Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay’s Chris Martin stepped out together at a dinner with friends Thursday night at the Chateau Marmont in LA reports The New York Post.
Spies tell us the “Hunger Games” actress, 24, and the singer, 37, were joining friends at a birthday celebration and were both “all smiles” and “had grins from ear to ear.”
Lawrence was just announced as a co-host of the 2015 Met Ball, titled “Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film and Fashion.”
While Martin is still consciously uncoupling from wife Gwyneth Paltrow, sources say she approves of his new relationship with Lawrence.
We’re told, “Things are very amicable, and Gwyneth is happy for Chris.”

Remember that awkward moment when you break up and have to collect your things from your ex's house? Well, it seems like Jennifer Lawrence just did that.
The "Hunger Games" actress was spotted at Chris Martin's Malibu, Calif., home on Thursday, presumably to collect her things in the wake of the couple's recent split. See the photos here.
Behind the wheel of her black Cadillac, J.Law was seen arriving at her ex's house, looking somewhat somber and maintaining a low profile. After arriving, she reportedly spent two hours inside the home.
A source told E! that there are no hard feelings between the two of them and that things "just didn't work out."
Previous reports say that J.Law had a hard time grasping the close relationship between Chris and his ex Gwyneth Paltrow.
After J.Law's drive by, Chris Martin attended Kate Hudson's Halloween party, where he mingled with several A-list guests.
And for those wondering about Chris' outfit to the party? He donned a long-sleeved shirt, jeans and a hat and went as the frontman for Coldplay, a costume he wears everyday.
