Crooked Knees/legs...

is this norm [pics included]
So, its getting warmer and i want to wear (short) shorts and skirts... but the only thing im worried about are my legs

The knees always stick in...and they umm..cramp together? im not sure how to describe it but people have asked me if they were swollen or something -_-

and because of that i always thought my legs were kinda crooked, especially when i stand with my feet together, the sides of my calfs stick out ..

when i walk, sometimes my knees touch..so is that normal?

im not really a "balanced/coordinated" person so maybe that has soemthing to do with it?..but then again i have flat feet -_-

Images of my legs, the top part is cut off becuase it looks normal =], only the bottom part looks weird

sorry, i dont know how to make the images appear right on the forum

So i have links =]

taken ..downwards?

Feet apart

Feet together

taken...not downwards?

Feet apart

Feet together

i dont think the images show it much but it kind of curves like an oval when my feet touch.

back of legs

sorry its confusing :sweatingbullets:

[edit]

I decided that it doesn't matter if my legs are liek this lol, it is just way too hot not to wear shorts in the summertime

no idea this thread was still alive after a year, but it'll be here for anyone thats curious =]

thanks for all the replies =]

My friend is like that, its quite normal.

I notice its more common with girls who start wearing heels at an early age.

when you put your knees together, are your feet touching as well?

if they're not, then you're knock-kneed. nothing you can really do about it except do exercises to stretch the muscle on the outer sides of your knees (tie feet together, stick a light cushion between knees and do squats).

legs are straight if your knees and feet touch each other when standing comfortably.

it seems you have the O-Shape legs, but not severe (just like 1st 2 pics), your toes are not facing each other

Yeah, I guess. My mom told me that babies are usually carried on the mom's back, tied up and everything so often the legs get messed up-- so when I was a baby my mom said she didn't do that and massaged my legs so they would come out straight.

i think some ppl call it bow-legged....

i sorta have that, not as much as you, but when i put my knees together my knees-down dont touch, like they kinda curve away from eachother, just slightly.

its very normal, usual hereditary

I have 'em too... but I got over the fear and started embracing my asian legs. XD

Lmao. Not all asians have it... but still. Sometimes, I wish I had straight legs but yeah...

Live with what we've got. :/

EDIT: My theory is that asian food doesn't contain enough dairy products... therefore we have the most bone problems. ._.

I don't think lacking dairy products leads to this though.

I always had to have ALOT of dairy food and i stilll have these legs.

Not severe though. Yours isn't that bad, i've seen a lot worst.

my mom told me about how she was so careful when she was carrying me cuz' of that.

your legs don't look bow legged to me.

it's kind of like your knee caps are inward, as if you were meant to be pigeon toe'd.

i knew a girl with this same issue.

she went to some sort of physical therapy and her knees are normal now.

i have that but you cant really tell because my calves arent very 'big.' people tend to assume that the 'gap' is from having skinny legs (my thighs are HUGE though)
