Can't wait for this drama..

With only just a week left, I'm totally excited for our two leads.. JUst seeing the trailer and the press conference pictures, you can see and feel that they have chemistry.. and as early as now, I'm already hoping that it would go beyond the screen and will have a relationship in real life..

Well, just a wishful thinking of an avid fan..

Actor Song Joong Ki recently visited the set of the drama series Wind Blows in Winter to encourage actor Jo In Sung.

On February 5, a spokesperson for SBS TV’s new drama series Wind Blows in Winter reported, “Song Joong Ki visited the set of Wind Blows in Winter with Kim Beom at the end of January. The shooting was done at the Dosan Park. It wasn’t an official visit. He just visited the set on his way to somewhere. When Song Joong Ki and Kim Beom visited the set, Jo In Sung welcomed them and spent some time with them. The three actors looked really nice together.”

Song and Kim became friends when they were represented by the same agency, Sidus HQ. Song’s debut film, A Frozen Flower, was the last project that Jo did before he started doing his military service.

Wind Blows in Winter is a melodrama, written by Noh Hee Kyung and directed by Kim Gyu Tae. It tells a story about humanity and the real value of love. It stars Jo In Sung, Song Hye Kyo, Kim Beom, and A Pink’s Eunji and will start airing on February 13.

@freshspring, thanks for the gifs. It’s very lovable and a few are very funny :D
@sunshine4ever, I really like how Hye Kyo mentioned in the interview that In Sung is handsome and has good acting skills ;))  It’s really good that the leads are getting along and helping each other out.
@putriN, thanks for the screen caps.:) I wonder who will fall in love first, is it Oh Soo or Oh Young?
@msriz, Thanks for posting the sponsorship article.  I hope more companies will help sponsor the drama.
@jjsweeter0211, I really like Yesung voice and I am glad he sang a song for the drama.  Can’t wait for the song to release.
@utkim, In Sung really had a good time at the press conference :))
@priti I also have watched MY, NG, and PP too.  All three are good dramas. I think TWTWB will be a good drama to watch.  We have a good cast and the scriptwriter is NHK.  The trailers really made viewers anticipated the drama.  Since this is JIS and SHK comeback drama I really hope the rating will turn out well.
@strawberry_switchblade, In Sung and Joong Ki is close and I think Joong Ki have visited In Sung during the filming set 2 times already. Wish to see a photo of them.

Kim Bum and APink’s Jung Eun Ji Show Off Close Friendship on the Set of “That Winter, The Wind Blows”

Co-stars Kim Bum and Jung Eun Ji (APink) recently snapped a photo together on the set of their new drama, “That Winter, The Wind Blows.”

In the photos, Kim Bum and Jung Eun Ji are seen with their arms around each other’s shoulders as they give a big smile for the camera. It’s been said that both actors are receiving much love and attention by the production team for their bright and adorable personalities. With his sociable personality, Kim Bum befriended the staff members and created a friendly atmosphere. Jung Eun Ji, on the other hand, warmed up both male and female members of the team with her cute eye smile and affectionate personality.

A source within the production team stated, “While it’s a cold and tired shoot, the two have vitalized the site with their laughs. As the two youngest people on the team, they create a very pleasant environment while still being very respectful. You can’t help but feel happy when you see them.”

In the upcoming series, Kim Bum will take on the role of Jin Sung, professional poker gambler, Oh Soo’s, (Jo In Sung) right hand man. She lost both her parents and her eyesight, making her extremely self-protecting and lonely. Jo In Sung plays Oh Soo, a playboy and a gambler who sets his eyes on his next target, Oh Young.

“That Winter, The Wind Blows” will premiere on SBS on February 13, at 9:55PM KST.

DRAMA CASTING & NEWS
Posters and character stills for That Winter

by girlfriday | February 5, 2013 |

ThatWinter20.jpg

Purdy. Things are starting to look up for the new Noh Hee-kyung melodrama That Winter, The Wind Blows, with the release of pretty posters, a teaser that isn’t all doom and gloom, and some interesting character quirks for our leads. Granted, it’s still your con-artist-meets-heiress fauxcest melo, but the tone is leaning less tragedy-porn and more thoughtful and contemplative, in keeping with the writer’s other works. Well thank goodness for that.

That Winter is an adaptation of the Japanese drama I Don’t Need Love, Summer and starsJo In-sung as a professional poker player and playboy who gambles away his entire fortune in one go and wins it back the next, and so on and so forth, without any direction in life or care for the people around him. Though he lets himself be called a cold unfeeling bastard by everyone around him, it seems to be a self-inflicted punishment — his big scar is the death of his first love, for which he blames himself.

Song Hye-gyo plays a blind heiress who lost her parents in an accident. But rather than be the tragic victim, she chooses to live a very active life, refusing to lean on others and even working as a teacher. The setup is that he approaches her posing as her long-lost brother, to get at her fortune. But they fall in love, and start to chip away at each other’s massive barriers.

Kim Bum plays Jo In-sung’s best friend, who looks up to him as a hyung and his own personal hero. What a guy to have as your role model, yeesh. He’s a fight-first-ask-questions-later kind of loose cannon, whose only constant is that he sticks by Jo In-sung’s side no matter what. His role is an interesting one, because he’ll be the person trying to keep the hero on track to get at the heroine’s money, as planned. But when Hyung starts deviating from the plan by falling in love with her, he’ll find himself at odds with his hero for the first time.

And then there’s Jung Eun-ji, who plays the younger sister to Jo In-sung’s first love. She’s described as a bit of an airhead, who speaks in banmal to everyone and knows nothing outside her tiny world working as a florist. The hero assumes she hates him, since her sister died because of him. But despite what their constant bickering would suggest, she actually comes to realize that she likes him, just as he starts to fall for the heroine.

The one thing I wish this story didn’t have is the inevitable plot thread — I can’t love you because you’re my oppa… not — but hopefully the drama won’t be about that, so much as an interesting character exploration despite that. We’ll see. It’ll be a 16-episode melodrama, directed by the same PD who did Padam Padam with writer Noh Hee-kyung, and premieres February 13 on SBS.

February 06, 2013 3:30 pm eternalc2h

111.jpg11-2.jpg11-3.jpg11-4.jpgSong Hye Kyo, who will soon come out with SBS TV’s new drama series Wind Blows in Winter, recently became a sexy bohemian. She recently released a pictorial of herself for the fashion magazine High Cut, scheduled to be published on February 7, under the title of Winter, Wind, and Hye Kyo.

In the pictorial, Song is showing off a beautiful look as one of the most beautiful actresses in Asia. In the closeup photos, she shows off her clean skin.

Regarding the reason she chose the drama series Wind Blows in Winter as her next project, Song said, “I read the synopsis of the series after I was offered the lead role, and it was really good. Especially the leading male character was really good. I didn’t know who was going to take the leading male role, but I thought it was worth to make an early decision because it’s written by Noh Hee Kyung and directed by Kim Kyu Tae. Jo In Sung took the leading male role, and I thought I got lucky.”

Regarding actresses she likes, she said, “I personally like Moon Chae Won. She’s got her own natural, quiet personality. I watched the drama series Nice Guy to see her.”

Regarding the possibility of appearing on a variety show, she said, “I want to appear on a variety show as a guest, but people around me keep asking me not to because I tend to say everything I want to say. If my next project is a romantic comedy, I would definitely try a variety show, but I guess I should wait for another chance.”
