I just finished watching the making of ep.14 I absolutely need to comment..
- GuiGui is too cute to be true!!! She's like a doll, and her smile is just.. x___x too pretty!
- When GuiGui was reading the letter and said "I'm starting to like Oppa more and more" she went near him and emphasis the word more and more as if she's silently saying "Can my real feelings finally reach you now?"
- At the part when GuiGui teared up and Taecyeon asked her "Are you crying?" People may misunderstand the fact that he was still smiling but look at him.. his smile didn't reach his eyes


Also if you re-watch the video, you can clearly see the sudden change of his facial expression when GuiGui started to tear up starting from 6.15 when he said "Don't cry uhh" in korean. And another thing the angle of his lips shaked for a second around 6.18. I think that he was forcing himself to smile for GuiGui so that she will not cry endlessly. I'm sure that he was holding up his emotions and tried his best to cheer her up but many people misunderstood his actions
- And now look at his facial expression when GuiGui told him "Saranghae"



Can you see the difference? Isn't it obvious..oh Taecyeon we can see through your eyes and smile that you have a "special" feeling towards GuiGui. Also isn't it more meaninugful when someone says "I love you" while tearing up?

I never see HongMina BTS, but just now I was curious about Hongki's reaction after receiving the break-up message on the screen. I still haven't seen the BTS, just read some comments on YT. I just want to ask is 2PM more famous than FT Island in Korea?? Coz, seriously even Hongki keeps holding and hugging Mina in public. They're showing more skinship in the later episodes (after their Okinawa honeymoon). So, if 2PM is more famous then I understand Taec and the whole production crew hesitant to show more skinship. If not, then the only thing I gotta say is that "Taec, you miss many GOOD chances" *sigh*me tooooo.............................. he should comforting.........

Perhaps let me start up with honest confession that I'm next door lurker but hey I love both couple though my bias CP is quite obvious...kekekekeke....

That aside I'm an FTIsland fans in denial since I'm a sucker for rock song and can't really deal with K-pop that much but living with a die hard 2 pm younger sister indirectly draw me into watching numerous of their clips or listen to 2 pm history, story, or whatever you can find online....(she force me...ohh the agony)

As of today, maybe 2 pm is much more popular but if you look through the history FTIsland had been in the industry about 1 year and half early (early 2007) than 2pm(2008 if not mistaken). So though the members of FTIsland is much more younger at (youngest) 20 - 23 (oldest) ths year they can be consider as hyung by experience. And yes every band have their own story. 2pm is the k-pop idol with beastly image while FTIsland is a rock band that don't do dance - only singing +instrumental.

So comparing 2pm with FTIsland is like comparing Bon Jovi with Backstreet boys...which is comparatively off on category side...

It's fine if you say popularity is proof of the pudding but it certainly got nothing to do with affection as on that question it goes back to personality.

So if we regard Hongki care only for himself for being direct with his opinion like the bookstore and kayak stuff... then what is Taec doing leaving Guigui riding the roller coaster alone? Oh, he'll get headache so its okay for him not to go along?

What I'm trying to say is there is give and take in relationship and its okay to have different interest as long as we are learning to adjust ourselves and yes Hongki is learning and he's done his due and you'll know this if you follow their episode too...

Hongki  is natural with skinship,clingy when he's close to someone and is an original who don't really take care on his image so in a sense his interaction and gesture in GWGM is by instinct. If he's comforting her and doing a lot of skin ship, that imply that he's close and comfortable with Mina now. This got nothing to do with popularity as anti-fan is everywhere and Hongki had stated that he just don't care anymore on netizen. If you go google you can find a lot of bashing comment from netizen on our ladies too....but so far not so much on Mina as Korean seems to like her to even get her to be the first foreign ambassador for Puchon International Festival this coming July  but yes she do receive bashing from anti-fans especially FTIsland fans...

Good thing about Daramji couple is that they both bring up the new side of themselves...Mina being more expressive and vocal...Hongki being more mellow and caring...and I'm sure it goes the same with Taecgui too though I can't comment much on this. In my perspective,perhaps GWGM do bring a new side to Taec too if I were to compare him in GWGM and in other variety show...as of Guigui I don't know her but she's a nice, bright and funny girl. Quite hyperactive and kind of remind me of Hongki...

2. As stated above we don't put negative vibes here as much as possible. You did not post any negative remarks, for me, BUT YOU ARE ATTRACTING NEGATIVE VIBES. I hope you realized that before even posting your comment.

3. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! DON'T COMPARE! Taecyeon and hongki are different persons. We were criticizing Taecyeon but never really critizied Hongki. YOU DON'T WANT US TO CRITICIZE HONGKI RIGHT? Because I can describe Hongki in ONE WORD but I opt not to because I respect him and his fans.

4. If you want to REALLY defend your couple and try to uplist them, go back to your thread and post the posts you posted here. I bet you will be appreciated by your fellow shippers there. Because honestly here, most people would just ignore your post and continue shipping TaecGui.

Dear fellow shippers... I have been reading this forum everyday since a month ago and I feel like part of the teacgui family ><

I love all your comments and the chinese FBIs are really amazing!! =D>

There are a few points I want to say about Taec... he seems so withdrawn at the train station and seems like he is hiding his true feelings. He doesnt seems to have any problem with skinskip in earlier episodes but as time goes by he had gotten shy. In the farewell dinner pictures with Gui Gui wearing the "couple" bracelet, his eyes look sad though he had a smile on his face. My ex is a Capricorn and he had that kind of "symptoms" a few weeks before we broke up - we also broke up because we had too and we still love each other then. (

I find it quite impossible for Taec not to have any feelings for Gui Gui unless his heart is made of wood. Gui Gui is so lovable and she is always smiling sweetly at him. I read before that the best way to make a guy fall for you is to smile at him every time you see him. ; Capricorn man is also very private... unless you are really close to him he will not show you his true side *speaking from experience* . So I understand if Taec seems cool in the last episode. If you watch the episode where Kwanghee asked if they have bobo, Taec was playing/touching his ring. He also did when they were at the backyard of the house doing stretching and at the studio during recording. I see it as a sign of nervousness or he is very conscious about his marriage to Gui Gui.

I sometimes watch hongmina BTS and I noticed some difference in filming between two couples. Hongmina BTS is always focusing on the couple itself while Taecgui is more of the WGMG team - White day, Taec buying every dinner, Gui Gui giving out drinks and T-Shirts. I suspect they may have lots of BTS together but the crew are not showing us!! Could be due to limited airtime and they want to show how nice the couple are to them or their BTS are too sweet to be aired without causing up roar...

I am more of Gui Gui fan and I am very sure she is "highly in demand" - I think G.O. noticed that and he mentioned it during the interview in the photo shooting episode. Whoever ends up with Gui Gui in the future is one luck man.

Taec is a fantastic guy too. He seems very smart and slowly moving his career towards acting and composing as there is an "age limit" to be idol in Korea. You can be expecting him to dance hip hop and tearing tshirts when he is 40 right?

( i seriously havent been in this kind of state before. feeling upset over a show and rewatching every single episode again and again and again and again....laughing when they are laughing and crying when she is crying....

even before the show comes to an end, i am already having withdrawal syndrome. the only way to make myself better is to come here and gather strength from you girls....

well, in the end, whether they are or they are not together, i think most important thing is, they are happy with what they are doing...i guess that is what we supporters of taecgui fans should do, right?

I think taecyon is just one of those stoic,pragmatic,way-too-logical type of guys who unfortunate gets most misunderstood for as cold and relenting. true he may seem to not put in a lot of effort in showing showing affection to gui gui but that doesn't mean he cares less ( if my perception if his personality is correct lol) it just means that's all he can give . To me,its like giving a dollar if its all I have means more than giving a hundred when I have millions in the bank kind of thing ( please tell me I am making sense here lol) suffice it to say taec will never measure up to our lovely gui gui's show of affection if we use the same parameters , its nit just taec's way. Let me finish this post with something that was said in a Taiwanese drama... Loving someone can be in different ways, my way may not be right, my way may not be the way you want but nevertheless you cannot doubt its sincerity"... So lets continue to keep our fingers crossed for our crazy couple... To eternity and beyond haha :x

I don't think Hongki and Mina fans should get upset with Taec GuiGui fans and I don't think Taec GuiGui fans should get upset with Hongki Mina fans. Everyone has different things they enjoy watching and I never knew about FTIsland until I saw this show, but now I really like their music because he is such a good singer. It is just hard for me to get emotionally involved in the Hongki Mina couple because Hongki seems like he is much less interested in Mina than Mina is in Hongki and that makes it a little sad for me to watch their scenes. Hongki says stuff that hurts Mina's feelings but explains it by saying he has to be honest- but no man should ever tell his wife on their wedding day ( real or fake ) that you think another women is prettier than her. It can only hurt the woman. Who knows, maybe Taec and GuiGui will never see each other again after the show and Hongki and Mina will end up married with 9 kids. But right now, i just don't feel the emotions between them when I watch their scenes. As for popularity, celebrities have times when they are really popular, then it weakens, then it could pick back up again. Hongki seems to have a lot of things starting to happen now that will make him even more popular in many countries. With her personality, GuiGui could end up the biggest start of all of them so who knows. But if nothing happens between Taec and GuiGui after the show, I will have more respect for Hongki because he didn't pretend and say things to lead Mina on where Taec has definitely given Emma ( and us ) the idea that he wants to get to spend more time with her outside of the show. Another person here de-cloaking for Team Teacgui…

