Universal Pictures has released this new movie poster for American Reunion, the fourth feature film in the American Pie franchise. I love how the poster is a throwback to the original poster for the original movie, except they've all grown up. Well, maybe not Stiffler. I'm looking forward to this movie. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm excited to see all these character back together again.

The film reunites the whole original cast of the series including Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge, and Eugene Levy.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by—the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.

American Pie is working on a fourth film with the original cast titled American Reunion. Jason Biggs, Sean William Scott and Eugene Levy have reportedly signed on and already some plot details have been revealed!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason, Sean and Eugene have reached deals with Universal and the studio is in negotiations with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge to reprise their roles.

Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have written the script and will direct the film. Original writer Adam Herz and original directors Paul and Chris Weitz will be executive producing American Reunion.

So what will the plot be?

According to What’s Playing, the cast will return to East Great Falls for their 10-year high school reunion.

Jim (Jason) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) are still married, but their next door neighbor gets a crush on Jim. Oh and Jim’s filmed “dance” for Nadia has made him a YouTube sensation.

As for Stifler (Sean), he’s apparently not doing well with his job as a temp and having a hard time with the ladies.

Oz (Chris) is a big-shot now after being a contestant on a show like Dancing With the Stars.

They are back for a family Reunion, Jim is back involving his marriage with Michelle and needs to learn how to be a father. So he gets Stifler to help out with his newborn son who will be in the fraternity house of the Beta"s in his further life! First he gets baptized in a church where he learns his family heritage from inside The Bible of East Great Falls where he learns his father was also was in virginity. Paul Finch happens to go from a virgin to a catholic where he baptized little William and Kevin learns his past involving his relationship with Vicki. Michelle is still talking about Band Camp and will be the new Macro, Kevin will get back with Vicki, Oz will become Captain of lacrosse and will be in touch with his girlfriend Heather. Things will change as their Reunion ends, Will this be the last slice of the pie.

UPDATE: Funny set pic

John Cho is probably best known for adding the term “MILF” to the American Lexicon from his role in the original American Pie movie.

Now there’s word that John Cho will reprise his role in the latest installment of the American Pie films titled, American Reunion. He was recently spotted on set with Thomas Ian Nicholas ("Kevin") sporting a mustache. The movie is set to be released next year but it’s cool knowing that John Cho is going to be in it!

Jason Biggs and Tara Reid attend a photo call for their latest film, American Reunion, held outside of Harry’s Cafe de Wheels on Tuesday (March 6) in Sydney, Australia.

The 33-year-old actor and Tara, 36, were joined by their co-stars Mena Suvari, Seann William Scott, Eugene Levy, Chris Klein and their directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.

The cast even tried out the cafe’s famous pies after the photo call was finished!

Alyson Hannigan, Jennifer Coolidge, John Cho, and Shannon Elizabeth all reprise their roles in American Reunion, which hits theaters on April 6.
