Bud Brothers is a TV adaptation of a Precious Hearts Romances novel written by the queen of romantic comedy in Filipino pop literature, Rose Tan.

The Bud Brothers Series is a group of eight best selling novels written by Filipino Romance Writer, Rose Tan. It has sold more than 15,000 copies during it's first printing in the Philippines in 2002 and has been expanded into a franchise (Bud Brothers Group and Bud Brothers Unlimited) by it's Publisher Precious Pages Corp by 2005.

The books tells the story of eight different men who decided to start a flower farm in Matabungkay, Batangas and their adventures in love. The fictional farm is called The Bud Brothers Flower Farm thus explaining the name of the series.

Georgina Yulo was disowned by her father that is why she seeks Pio Andong for help. She found Pio in Bud Brothers Farm. In the farm, she was given all the things she needed.

But there was a catch: whether she likes it or not, she will see Vicente Banaag everyday, the man she truly hates. Why? Because Vicente broke her innocent heart into pieces.

But she does not have anything to worry about because Vicente will do anything just to avoid her. Vicente does not want to see Georgina also.

They both don’t know that the Bud Brothers are cooking something up…..

Betsy has a mission in Bud Brothers Farm, that is to know everything about Wayne Alban, the mysterious boyfriend of her lady boss.

But her first day was a disaster, she accidentally fall down on the hibiscus that Wayne is growing. And even though she’s afraid of Wayne, she confessed to him that she’s the one who destroyed the precious hibiscus.

“I will accept any punishment that you will give me, just forgive me” she said to the dark and utterly mysterious Wayne.

"Okay. Be my wife”, he said.

She is shock, she’s asking for punishment not grace!

Pepper is affected by the cold war of her father and her father's best friend and her Godfather, Don Pepe. She doesn't want them to waste forty years of friedship.

Her plan simple. She and Rei will pretend that they are in a romantic relationship and they are planning their wedding. If their father's know the they will become family, it's imposible for them to talk with each other.

And she considered it a miracle that Rei agreed to her plan. The only problem is, they've only started role playing when her heart betrayed her.

By the time they announced their engagement, her feeling for Rei wasn't fake anymore, but Rei doesn't feel the same way.

I'm an avid fan/reader of PHR novels, but I'm not into ABS-CBN's regular talents. They should launch a new batch of stars for this series instead.

Precious Hearts Romances, the country’s most celebrated publisher of pocket book love stories, is now the newest teleserye to lighten up the ABS-CBN Hapontastic. For its initial offering, Precious Hearts Romances presents a story written by Rose Tan entitled Bud Brothers.

Bud Brothers follows the story of eight male friends who together own a flower farm business. Pio, Vince, Wayne, Carlo, Pete, Rei, Ed, Monty, and Richard will each take on a journey of love and self-discovery with the different women who will come into their respective lives.

BOOK 1: Stupid Cupids

The Bud Brothers celebrate the wedding of their friend Pio to his longtime girlfriend Sandy. But in the middle of the ceremony, Georgie barges in with a baby. She asks Pio for a place to stay in, but he comes up with a wicked plan. Georgie is later surprised when she finds herself at the house of Vince, her ex-boyfriend and Pio’s best friend. Vince and Georgie’s relationship ended on a bad note, and living under one roof, unresolved issues from their past will cause friction between the two. But amidst their squabble, Vince and Georgie will discover that they still have feelings for each other.

Meanwhile, Pio and Sandy will begin to realize that married life is not a bed of roses after all. Pio will be so consumed with his goal to make the flower farm business a success. Sandy, on the other hand, will push the limits of her patience and submissiveness to support her husband’s obsession.

I super agree with angel2nyt, there are TOO MANY talents in abs-cbn, that's why not all of them get projects, and eventually transfer to GMA.
