Actor Yoon Si Yoon and actress Han Hyo Joo recently received the Popular Star Prize in China.

On December 8, Yoon and Han attended the ’2012 Asia Top 10 Popular Star Awards’ in China and received the Hallyu Star Prize.

Yoon said in fluent Chinese, “I want to thank the staff members of Happy Noodle.” Besides Yoon and Han, Wu Chun and Joe Chen from Taiwan attended the awards ceremony.

Yoon gained high popularity in China because his TV series King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo has aired. His Chinese TV series Happy Noodle will also air in China next year.

The awards ceremony, conducted by CETV, awards stars, who is very popular in Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan) and contributed for development in entertainment industry. Song Hye Kyo was awarded in 2002.

Yoon was recently cast in tvN’s series Flower Boy Next Door with actress Park Shin Hye. The series is based on a web cartoon about the moderns who peek at other people. The series will start airing on January 7 at 11:00 p.m.

Five pretty boys in the new drama series The Pretty Boy Next Door are expected to appeal to many female viewers.

On December 10, some still photos from tvN’s new drama series The Pretty Boy Next Door, which will start airing on January 7 next year, were released.

The Pretty Boy Next Door is based on the popular cartoon series I Peek At Him Everyday. It’s a romantic comedy about a girl named Go Dok Mi (played Park Shin Hye), who has isolated herself from the world because of painful memories, and a pretty boy named Enrique Keum (played by Yoon Si Yoon), who falls in love with Go Dok Mi.

What attracts the most attention is five handsome characters in the series. Including Enrique Keum, Oh Jin Rak (played by Kim Ji Hoon), Yoo Dong Hoon (played by Go Kyung Pyo), Han Tae Joon (played by Kim Jung San), and Watanabe (played by Mizuta Kouki) live around Go Dok Mi’s house. In the still photos, they’re showing off their handsome faces.

Yoon Si Yoon and Park Shin Hye are also showing off a cute, innocent look. According to the production crew, the set was full of laughs although it was the first time for all the cast to meet.

The Pretty Boy Next Door is the third project of tvN’s Pretty Boy series. The story of the series revolves around Yoon, Park, and Kim Ji Hoon in a love triangle. It will start airing on January 7 next year and will air every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 p.m.

Slowly becoming the most anticipated romance comedy for 2013, tvN’s Flower Boy Next Doorreleased official posters, heightening the excitement for the drama’s release.



The two posters that were released revealed an exciting and complicated love story to come between Park Shin Hye, Yoon Shi Yoon, and Kim Ji Hoon. 

Standing in front of an illustrated city background, Yoon Shi Yoon peered lovingly at a worried Park Shin Hye. In another, Park Shin Hye was caught in the middle of a love triangle between Yoon Shi Yoon and Kim Ji Hoon. 




Based on the popular webtoon, I Steal a Peek at Him Every Day, Flower Boy Next Door is about a hurt girl, who traps herself inside her home and spends her days stealing glances of her flower boy neighbors.

The drama will premiere on January 7.
