i've just watched ep09, it was so funny eric is popular w/ girls as always. but andy is so cute here can't wait for the subs..btw, was it kim nayoung who did the noisy interview w/ shinhwa before? seems like they were talking about that. if she did, waah, she looked totally different

i dont know..just my personal opinion..this ep is my least favourite one..i love Kim Na young but other guest not so amusing for me..

but, this might be change after i watch the raw or with subbed. because my internet lagging so much just now.

Andy really save this episode, for me..he really funny and hyper! i was like "Wah, Andy the zombie from episode 4 is back!!!"

On a side note I am quite impressed that they are able to invite guests like Kim Wan Sun and Kim Na Young and those MCs for the next ep, considering its a cable station. I went to peek at the official forum where viewers can post ideas for future channels. Saw some interesting ones which I hope the producers will take up...there were talkshow, beauty, health, Mr (or Miss) Shinhwa (haha!), food, home shopping, summer horror special, drama, movie, music (shinhwa dancing to gal grps songs), matchmaking, survival, science.

I wan something like Fear Factor...to see Andy gettin all frightened again lol.

Wahhh! Very interesting suggestions. The main concept of Shinhwa Broadcast is daebak! I mean, think about it... the possibilities are practically unlimited. They can, basically, do everything they want! They could even have a fishing channel, home and gardening channel, cooking channel, infomercial channel or a wildlife channel.

For me, I'd really want to see a WGM-type of episode, with just them as couples - up to them who becomes the wife . Or maybe one of those English/Korean educational programs, with them as the instructors.

Hello... just read news that Shinhwa Broadcast is doing extremely well in ratings.... But does anyone know what does a 1% rating in a cable channel equivalent to in terms of ratings for the other regular broadcast channel???

good news!! i think the AGB ratings increasing dramatically from 0.799 to 1.371%!!! so happy! hopefully, i will get better in next episode!! XDD

‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ viewer rating increases

According to AGB Nielson Media Research, a company which logs the viewer ratings for TV shows, jTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘ has finally captured over 1% of the viewer ratings in South Korea.

‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ is a variety program created by the idol group Shinhwa themselves. There was a lot of anticipation for the shows release, however, the first episode which aired on March 17th, managed to only gather a disappointing viewer rating of 0.336%.

Since then, ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ garnered an average viewer rating of 0.3%-0.8%, but after two months on air, the show has finally exceeded a 1% rating on May 12th.

This week’s episode of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ amassed a viewer rating of 1.371%, which is a 0.572% increase from the May 5th episode of 0.799%. The hope is that this will mark a continuous upward trend in viewer ratings for the future.

The most recent airing of ’Shinhwa Broadcast’ on May 12th, featured the episode ‘Shin Family Game Center’, a remake of KBS‘s former variety show ‘Family Game Center‘, and starred MCs Park Ji Yoon and Huh Cham, with guest-stars Park Hae Mi, Kang Soo Ji, Kim Wan Sun, Kim Na Young, Kim Jung Min, and Girl’s Day‘s Minah.

not sure if it has some problem with licensing issue but a mini mock up of the We Get Married, Fear Factor, Bachelor, Amazing Race, Survivor, Dancing with the Star, home decorating challenge.... or even Jeopardy.... would be awesome! I really like the freestyle/concept of the Shinhwa Broadcast will make the show fresh and the sky is the limit as far as the concepts goes.... but it's also be a potential problem building up a long term followers... but for now I'm happy with a great increase in rating!

I don't quite know the equivalent of the 1% cable programs to the regular broadcast % rating but from what I've know, any dramas/shows that hit the 1% for cable is consider very good rating. I've seen drama rating for cable any where from 0.2% - 4% (Vampire Prosecutor)...

from 0.7 99% in EP.8 to 1.371%, a 0.572% increase is awesome!!! More than anything, I'm happy the rating is raising steadily. I was quite worried the push back of broadcast time by 1 hour would adversely affect the show... I guess not :P

Its actually from badminton (bae-deu-min-teon) to bed scene hair (bae-deu-sin-teol). Bed scene usually refers to sex scene. And teol can refer to any hair (fur, armpit hair, or any other hair found on your body ). So combine the 2 words and consider this is coming from Dongwan, and you can pretty much guess which hair they're referring to. That's why the rated 19+ symbol comes up haha... Good thing this show is on cable channel and the airing time was moved to 11pm. Otherwise they would've been banned from airing.

I treat Shinhwa Broadcast freestyle concept as something like what Infinity Challenge program is like. I believe is the cast members' relationship as a whole and the interesting concepts from the PD that makes Infinity Challenge so popular with the viewers. As well, the occasional on the street interaction with the citizens draws on the viewers.

In this case, Shinhwa's relationship with each other + freestyle concept + the build on relationship with the citizens will make the program popular. Shinhwa Broadcast is still in it's early stages, so i'm sure they'll eventually get hold of what kinda of program it wants to be and increasing ratings, just like 1n2d, running man, and infinity challenge.

And when i told her her, they are 30ish, she just went O_o, my mom thought they're 20ish

I can't stop laughing whenever i watch dongwan said 베드신 털 hahahahahaha

In the preview, I thought it went straight from Eric's "badminton" to Dongwan's "bedscene + body hairs" but it went from Minwoo's "BEDminton" (theres's even such word?) first before it got to Dongwan..... I don't know how subber will subb these accurately XDD

I think the chemistry among the members for the show is fab and I love to see them really going at it like pretend yawning to induce more yawning from the kids during JinSung's story telling in EP.08 that caused them extra minus points... naughty naughty Shinhwa :lol:

The change in broadcasting time definitelly works in the show's favor cus the rating increase is much much more prominent from EP.08 on. yup I do hope they will invite other guess or even general public on the show cus it'll bring more attention/awerness to the show as well
