it's soo funny because before i was rattling about other Korean stars lke Rain, LDW,LDH,SHK,Eric,Junki etc....then my friend told me... you know that's just a small part of Korean Showbiz..wait till you discover the other big stars like BYJ.. and i wasn't minding him..... but look at me now.. having a crush on BYJ too! ha!ha!

BYJ plans not to attend closing ceremony of 'Hallyu Expo in Asia' to be held on coming March 10.

BOF, BYJ's mangement agency, said "It is not true that Mr. BYJ will attend closing ceremony of the Hallyu Expo," and "Originally (BYJ's contract) with the sponsor was to attend only the opening ceremony as Promotional Ambassador status for the Hallyu Expo so that he would not attend closing ceremony." Since BYJ was known to attend the closing ceremony on past February 1, situation is that there are endless inquiries to his agency about it from fans.

Because of that a public notice "There is nothing decided yet regarding whether or not Mr. BYJ would attend closing ceremony of the Hallyu Expo, and we would like dear family not to confused by articles on his paraticipation in the event that was not confirmed or guessing articles." on BYJ's agency's homepage on 1.

BYJ, being totally devoted to shooting epic fantasy history drama 'TWSSG' at present, attended opening ceremony of the Hallyu Expo that was held in Jeju Island on November 29 last year as an Promotional Ambassador status getting attention from domestic and foreign media and fans. The BOF emphasized that "Not attending at the closing ceremony has nothing to do with shooting the drama, and we are processing it according to original policy."

There are so many who fell inlove with Yong Joon in WLS and I’m one of them too. Just love him as Kang Jun Sang and Lee Mihn Hyeong. I’ve said and written this countless of time, for me WLS is a classic.

I suggest that you watch Hotelier after WLS. In Hotelier he’s a M&A Specialist Frank Shin. This is a much earlier drama than WLS. Then you watch Have We Really Love and First Love. For the rest of his dramas you may check page 1 of this thread.

Yong Joon only made 2 movies so far, “Untold Scandal” and “April Snow”. Hmm, if your above 18 then I suggest that you watch these 2 wonderful drama otherwise please wait when you are 18.

“Untold Scandal” is a period movie wherein he plays Cho Won, a Chosun Dynasty playboy. This movie is adapted from the French movie “Dangerous Liaison”. In “April Snow” he plays the role of Insoo, a lighting director who found out of his wife’s affair after a tragic accident He then had a relationship with the wife of the husband of his wife’s lover. In these 2 movies, Yong Joon showed his versatility by playing different roles.

Currently, Yong Joon is busy shooting his next drama after 6 year. It’s a period drama (24 episodes) wherein he play the role of the Great King. It’s entitled “Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi” or “Legend”. It is scheduled to be broadcasted in May (crossing my fingers) if everything goes well. If you want to read more about the said drama, click here.

Btw, for you want to get to know more about this wonderful man (inside and out), I suggest that you go to page 1 and read the articles written about him.

Last week I blogged about Zhang Yimou’s first day in S.Korea promoting his film ‘Curse of the Golden Flower’. Today allow me to share some interesting encounters from his S. Korean trip.

Because of Zhang Yimou's tight schedule, he only gave us less than two days to promote the film. We arrived around noon on the 18th Jan 07 and departed the following afternoon 19th Jan. Given the absence of Gong Li and Chow Yun Fat, director Zhang was surrounded by media and reporters, without recourse, which meant ultra long interviews for him.

After rambling on about his schedule, allow me to share a few interesting stories. In November 2005, BYJ was in Beijing to promote ‘April Snow’ and requested especially to meet up with Director Chang as he is someone that BYJ looks up to. We managed to organize their meeting as requested. But that day was when the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games mascot figure was announced. Being the head, Director Chang had to be there, so he missed out on joining us (BYJ and Chenweiming etc.) for dinner. Once the ceremony was over, he rushed to the restaurant to see BYJ. BYJ was quite moved.

When BYJ heard that we were coming to S. Korea to promote Director Chang’s film ‘Curse of the Golden Flower’, he called before we even reached the hotel. We then scheduled a time to meet up. At the same time, BYJ delivered flowers to the hotel to welcome us. Unfortunately he was filming a TV drama on that day, our original schedule was in the evening, but there were extra shootings added temporarily. He was trying to get permission from the director to get the evening off but without success. All we could do was to give in to fate. When he confirmed that he could not make it, he called again to apologize and express his regrets, hoping that they will meet up on Director’s Chang’s next trip to S. Korea.

Annyeonghaseyo, I'm in Seoul.

It was busy Monday from early in the morning in Seoul, and it was warm all day.

The filming team came back from Jeju and they started filming on a large scale starting January 30th.

The weather had been very intensely cold in January and it calmed down even though it was for a very short time.

So I think it might help the filming a little.

Bae Yong joon ssi took a break after he had filmed and came back from Young Wol.

It said that he stopped by the gym and he was sweating as he enjoys working out regularly.

It said that Bae Yong Joon ssi will film again in Puyo, Chungcheongnamdo on the 7th.

It is a famous place because it was used to film the historical drama <Seodongyo> by Director Lee Byung Hoon (Daejanggum),

who belongs to <Kim Jong Hak Production>--which is a production company for TWSSG too.

Hi sis liezle. Wasn't able to visit JOB yesterday. Was quite busy with work. Nothing's new except the traffic caused by Joon2007 diary reservation for a couple of days. It's been like this in JOB during first few days of reservation everytime a new product is launched. I finally placed my order on the 2nd day.

Hi sis frances! It's not so cold this year compared to the past years. Still yet to experience the first snow this year. I think this is due to the global warming. As far as I can remember about twenty years ago we've had an average of 3 of 4 heavy snow even in Kanto Area (that includes Tokyo and Saitama where I live).

Still so quiet in baeland! I hope we can see new pictures of the MAN soon!

just watched April Snow... for me it was a good movie...although it's similar to one of Harrison Ford's movie, it's ok.... i prefer watching the Korean version! he!he!

i think BYJ is more goodlooking in April Snow!!!!

i also was able to watch him at KBS last night(his earlier series)... i must admit he's much more goodlooking now that he's older.....
