I believe if a drama is entertaining, that's all that matters not its logic or loopholes. Don't you find it amusing that most crime dramas portray the police as incompetent unless its main plot is centered on the force? I sympathize with JY's decision to distance herself from DH. It's a big sacrifice she made to keep him away from harm as well as any involvement in that shady world. Besides, she never knew DH was privy to her disgraceful secret and was resolved to keep it buried. She probably felt she had no choice but to leave him. Lastly, I am also curious why the baddies aren't threatened by DH. In reality, they would've killed him off already for his constant interference. They have killed many so far, killing him would've been no problem.
President Kang is more suspicious of SJK than ever. According to the preview, he asked SJK why all the people he requested be brought to him alive ended up dead. As you said, let's hope JY escaped unscathed.
@jongski, I too love Cruel City. It made me an instant fan of Jung Kyung Ho in which I found his character sexy and charismatic. Also hoping writer-nim will keep JY alive at the end especially since DH mentioned he can't live without her. Otherwise, it'll just be too sad.
@Iclarakl, Ikr. So far SH hasn't kept any of his promises to her. Not taking care of her family nor their debt in return for playing the role of EH at the beginning all the while threatening to kill her for not obeying his wishes. Add in a murder and numerous attempts of other murders so WTF was she thinking of???? As the idiom goes, "Fool me once, Shame on You but Fool me twice, Shame on Me."
Can't wait to watch next episode(s)...we know all hell will break loose with no holds barred. DH will become meaner and badder as he goes for his revenge. Full of anticipation for those fighting action scenes. Enjoying this drama tremendously even though its plot has it loopholes. It's giving us one hell of a roller coaster ride. Too bad it's underrated.
Having just watched the episode subbed, I sincerely hope JS has something else up her sleeves. I just couldn't understand why she left that letter to MY informing her of the plans to implicate SH for murder. JS knew MY's obsessive love for her husband would deter her from harming him and surely enough, MY tore up that letter and blocked the police and reporters from being present at the scene of the crime. So what purpose did it serve? It's just not logical. Would someone kindly explain the rationale behind this???
