Secret’s Han Sun Hwa, 2AM’s Jinwoon, Han Groo, and Yeon Woo Jin All Confirmed for New Drama “Marriage Without Love”

Secret’s Han Sun Hwa, 2AM’s Jinwoon, and actors Han Groo and Yeon Woo Jin have all been cast to star in tvN’s new Friday – Saturday drama titled “Marriage Without Love.”
According to a broadcast representative on May 21, the casting for all four of these stars has been confirmed. Earlier this month, news of Honey Lee’s casting confirmation was released for the same drama.
This upcoming drama was formerly known as “Anticipate Marriage,” but the name was recently changed to the current title. It will be airing after the completion of “Gapdong,” at the end of this coming June.
“Marriage Without Love” is written by the same scriptwriter as KBS 2TV’s “Expect Dating,” which starred BoA, Choi Daniel, and ZE:A’s Im Siwan, as well as the same producer of dramas including “Brain” and “Haeundae Lovers.”

So in an effort to get his family off his back, he decides to bring home a girl they’ll never approve of. It’s not the most sophisticated or rational plan, but perhaps he’s seen a lot of dramas.

The hero is an introvert who always prefers to be alone, and is so abrasive on every single blind date that his family sends him on that he always ends up with water splashed on his face for saying something rude. His initial connection to the heroine is an unpleasant one but he somehow convinces her to play his girlfriend in front of his family. Of course the fun is that a contract relationship is never just an act.

Drama “Secret Love” Starring All Five Original Members of Kara to Air in June


Omnibus drama “Secret Love,” starring all five original members of Kara, is set to air in June.
The drama will be aired on DRAMAcube starting on Friday, June 13 at 10PM, and will air weekly for a total of five episodes. Each episode will feature one of the following couples: Goo Hara and Kim Young Kwang, Han Seung Yeon and Yeon Woo Jin, Park Gyu Ri and Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ji Young and Bae Soo Bin, and Nicole and Lee Kwang Soo. The drama will tell the stories of five different first loves.
In other news, Nicole and Kang Ji Young withdrew from the group earlier this year, and Kara is currently recruiting new members through their show, “Kara Project.”
Nicole is preparing for her solo debut, and Kang Ji Young is abroad studying in London.

One year after his death, Ji Hye decides to jump from an apartment rooftop out of her feelings of guilt. But when she arrives at the 7th floor, she finds herself back to the time when she was 7 years old. When she arrives on the 22nd floor, she is 22 years old, the time when she met Hyun Woong for the first time. Ji Hye decides to attempt to save Hyun Woong from his destined death.

Yeon Woo Jin, Han Groo, Jinwoon, Sunhwa, Heo Jung Min, Yoon So Hee, Kim Young Wook, Kim Hye Sook, Lim Ye Jin, Kim Kab Soo, and more showed their good teamwork throughout the script reading for episodes 1-4 of the drama.

“Marriage Without Love” Has First Script Reading


Pictures of actors script reading for the upcoming drama, “Marriage Without Love” has been revealed.
tvN’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, “Marriage Without Love,” will air its first episode during July and the entire cast gathered together on May 30 at the CJ E&M Center to begin their first script reading.
“Marriage Without Love” is a story about Joo Jang Mi, played by Han Groo, who wants to get married and Gong Ki Tae, played by Yeon Woo Jin, who doesn’t want to get married. It’s a romantic comedy drama that shows both characters playing hard to get.
Gong Ki Tae is the perfect man that any woman would ask for, however, he is unwilling to get married, despite pressure from his family.
He plans to make his family members give up on the idea of marriage by introducing Joo Jang Mi as his girlfriend, knowing they wouldn’t approve of her. The two characters form a dating contract and the romance between them begins.
Han Groo, Yeon Woo Jin, 2AM‘s Jung Jinwoon , Secret‘s Han Sunhwa, Heo Jung Min, Yoon So Hee, Kim Young Ok, Kim Hye Sook, Im Ye Jin, Kim Kap Soo and director Song Hyun Sook attended the script reading.
The casts’ passionate acting could be seen within the pleasant atmosphere as the script reading covered the first four episodes.
Han Groo was very detailed as she continuously wrote notes on the script. Jung Jinwoon showed a mysterious charm for his character while Han Sun Hwa captured the eyes of many through her presence.
The first episode of “Marriage Without Love” will be aired on July 4.
