PlotA group of friends are invited to the launch party of a luxury resort. A strange man barges in, and scares everyone away by declaring that they will all be killed by a curse. They return to the resort to find the strange man watching them, and accidentally end up killing him.

I’m pretty sure horror is scary enough without the third dimension getting involved, but nevertheless, people continue to search for new ways to scare more pants off of people. New horror movie Tunnel 3-D comes from the producers behind The Webtoon: Foretold Murder (which I’m still too much of a wimp to watch), and has signed Yeon Woo-jin (When a Man Loves) and Jung Yumi (Wonderful Mama) to star.

-----Do Hee Cast in Upcoming Horror Film ‘Tunnel 3D’
Proving herself to be one of the hottest rising stars, Do Hee will be taking on yet another acting project. 
The movie production company, Filma Pictures, announced, “Do Hee has been cast to take on the role of a mysterious girl for this movie. She will be the one who holds a very important secret in the storyline.”
Tunnel 3D is a horror film unfolding the mysterious story of young men and women in their twenties, who take a trip to a fancy resort in a closed mine area.


The other cast members include Jung Yoo Mi, Yeon Woo Jin, Song Jae Lim and more. 
The filming will be complete at the end of April and will premiere in the summer.

Annyeong! I'll be keeping an eye out on this thread since I love horror films and Song Jae Rim, along with Jung Yoo Mi, are part of the cast!

I saw Lee Min Jung as part of the cast on MyDramaList, but haven't seen that news anywhere else. I also didn't see her in the trailer. Does anyone know if that information is accurate or not?

The movie finally get released date. It will be on cinema on August 13. And the movie got invitation to do the first screening at The Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) that starting on July 17.

One month to go before the movie premier.
Jung Yumi talked about her first movie poster. But I could not find the clip. Looks like it from SBS Entertainment show and I never saw that kind of poster for this movie.

Tiny-G’s Dohee Talks of Her Hardships while Shooting “Tunnel 3D”
Dohee of girl group Tiny-G talked about the difficulties she had while shooting her upcoming horror film, “Tunnel 3D“, on the July 14 broadcast of radio program “Jo Jung Chi and Jang Dong Min’s 2PM“.


On her experience shooting her first horror movie, Dohee said, “I played a ghost in the movie. So there were many moments where I had to be very still. I couldn’t even blink my eyes.” 
“Tunnel 3D” is a horror movie that will open in August. It also stars Song Jae Rim, Jung Yu Mi, Jung Si Yeon, Son Byung Ho, Yeon Woo Jin, and Lee Jae Hee. It tells the story of a group of friends who enter a blocked-off tunnel while on vacation. 
Meanwhile, Dohee was also recently cast in the upcoming remake of “Nodame Contabile” called “Cantabile Romance” (working title).

Dohee confesses it was uncomfortable to act without using satoori for 'Tunnel 3D'
Tiny-G's Dohee revealed she had to get used to acting without using satoori (dialects of Korean spoken outside of Seoul) for her upcoming horror movie 'Tunnel 3D'!


During the press conference for 'Tunnel 3D' held CGV Cinema in Apgujeong, Seoul on July 16, Dohee shared, "This is the first movie I filmed, and I think I concentrated more on it than I did for dramas. However, the director and those around me helped a lot. They told me the things I am lacking, and I learned a lot from it."
She also revealed that it was awkward to not use her signature satoori, "I felt pressure now that I had to act in a Seoul accent and not satoori. Because I wasn't supposed to use satoori, I practiced how to talk in Seoul speech. I worked on it, but I'm not sure if it came out well."
'Tunnel 3D' is a 3D horror thriller film that will take viewers through the unusual occurrences that happen when a resort opens at an abandoned coal mine. Dohee joins Jung Yoo Mi, Yeon Woo Jin, Song Jae Rim, Jung Si Yeon, Lee Si Won, Lee Jae Hee, and Son Byung Ho in the film. The movie is set to premiere on August 13.

'The Tunnel 3D' Holds Production Conference

‘The Tunnel 3D’ depicts a story of men and women in their 20’s leaving travel to a luxury resort which is built around an abandoned coal mile. People start to disappear as they get locked into the coal mine.

