Story: Lee Young Ah plays a half korean and Vietnamese girl, Nguyen Jin Joo who marries a korean man 'Kang Jun Woo' (Song Chang Ui) for $1,500 in order to come to korea to look for her real father who had abandon her and her mother as her mother is gradually going blind due to an accident. But upon arriving, she is faced with the problems of facing a mother in-law who doesn't want to accept her at first and a husband who suffers from Obsessive-compulsive disorder after being betrayed by his ex-girlfriend "Ok Ji Young" (Choi Yu Jin).

The bad blood that had began between the Kim and Kang families when Ji Young dumps Jun Woo to marry Kim Young Min (Song Jong Ho) whom she met while being out stationed in States, is even more fueled when Kang Sae Mi (Han Yeo Woon) becomes pregnant with Kim Young Soo (Kim Hee Chul)'s kid out of wed-lock when both of them co-habited after opposition of their marriage from both families.

Meanwhile, Kang Won Mi (Hong Eun Hee) becomes entwined in fate with Heo Dong Gu (Kim Kyung Sik) who was attracted to Sae Mi at first.

Note: Every subs that withS2 put up will all be taken down and there'll be no more subs for the future eps if the uploading or hardsubbing still continues after the third strike warnings issued.

interesting... who's lee young ah??? i've never heard of her... what dramas/ movies have she done??

wow kim hee chul is in this drama... it'll be interesting to see how well he does.... what is his role in the drama??? supporting rite??? who does he portray??

the plot is interesting... kind of reminds of of hanoi bride... but not really..... the plot is different cuz the girl wants to find her dad....

LOL, I thought it was Lee Young Ae as well. Well, the only one I'm familiar with is Hee Chul. And the last time I saw him in Bad Family, his acting still needed much improvement. Hopefully tho he would do well here.

Heechul! I want to see this drama.

Article on Golden Bride. It says Heechul is going to play a college student. He plays a childish youngest son of a family who is enemies with Kang JoonWoo's Family. He is going to be partnered up with Han YuhEun. Heechul is going to show various talents and skills with his role.

두 사람은 SBS ‘연개소문’ 후속으로 오는 7월 7일 첫 방송예정인 ‘황금신부’(박현주 극본·운군일 연출)에 캐스팅됐다. ‘황금신부’는 한국으로 시집온 베트남 신부의 파란만장한 러브스토리를 그린 드라마. 한국 남자에게 시집와 전통떡 사업으로 시집을 일으키는 성공담과 따뜻한 가족애를 담을 예정이다. 베트남 신부 누엔 진주역은 이영아가. 남편인 강준우역은 송창의가 주인공으로 발탁됐다.

드라마 관계자는 3일 “주인공을 맡은 이영아와 송창의가 무게감있는 연기로 드라마를 끌어간다면. 한여운과 김희철은 다소 가볍지만 드라마를 재미있게 이끌어가는 감초역할로 비중있게 다뤄질 예정”이라면서 “특히 김희철은 대학생 역으로 다양한 끼와 재능을 보여줄 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한여운은 드라마 ‘내 이름은 김삼순’과 영화 ‘라디오 스타’. KBS ‘서바이벌 스타 오디션’에서 2위를 차지하며 이미 가능성과 연기력을 인정받았은 신예. 극중 송창의의 동생 세미역으로 신세대다운 발랄함을 보여준다. 김희철은 극중 강준우의 집과 원수지간으로 지내는 집안의 철없는 막내아들로 한여운과 함께 호흡을 맞춘다.

2005년 KBS2 성장드라마 ‘반올림2’와 지난해 MBC 청춘시트콤 ‘레인보우 로망스’와 SBS ‘불량가족’ 등에 출연했지만. 연기력으로는 가수 만큼의 인기를 얻지 못했다. 이번 드라마를 통해 연기자로서 제대로 진가를 발휘하겠다며 단단히 벼르고 있다. 한편 ‘황금신부’는 이번주 배우들의 첫 대본연습을 시작하며. 현재 베트남 로케를 추진 중이다.

was hong eun hee the 'villainess' kongji in "my love patzzi" feat. jang nara and kim rae won?
i was wondering when she'd come back? haven't seen her in other dramas...and i liked how her character was redeemed at the end. will it be a comedy (kim heechul?)
or a daily drama like "pure 19"?

Yes she was in My Love Patzzi. And I think her most recent dramas were the TV Novel for KBS titled 'Wildflower' and the SBS drama 'Tear of Diamond'

According to the article, it will be taken 연개소문 (Yungaesomoon)'s timeslot on Saturdays at 8:45pm. 연개소문 (Yungaesomoon) will have lasted an entire year by the time it ends (July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007), does that mean with 50 episodes "Golden Bride" is also a year long drama???

In the latest Newen articles, it says that "Golden Bride" will start filming mid May. Also Choi Yeo Jin has been added to the cast as a rival for the main male lead's affections.
