    Lol.. Nguyen for Vietnamese, that's a no brainer. Probably like 1/2 of Vietnam are full of Nguyen's.

    I really don't think there is a common last name for Laos people. But I know commonly, a lot of Laos last name tend to start with a "Kh-" like mine does, alot of Laos last name always end with an "a" or a "-sa" or "vong" or "-ndy" or "ay" or "seng"

    ex)
    Vannaseng
    Thiravong
    Khanthavongsa
    Vongppandy
    Phottipoopa

    just really long last names that no one but laos fobs can pronounce perfectly xD

    For Vietnamese, the top three, in order, are: Nguyen, Tran, and Le.

    I read that somewhere, and remembered it forever... image;;

    There's also Watanabe for Japanese. I'm not sure though.

    For Vietnamese, I don't see a lot of Le (used to live near Little Saigon). Mostly Nguyen and sometimes Tran.

    Chinese: Chen, Li, Chien, Wang, Wong, Lee
