'11 Years Dedicated Gianna Jun'

With the phrase “I did Elastine,” Gianna Jun created a syndrome in advertisement industry. Since 2001, Elastine and Gianna Jun have continued to be more than business partners.
For a long time, Gianna Jun and Elastine have kept a spirit of mutual help. Gianna Jun created her own brand identity and Elastine kept the 1st place in shampoo industry.

As this dear contract ended recently, Elastine made a tribute advertisement to thank its beloved model Gianna Jun.
Tribute albums have been made pretty often, but there was no such case as tribute advertisement. Accordingly, it caused a big issue in the industry. 
To public, Gianna Jun was ‘Elastine’ and ‘Elastine’ was Gianna Jun. People automatically thought of the other one. Therefore, it was also a hot issue for most of the Koreans who are familiar to the advertisement.

The tribute advertisement was made pretty simply. It comprised of major shots from Elastine’s 12 advertisements and added the following message, “You awoke our hearts, and Elastine could have received such big love because of you. We will always support you.” Through this advertisement, Elastine sent the nicest farewell to Gianna, who built luxurious image of Elastine and contributed to the magnificent development of the brand. When the advertisement was delivered to the actress, she was truly amazed and thanked the company.
The advertisement was made for gift purpose only in the beginning, but it was later aired on TV, attracting attention of every person. As the past 11 years of Gianna and Elastine captured the public again, a new way of marketing made another success.

First of all, the point is that it is the first ever tribute advertisement made in Korea. This new idea of advertisement was more than enough to attract people’s attention. The relationship between the actress and the brand was commercial, but the freshness of this advertisement drove a new type of advertising impact.
Moreover, Elastine could strengthen the brand image as it revealed its true intention of planning, a gift purpose. As the relationship ended in human:human rather than in model:corporate, it raised people’s preference to the company. Gianna Jun, the biggest K-Wave star, certainly played a big role in building Elastine’s brand image. The comment ‘I did Elastine’ left a strong impression to consumers and helped the brand to win the 1st place in shampoo market.

I know it's a pity that goddess couldn't top the chart this month, BUT:

- goddess has topped the chart for 5 consecutive months (from Feb to June), and during which and until this month, she never got less than double digit (she's the only one achieving this);

- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! -

- considering goddess has been involved in controversies... the Bottled water CF and Kloud CF (all related to CFs), it's already a very great achievement that she could still get top spot among artists and overall no.2.  And there is a considerable distance between her and the no.3.

- compared to last month (her score was 10.97, there is an increase in her score this month, to 11.04); THIS IS A VERY STRONG INDICATION THAT THOSE CONTROVERSIES DIDN'T AFFECT HER IMAGE MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO RELIEVED NOW. after worrying for months for her bottled water CF and Kloud CF.

@brycemckinsey Ha Ji Won is in the other movie with Ha Jung Woo called "Chronicle Of A Blood Merchant" which was written, starred and directed by Ha Jung Woo. They just finished filming over the summer. 
I don't think there are other actresses slated to star in Assassination. Like the film Berlin File Jeon Ji Hyun is the only rose amongst the thorns.
