Rotherham Sex Abuse Tragedy - 1400 kids were systematically abused - "Asians" partly blamed

Something that's been bothering me is this Rotherham child sex abuse case. The perpetrators are all from a certain country, but some articles are also saying they are all "Asian males" because they don't want to be too specific and because the white dominated media fails to differentiate between 4.43 billion Asians. My concern is that East Asians, who commit the least crime and are the most law abiding, will get partly blamed for this atrocity by misinformed people.

Anyone know about the Rotherham incident? 1400 kids were sexually abused and it's big news in the UK. It happened because society was too politically correct.

Anyone else share my concerns?

Most of the articles I've seen have stated "Asian males of Pakistani origin". And even then, South Asians already have a bad rep regarding sexual assault due to recent India rape incidents. Your concerns are unfounded.
Edit: In fact, I find the wording of your question weird as if you are fine if innocent Pakistani men get the blame, as the Sikh community did in the U.S. after 9/11. Regardless of Asian differentiation within the media, only those who committed the crime should be blamed.

I believe those who commit the crime should get the blame if race is mentioned at all. It's not about blame. It's about accuracy in reporting. How is the wording in my question weird? I certainly don't believe Asian (orientals) should get any blame for this. I fail to see your logic.

I also did not find the quote you mentioned "Asian males of Pakistani origin" at all in a search concerning this story.

The quote that I did find in alot of articles was from the official report (which was also quoted in many stories) which said, "“By far the majority of perpetrators were described as ‘Asian’ by victims, yet throughout the entire period, councillors did not engage directly with the Pakistani-heritage community to discuss how best they could jointly address the issue,” states the report."

It's not about my trying to win an argument. It's about wanting to see if there are other Asians who are concerned about this obvious inaccuracy in the media. I believe the media must be more accurate in its reporting.

So many countries cover Asia. Chinese, Indians, Pakistani and Thai just to name a few.
Most Asian violence occurs in the golden triangle where it has a drug trade. Burma, Thailand and Vietnam.
On the main coast it would be the mainland of China.
Certain parts of India allow rape for a certain festival. They believe raping women will drive out the evil from them in this time.
The middle east mainly in tyrant ruled parts people will commit a fair amount of crime. Even their rulers.

Justice isn't well taught like in the Western countries like USA or Australia.
Most people ignore the violence going on around them making it easier for criminals to get away with it.

When I was on holiday in Beijing I was at a McDonald's and saw a woman getting bashed for ignoring a strangers request for her name. People including staff ignored the situation. Me and a European couple eventually stopped the assault. No one local offered their help as they would avoid getting hurt themselves. The bad thing was in the end the police came and was harassing us about the incident even though we were the good guys. WTF. So much for duty to rescue. No arrest was made. Police just escorted the people outside and let them go.
