On August 25 at Gangnam district’s Imperial Palace Hotel, A Pink’s Chorong and other members of the cast on tvN’s new Friday-Saturday drama, “Plus Nine Boys,” assembled for a production conference about the series.

Commenting on the show, Chorong told reporters, “I play the role of a mysterious girl with many secrets. This is the first time I have really acted, so I am nervous and excited. I’ve practiced hard, so please cheer for me.” CJ E&M producer Yoo Hak Chan, who is a fan of A Pink, stated that “Rong Leader” (Park Chorong) is skilled and hard working, giving her a thumbs up.

On “Plus Nine Boys,” Chorong acts the part of a Jeong Balsan District beauty who is Kang Min Gu (BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae)’s romantic interest.

Fans can catch “Plus Nine Boys” on tvN starting August 29 at 8:40 p.m.

뭔가 이제 진짜 첫방송이 시작된다고 하니 많은 생각이 드네요!
정말 무더운날 감독님,작가님부터 시작해서 많은 스텝분들, 배우선배님들께서 고생하면서 그리고 즐겁게 촬영하고있습니다!
저또한 첫 정극이다보니 촬영하면서 느낀점도 너무많고, 배울점도 너무 많더라구요..!
단순히 대본에 씌여져있는 대사 이외에 수아캐릭터로 표현해야할것들이 많기에 연기는 정말 어려운거구나..라고 다시 한번 느끼고있습니다..!
그래도 정신 딱 잡고 하나하나 다 놓치지않고 배우려고 노력하면서 촬영하고있어요!
그치만 처음이다보니 놓치고 가는 부분도 많을거라고 생각해요..
여러분들이 응원많이 해주시는만큼,그리고 드라마를 기대해주시고 기다려주시는분들이 계신만큼! 열심히해서 점점더 좋아지는 수아의 모습 보여드릴게요!

Sungjae of boy group BTOB is under the spotlight for his surprisingly good acting skills he showed in the new tvN drama “Plus Nine Boys.”

Many praised the idol’s acting in the first episode of the drama, which started airing on August 29. Some are even calling him the next big idol actor.

In the drama, Sungjae appears as Kang Min Gu, a 19-year-old high school judo athlete.

Previously, Sungjae showed his acting chops on tvN’s “Reply 1994” in a supporting role.

After the broadcast of the first episode, Sungjae posted on his social network site, “I watched it, nervous that it would be awkward! I’ll try my best to show a better performance in the future! Thanks to everyone who tuned in for the broadcast. ‘Plus Nine Boys’ hwaiting! Kang Min Gu hwaiting!”.

The new tvN drama “Plus Nine Boys” has recently released a music video entitled, “Pretty.”

The short music video clip features the three male lead characters– the 19-year-old Kang Min Goo (BTOB’s Yook Sungjae), the 29-year-old Kang Jin Goo (Kim Young Kwang), and the 39-year-old Goo Kwang Soo (Oh Jung Sae)–and the apples of their eyes in the drama.

BTOB’s Sungjae expresses the great admiration that the guys in the drama feel for the ladies whom they have fallen for by singing the lines “pretty” over and over again.
