Kang Ji Hwan and Yoon Jin Seo will appear in the movie, "Shoot The Sun" to be directed by Kim Tae Sik. It is a road movie with anarchistic leanings where the protagonist, Kang Ji Hwan is residing in the United States illegally and Yoon Jin Seo is a femme fetale character and both would be drawn romantically. Other actors include Ahn Suk Hwan and Park Jung Min. The location shooting would be held in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Filming would end in July. The movie is scheduled for release at the end of the year.

Se trata de una road movie con tendencias anarquistas donde el protagonista, Kang Ji Hwan está residiendo en los Estados Unidos ilegalmente y Yoon Jin Seo es un personaje Fetale femme y ambos serían atraídos románticamente. She takes on the role of femme fatale Sara and has left for the US on the 25th.

[sports Seoul Great l gimhanna News] Actress Yoon Jin Seo was cast as the female lead of the film, "Shoot The Sun". 
Yoon Jin Seo's agency FNC Entertainment announced last June 27, 2013 that the role of the actress would be that of a femme fatale. Kang Ji Hwan has been cast as the male lead. Yoon Jin Seo left the country to shoot the movie in Los Angeles, USA.

Yoon Jin-seo’s been hanging out on this side of the Pacific a lot lately. She’s got her movie Santa Barbara with Yoon Sang-hyun that wrapped not too long ago, and now she’s back to LA for a new road movie with Kang Ji-hwan, called Shoot the Sun. These two should make for a well-matched pair, so I think we’re in for some good chemistry in the romance department.

The new film from director Kim Tae-shik (Tokyo Taxi, Red Vacation Black Wedding) hasn’t released much information about its plot (or… at least I hope that’s the case, since otherwise a movie with no plot sounds considerably less exciting). But it’s an all-location-shoot road movie to be shot Stateside, and Yoon Jin-seo recently headed to LA to begin filming.

Her character is described as a femme fatale, so I guess we’re not headed into comedy territory, which is a shame since they’d be really cute in a rom-com together. Yoon Jin-seo’s been shooting lots of movies, but the last project we’ve seen her in is the tvN drama Twelve Men in a Year, which seems like forever ago now. Kang Ji-hwan is recently coming off of his drama Incarnation of Money, and will hopefully be returning to dramaland soon.

Shoot the Sun is shooting now for a release later this year.

Kang Ji Hwan (born March 20, 1977 as Jo Tae-gyu) is a South Korean actor.

KJH started his acting career in the Korean version of the stage musical, "The Rocky Horror Show" in 2001. He then played bit roles in popular Korean TV Dramas such as Summer Scent (KBS2, 2003); Nonstop 4 (MBC,2003); Youth! Fly To The Sky (KBS2, 2004); More Beautiful Than A Flower (KBS2, 2004) and Save the Last Dance for Me (SBS, 2004).

He started to play lead roles and shot to fame in MBC's 2005 TV Drama Be Strong, Geum-soon!, in which he co-starred with Han Hye-jin. His role in this drama also made him become famous outside Korea, especially in Japan, China, and Taiwan.

Meanwhile, his first movie debut was in an independent movie in 2005 titled "Host and Guest" from the Korean director named Shin Dong-il.This movie was acclaimed both in Korean and International Film Festival, including being shown in the Berlin Film Festival and The 32nd Seattle Film Festival in 2006.

TRIVIA: Aside from having the same name of "Hwan", the two actors who would appear in the upcoming movie, "Shoot the Sun" namely, Kang Ji Hwan and Ahn Seok Hwan, have something else in common. They have both worked together in the past in not just one, but two dramas. The first drama was "Capital Scandal" where Kang Ji Hwan portrayed the role of the famous playboy, Seon Woo Wan and Ahn Seok Hwan plays the role of the Japanese captain, Mamoru Ueda who is always being henpecked by his wife.