Yeon Woo Jin told that he hopes to shoot a romance film with Jung Yoo Mi.
On July 16th, press conference of movie 'Tunner 3D' wash eld CGV Apgujeong branch, and Yeon Woo Jin attended the conference with Jung Yoo Mi, Song Jae Lim, Jung Si Yeon, Lee Si Won, Lee Jae Hee, Do Hee, Woo Hee, and director Park Gyu Taek.
During the conference, Yeon Woo Jin said, "I've had a great number of chances to work with actors of the same age as me. I was very happy when I heard that Jung Yoo Mi was casting in this film as well."
He went on, "I could feel that Jung Yoo Mi is a very warm-hearted person while shooting this film. She is a very warm, and 'big' person."
Yeon Woo Jin also said, "I once had a drink with her, and I could actually feel that I was having a great time with a great person. I have a huge trust in her, and I hope to shoot a romance film with her some time in the future."
Meanwhile, 'Tunnel 3D' will be officially released on August 13th.

Idols Starring in Films for Second Half of 2014 Include T.O.P, Sulli, D.O, Dohee and More
More and more idols have started to make their names known through acting, also known as ‘acting idols.’ ZE:A’s Im Siwan earned praise for his role in “The Attorney,” B1A4’s Jinyoung received a lot of love for his part in “Miss Granny,” and increasing numbers of idol actors are showing their abilities to act through dramas and films.


To start off, Tiny G’s Dohee, who was first recognized for her ‘dialect’ acting in tvN’s “Reply 1994,” will be taking a shot at a horror movie for the first time through “Tunnel 3D.” She has taken on the role of a mysterious girl who constantly lingers around a tunnel, and is planning to show her abilities to express emotions using her eyes, rather than speaking in this film.
Dal Shabet’s Woohee will also be taking part in “Tunnel 3D” as the role of a club DJ. As the character named Hye Young, Woohee will be showing off her honest and sexy charms, unlike the cute image she has previously displayed on stage as a singer.
f(x)’s Sulli, who has acted in “Seodongyo” and “Love Needs a Miracle” prior to her debut as an idol, will be appearing in the upcoming film “The Pirates.” She will be playing actress Son Ye Jin’s younger counterpart as the character of Yeo Wol, and will be portraying a completely different side.
EXO’s D.O is also trying his part at acting through the new film “Cart,” which follows the story of a mega store that suddenly lays off contract workers and the aftermath of the workers who decide to stand up for themselves against the unfair dismissal. The EXO member will be playing the role of Tae Young, the high school son of actress Yeom Jeong Ah’s character. Before the release of this film, D.O will be starring in the SBS drama “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” which premiered on July 23.
One of the original acting idols, BIGBANG’s T.O.P, is also planning to make his return as actor Choi Seung Hyun. Following his previous roles in “71: Into the Fire” and “Commitment,” T.O.P has already earned recognition from the public for his acting abilities. He will be starring alongside actors Jo Seung Woo, Shin Se Kyung, Kim Yoon Suk, Yoo Hae Jin, and more in the film “Tazza: The High Rollers 2.”

Yeon Woo Jin to make his very first variety appearance through 'Radio Star'


Actor Yeon Woo Jin, who is currently in tvN drama 'Marriage, Not Dating,' will be making his very first variety show appearance since his debut!  He will be appearing on this week's MBC's 'Radio Star' for their 'Funnier Than They Seem' special alongside his co-stars, Son Byung Ho, Jung Yoo Mi, and Tiny-G's Dohee, from upcoming movie, 'Tunnel 3D.'  
Although he normally shows a smooth and soft image in dramas, he will be revealing a different side to him through this first variety show appearance as he will take on singing and dancing.  
In addition, actress Jung Yoo Mi, who has the image of a cold city woman, will reveal episodes from her easygoing, everyday life.  You can watch this episode when it airs on August 6 at 11:15 PM KST!

Tiny-G's Dohee reveals her role model on 'Radio Star'


MBC's 'Radio Star' had a 'Funnier Than They Look' special on August 6, inviting the actors from upcoming horror film 'Tunnel 3D' onto the show.
Tiny-G's Dohee was one of the guests, and she was asked by MC Kim Gu Ra, "Your role model was [A Pink's] Eunji, but you should change it, right?"  She replied, "If I think of bigger seniors, I personally like Hwang Jung Eum's acting."
MC Kim Gook Jin joked, "Does this mean you've surpassed Eunji?"  Taken aback, Dohee explained, "Because Eunji is a singer, I feel like she is a close colleague, but I don't get that with Hwang Jung Eum."


Kim Gu Ra continued, "Jung Yoo Mi can't be your role model?" as the actress was also on the show that day.  Dohee said, "The way I see it, Jung Yoo Mi looks like a city girl, but I give off a rural vibe."
The relentless Kim Gu Ra teased, "So Hwang Jung Eum gives off a rural vibe?"  At this point, poor Dohee was having a mental breakdown, making everybody laugh on the show.
