One of the classic Chinese novel and TV adaptation that had been read and watched by almost every Asian country . The one series that brought  Zhao Wei, Ruby Lin, Alec Su, Fan Bing Bing, and more fame and popularity, especially Zhao Wei and her Huan Zhu Ge Ge character that were loved by so many viewers throughout Southeast Asia. Even now, the series is still rerun on Chinese TV channel on each and every Lunar New Year Day. 

Now you have brought back old memories. Loved this drama. Still one of the best Qing dramas in Chinese drama history in my opinion. Not only did the lead actors and actresses all become famous, even many of the supporting cast members gained popularity. 

I hate how they made a "newer" version of it T_T the original one is the best!! I've watched it 4 times
