if its still there, my mom has a tendency to get fishbones stuck in her throat once every few months...and i always have to look and ply em out w/ tweezers.

if any of these advices dont work, then i say go see a doctor asap

you can have someone look at it for you or go to a doctor.

when i was a kid i swallowed a fish bone and it cut my throat a little bit on the way down

so every time i swallowed i felt something and i thought it was there

i went to the hospital and they looked at it and nothing was there.

The longest I ever had a fishbone stuck in my throat was like 5 hours and that was already horrible

so I don't know how you mananged to go through 3 weeks! It must be awfully painful. ><!

I recommend you to go to the doctors and let them get it out. That's what I did. He used some sort of tweezer thingy.

;D
