Used search and couldn't find a thread on them, I think they deserve their own thread Only 56 days till release (14th September- UK) of their new album; The Resistance!

Who else here likes them? Anyone else got tickets to go see them?

Thought I'd start this since their first song that's being release off the new album is nearly complete (See musewiki for more info: Treasure hunt) - It's pretty awesome and insane how they're releasing it, with an epic world wide treasure hunt!

The treasure hunt is brilliant, 4 minutes till the New York key is up for grabs. Wonder what they will do.

I want them to activate for Collateral Damage but I also want to find out what happens if we don't!

been waiting years for the new album.. i just hope its going to be good!

i'm not too keen on USoE though, sounds too queen inspired not going to judge the whole album on one song but meh i prefer OoS days!

+ i'm just jealous that i didnt get tickets for birmingham's gig ;_;

I was once listening to Radiohead and realized they sounded the same.

Then I read they were inspired by Radiohead. Lol.

However, Muse is awesomee.

I really like Muse, the guy's voice gives me chills (in a good way). Now a lot of Twilight fans think they're the s*** though and it kind of makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Then I read they were inspired by Radiohead. Lol.

However, Muse is awesomee.

I think Muse is more rocking and Radiohead is more chill. But I can see where the inspiration comes into play. They're both amazing. <3

I really like it, rather over the top and it's going to be mint live. I too prefer OoS days but I don't think they'll ever go back and it's nice that they're always trying new things rather than making the same style over and over!

I don't think they sound alike at all apart from the early stuff like Showbiz. The only similarity to me now is their voices and the fact they both use falsetto.

I love the vocalist's voice. I don't listen to Muse much, though I do have their albums, I have a friend obsessed with them. Hysteria's my favourite song. I know it's old but yeah hahaha

Twilight is just terrible, they're probably going to be in the next film as well which sucks. Guitar Hero isn't as bad, if people become a fan from Guitar Hero it'd be okay cause they won't be stupid vampire loving teen girls

I love love love Muse! I didn't know their new album was coming out so soon! I remember hearing that it was going to be electronica? Hah, if anyone, they could be able to pull it off.

I think this album is going to be more classical than anything, there is some electronic creeping in though. I remember reading that Muse have got quite a few styles going on with lots of different songs on there.

Really excited for the 3 part 12 minute symphonic song that ends the album!

listening to usoe now...not sure i'm a big fan of it but it might grow on me like supermassive black holes & their previous album. i loove the piano part though . the messages and lyrics from the songs are a refreshing change to listen to. & matt bellamy is amazing <3 i saw them live b/c luckily i was in the midwest aka 'middle of nowhere' in USA so there were still tons of tickets left....but now thats working against me. frgin amazing livee

God, I love Muse! I love the singer's voice, and all their songs are great, their music is just awesome.