Hi y’all. I’m cdbarzun on youtube. I’ve been lurking here for quite some time and silently enjoying your comments. But I came home from a vacation (and a self-imposed WGWM blackout) this weekend and saw the mass hysteria about Taec.  What was that all about? Why were people coming with their pitchforks ready to burn him at the stake for not “comforting her enough”? Was there a new planetary realignment that disturbed the collective feminine mood and logic? Or are people just being overly sensitive because it's the second to the last week? 

I hope we don’t have suffer through that again this Friday. It’s hard enough to see Taecgui separate without having to defend their actions/decisions against the antis.

Going back to my stealth mode. Ciao!

Wahhhh cdbarzun..the mass hysteria is caused by the Taec's oh so low proile reaction to GuiGui's dance. I guess we expected to see a Taec who will throw caution in the wind and just react to it naturally. Understand however that he is a private man, is not a believer of PDA or just protecting GuiGui from the wrath of the Hottests who were present in swarms (and they did not even bother to hide their displeasure of GuiGui's presence and cuteness). I was griping, I was expecting him to put it all in, but I also understand where he is coming from. Taec just confuses me.

Everyone is different. Every man is different. Every woman is different.
We are caught up with what's "ideal" and "romantic" from Korean dramas and Hollywood movies. Extravagant and grand gestures equals love and affection? I think not. For all I know, when a husband knows that his wife doesn't like cleaning the kitchen sink dandruff (leftovers in the sink) and yet helps her with it and doesn't complain, that's love and affection. It isn't grand but it means something.
Yes, I admit that Oppa is wooden sometimes, but that's just who he is. We can't change him, no one can. He grew up to be the way he is, to think the way he thinks, to act the way he acts. Like one commentor mentioned, Oppa has been conditioned to be like that due to the things that he and 2PM went through. He's extra cautious of every little thing.
If Oppa didn't care and isn't affectionate in his own ways, he wouldn't have warmed Guigui up with the hot drinks and his breath, and that's just their first meeting. He looked after her making sure she doesn't fall. If he didn't care, he wouldn't have helped her with the chicken soup she was making, he wouldn't have picked something out from the corner of her eye at the pool, he wouldn't have bothered to propose to Guigui in such a way. Really, it was unnecessary for him to be honest and prepare a letter. He could have said "Would you marry me" after playing the piano and they'd get married the next day.  If he didn't care, he wouldn't have woken up to eat breakfast with her during the wedding day. He wouldn't even allow her to put lipstick on him if he wasn't "affectionate". He wouldn't play with the sea elephant, or feed the giraffe. He wouldn't even catch the hula hoop if he didn't want to. Oppa wouldn't hug her in front of the public, and he for sure wouldn't have shaded her from the rain with his hand, if he didn't care.
There's so many things that Oppa has done but they go unnoticed to some because these things seem too "normal" and "plain ordinary things that anyone can do". But when you put all of these things together, they mean so much more. People would say "If he really liked Guigui he would do something more special", but this is what Oppa could manage. He gave Guigui his time and himself entirely, and truthfully, anything she wants he'll do his best to grant them. And he's always by her side. 
My favorite comment by far was from @catncookie1. Oppa and Guigui have been together for only 3 months, and for our wooden Oppa, 3 months and doing these types of things is something. Expecting him to kiss Guigui or other more romantic stuff is pretty far fetched, but it's never wrong for us to hope and wish because it may come true one day. But yeah... Hongki has his ways, Oppa has his ways. So no matter what any lurker here has to say, be reminded that us TaecGui fans will stand united for one reason: our super big love for Taecyeon and Guigui.
To whom it may concern, you may say that you like both couples, but apparently you prefer the other couple better. Comments are welcome but when you start comparing... it only gives reason for a response.

By the way, I super duper love the snarkiness and feisty defense of the couple in YT. People really should just quit it, specially that lilly girl. Keep em coming!
