Japan’s AKB/SDN48 girls turn into VIPs at Big Bang’s concert!

On May 13th, AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko and Shinoda Mariko along with SDN48 member Sato Yukari made their way to Chiba’s Makuhari Messe for Big Bang’s “Love & Hope Tour 2011” concert.

Maeda blogged the most about it, showing off her VIP (Big Bang’s fanclub) gear. Being in the top girl group in Japan can be tiresome and even these girls need some down time for some relaxation and fun. Maeda posted, “Mariko and I were particularly fired up!! It was the best way to relax. I’m very thankful to BIGBANG.”

After the concert was over, Shinoda and Sato went to fellow AKB48 member Kojima Haruna’s house to eat curry, but Maeda had to return back to work.

At the start, TOP was chewing on chewing gum, very handsome.

Jiyong faced the camera and do all sorts of funny faces.

During Tell me goodbye, TOP was rapping and then Taeyang came very close and TOP had a shock.

Today, Jiyong still seem in pain, but he continue to dance while frowning.

He also blew a flying kiss over, he threw his sweaty teeshirt to the crowd, i wonder which lucky kid got it.

He wore a yellow hat during Love Song.

TOP said, TOKYO DON’T CRY! It was so touching.

He also said something about buying coffee (the person couldn’t understand) before singing cafe.

He also said it was warm today.

Haru Haru fancam Aww these concerts are so emotional after all that happened in Japan. The songs are already sad to begin with but now its like they have a new and sadder meaning.

Today, Jiyong still seem in pain, but he continue to dance while frowning.

Hes really fighting through it all hope they at least giving him some form of painkiller.

{FANACCOUNT}OSAKA ''Love&Hope'' Day - 2 

Today was the 2nd day of the Osaka concert and it was raining even more heavily than yesterday. While I was waiting for the concert to start, I talked briefly with the VIPs behind me. I was lucky and got BIGBANG’s signed CD and even took pictures.

Last night, the Japanese blogs posted pictures of the empty spaces people saw on the left side of the arena and a lot of people were worried that tickets weren’t selling well. I asked today and found out the spaces were reserved for disabled people, and it was not for sale for the public. Tickets for the concert were on sale in 3 places and they were sold out within a few minutes of its release. Even though it rained heavily today, but a lot of people without tickets still lined up hoping to buy some and there were a lot of people buying official goods. Keke don’t worry! ^^

When BIGBANG did their intro, the order they came out was Taeyang - Daesung - Seungri - TOP - GD and they immediately sang ‘Tonight’. GD did his guitar smashing again but it was different from yesterday’s because he threw the guitar to the right side of the stage (yesterday he threw it to the left keke). 

Somebody to love - How Gee - Number 1 - Top of the World <-same order as yesterday’s, then it was Seungri’s solo followed by Taeyang’s (I remember he wore a white tshirt inside his jacket last night. Today’s was black). Daesung’s solo was next. A foreigner male fan that sat next to me had already stood up by then keke. After that, it was GD & TOP’s stage. They wore different outfits today!

GD wore a dark pink suit, cropped pants that stopped at his ankles, and a pair of short black boots (Looking at his ankles then watching him jump around the stage made me amazed at how cute and handsome he could be keke). TOP was wearing a blue suit. They performed Knocked Out, Oh Yeah (GD took off his sunglasses here), and then High High. After the Jibe Kajima MV was over, only the 3 vocalists came back out to sing A Fool’s Only Tears. They didn’t sing this yesterday. GD & TOP came out after that. 

Tell Me Goodbye - Let Me Hear Your Voice <—during this song, TOP held the hands of the VIPs on the 2nd floor while he was singing (was it because the fan didn’t let go? Hm I couldn’t tell since I was sitting quite far from that area). After Top of the World, it was MC time. When GD asked the crowd (in Japanese) if everyone was happy tonight, we all went crazy. It’s funny because GD & TOP’s Japanese aren’t that good but their first sentence made us scream so loud. I was right, because after GD said that, that was all the Japanese we heard from him keke. TOP tried to talk a bit more in Japanese along with both Seungri and Daesung and he attempted to do it with a Kansai accent…we could tell he had his humorous side to him too keke, but we didn’t understand what he was talking about. Poor guy kekeke.

When GD sang Cafe, the background was so nice. They had stars and meteor showers falling as the backdrop and the light only focused on GD. Everyone was very quiet during this performance so we could only hear his voice. It was so beautiful. When they sang Haru Haru, all the members came out once again and sat on the chairs but the fans on the 2nd floor near the stage could barely see them. GD turned his chair and faced them during the last part of the song.

Lies - Love Song Making Film - Love Song - Stupid Liar. Their outfits were the same, except GD wore a yellow baseball cap today. Lastly, they sang Hands Up on the extended stage and the area where the members stood rose up. GD and Seungri sat down with their legs dangling off. It looked a bit dangerous and I was worried. When the song was over, they all went backstage and it was time for the fans to sing Heaven for the encore. 

The encore was Gara Gara Go and Heaven and all the members ran around the stage while singing because it was the last concert in Osaka. Taeyang was near us at one point and he took off his sweater and threw it to the first row. A girl caught it and her & her mom were so excited. They immediately put it in their bags. After the concert, 2 fans went up to them and asked if they could touch the sweater..and even took pictures with it! I wonder who caught the towel that GD threw out…!

On tonight’s encore stage, GD kept crouching down to check his leg. Even though he was sweating so much but watching him jump around everywhere made me so happy ^^. BIGBANG was so full of energy but now I’m a bit worried for them. After resting for a day, they have to continue with their concerts in Chiba. I hope the members all take care of their health!

I watched  Big Show earlier in the year and even though I’m not a music specialist but if you were there at Big Show, you could tell that there was a big difference, from GD & TOP’s rap to Daesung’s Baby Don’t Cry. I have to be careful with my words but I can sense that there was more interaction with the fans and BIGBANG at Big Show. The feeling was just a bit different tonight but this is my personal reflection so it’s hard to describe. No matter what, I still liked tonight’s concert keke.
