Borat director Larry Charles is adapting a GQ article about a US citizen who decided to launch his own hunt for the terrorist, according to The Hollywood Reporter.



Cage will play construction worked Gary Faulkner, who made several attempts to sneak into Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The semi-scripted film is expected to diverge from the original narrative.
Charles also directed Sacha Baron Cohen in Brüno and The Dictator.
Cage was most recently seen in Dying of the Light.
