Mannosuke
Some doctors recommend at least an arms-length between you and your computer monitors.Others call bluffs and much literature has been written claiming that this is a myth.I typically put a nice distance between my monitors and myself cause it gets pretty straining on the eyes if it's too close. Daniel_Kim
I think it should be more than an arms-length for sure.

this_isl0ve
I have to sit close to my computer screen because I can't see it otherwise. I can watch tv from a distance, but I can't read text.

Guest ko2000
I try to keep at least arms length from my computer. I use it on my desk so that I don't have it really close to my eyes. I read somewhere that the reason why your eyesight gets worse when using a computer well one of them is that you blink less, and consequently rub your eyes. Thus I try to keep a good distance away and look away once in a while to focus on other stuff in the room. Tv's I like to keep at least 5 feet away from me. Guest mackyhyung
Depends on what I'm looking at: If it interests me, then I'll get really close. If not. then I'll just go with normal arm length.
