The backstory to actress Jun Ji Hyun’s casting as the lead female actress of the popularSBS drama, “Man From The Stars,” was recently revealed on E channel’s “Courageous Reporters.” 

“Jun Ji Hyun initially rejected the casting offer for the role of Chun Song Yi in ‘Man from the Stars,’” revealed one of the reporters on the broadcast. 

“After Jun Ji Hyun appeared in the movies, ‘Thieves’ and ‘The Berlin File,’ movie and drama offers came pouring in. Even when the casting call for ‘Man from the Stars’ arrived, she was already in the midst of preparing to appear in another movie. It was only because of scheduling problems that she was able to consider the role.” 

The drama production staff also did not give up on casting Jun Ji Hyun for the drama. “Jun Ji Hyun is the only who can play the role of Chun Song Yi,” stated fellow co-star Kim Soo Hyun. 

Can you imagine anyone else besides Jun Ji Hyun playing Chun Song Yi?

Actress Jun Ji Hyun’s husband is gaining attention anew.

Images of Jun Ji Hyu’s husband Choi Joon Hyuk has been circulating on various online communities. The images are screen captures of when Choi Joon Hyuk appeared on a show with his mother.

In the photo, Choi Joon Hyuk displays his sharp features. His handsome looks are comparable to a celebrity. He is said to be 180cm (5 ft 10 in) tall with a strong physique and to have a classy sense of fashion.

Jun Ji Hyun and Choi Joon Hyuk tied the knot in April of 2012. He currently works at Bank of America. His grandmother Lee Young Hee opened the Lee Young Hee Korea Museum in Manhattan, New York and is a hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) designer. His brother,Choi Joon Ho, was a member K-Pop group X-Large that debuted in 2001
