Edited by pprMNTE Attention, Soompiers: I'm in the gradual process of indexing this thread for your ease and convenience. It's huge and takes a lot of work, so please be patient with my progress! Haha, think of this as my holiday gift to you. :sweatingbullets: Here's how the index will work. It will be separated into different categories based on purpose. The name(s) of the product recommender(s) will always follow. A few members gave outstanding reviews for the products, which I noted, so good reviews will be linked after the product name. There are three purposes for this:
  • So you can get a better idea of what the product can do for you.
  • If you notice that you trust one members' recommendations particularly, you can see what else s/he has recommended.
  • You can see how many people recommended a specific product.

Please note that many products are geared toward specific skin types. You need to know what skin type you have and what's better suited for you. Don't randomly try products that have been recommended; research a bit of it first! Also, there have been a few products which received good reviews initially, but the members came back later and recanted their opinions. These products will be listed at the end. If you have a suggestion on how I can categorize this index better, feel free to pm me. But all product recommendations should stay in this thread--don't pm me to add something to the list! This index so far comprises up to 41 pages of the thread, so don't be alarmed if your recommendation isn't here yet. By no means keep this from asking you for more recommendations! I've used Proactiv before and yess it does work.. but once you stop using it, my pimples started popping up again. -_-

I'm still in search for the perfect facial wash.. Right now I'm using Kanebo FiE Clear Gel, just started 2 days ago. It's okay... very gentle I have to say... maybe a little too gentle.

I'm still in search for the perfect facial wash.. Right now I'm using Kanebo FiE Clear Gel, just started 2 days ago. It's okay... very gentle I have to say... maybe a little too gentle.

that is because it's benzoyl peroxide... ur better off jus using benzac instead of paying a lot for proactive... ur skin has jus gotten used to it :S thats why other products wont really work unless its stronger

or going to the doctors for adapalene or something :P coz that'l actualy reduce the amount of pimples u will get.. coz it goes into ur follicle, but since it's topical application, it wont harm ya

do it daily? by benefit..it's a mosturizer/ sunscreen thingie..i can really tell a difference in my skin..

the ultra clearasil system..(the 3 day system) really works too..well it did for me anyway

Proactiv really works, if you stop washing the pimples come back. After a few years when your skins gain resistant, time to switch xD
