Wah! Wow!...the first day of this lunar new 'monkey' year is almost over. Just only the first day though. This  FIRE REDMONKEY is just beginning to buuurrrnnnnn
      First things first...

      >>>WISHING ALL WHO CELEBRATES, A BLESSED, HAPPY & HEALTHY FIRE MONKEY YEAR.<<<
It's been a blast for me on soompi and in general life so far.
I am resolved to make 2016 the beginning of my best years yet! Not by gathering things & stuff, but by gathering more experiences and more friends(real and virtual, or virtual into real!). Experiences enrich and enlighten each one of us, and friends enhance and excite some of our experiences. Just on drama watching alone, be it kdrama or cdrama or any other motion picture, the discussion and shared journey is insightful and oh-so- invaluable.
I am also resolved to continue to  open my mind and my heart to more experiences and more POVs. Lastly, I am resolved to write more and share more. In what form or format will it be? I have no inkling yet but with this expression of intent, I open my mind and my heart to reach out to GOD and/or some higher powers that may be, to inspire and ignite me.
Thank you to each and every one of you who has traveled or are traveling or will be traveling with me on any such journey, be it here or anywhere else on the WWW. 3 or more is never a crowd to me. In fact, the more the merrier
Have a *HOU HOU HOU year!

      PS:
      Homophonically...
*HOU 猴 in chinese is Monkey, and
*HOU HOU 好好 in cantonese/Hong Kong lingo/language, is 'Very Good' or 'Doubly Good', and
*HO SAY 好说/好! in Taiwan/Min Nan lingo/闽南语 or Singlish Hokkien is 'Real Good'. (an expression of satisfaction, an emphasis of 'good!')
Btw, love the meaning behind this 'Three Wise Monkeys' graphic:

Latin influence: To hear, To See, To Be Silent. (Aude, Vide, Tace)
Japanese influence:  mizaru, kikazaru, iwazaru, shizaru.  (見ざる, 聞かざる, 言わざる, 行うざる)
The three monkeys are Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil; and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil. Together they embody the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". (4th monkey being Shizaru "do no evil".)
      Chinese(Confucius Analects influence:
Fēi lǐ wù shì, fēi lǐ wù tīng, fēi lǐ wù yán, fēi lǐ wù dòng (非禮勿視, 非禮勿聽, 非禮勿言, 非禮勿動)
"Look not at what is contrary to propriety; listen not to what is contrary to propriety; speak not what is contrary to propriety; make no movement which is contrary to propriety" (非禮勿視, 非禮勿聽, 非禮勿言, 非禮勿動)
Western influence: “See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil”
In the West, a reference to these 'three wise monkeys' has an opposite effect, a different connotation. In that it is used usually to refer to blatant overlooking of anything evil going on right under one's nose.
NB: Slight modification done to both influences - Japanese 'saru' for 'monkey' to 'zaru', and both Japanese and Chinese versions edited out the 4th monkey, i.e. the 'action' portion.
