Synopsis
Detective Shi-On (So Yi Hyun) can see things that ordinary people can not. With her warm-heart, she tries to help ghosts that have unfairly arrived in their situations due to their complicated stories. Meanwhile, Detective Shi-On's partner, Detective Gun-Woo (Ok Taec Yeon) only believes in what he can see and touch. The two detectives solve cases related to the lost & found center.

Ordinary student Si-on became a police officer because of that day. On her middle school graduation trip, their family car collided with a truck, and her parents were killed on the spot. Due to the sudden accident, the traffic was paralyzed and as she watched her parents lose their consciousness in daze, the first person to take Shi-on’s hand was… a police officer.
Shi-on was very busy running to and fro when she became a police officer. Especially if it were a case when she could help someone weak or wronged, she dashed straight away, going through fire and water. To Shi-on it was a sense of duty, the reason she stayed alive. However, one day she was discovered unconscious. Without even revealing the person responsible for the accident, she submerged into a vegetable state, and after 6 years of lying down like a living dead, she wakes up from the brink of death! But… she lost her memory.
Why she got into the accident, who she was with during the accident, her amazing record at the National Police Agency – Shi-on lost it all. But she started seeing things that are not supposed to be seen. That is – the spirits of the dead people! With no memory and with the eyes that see spirits, she noticed the Lost Property Centre at the National Police Agency. She volunteers to work at the Lost Property Center that no one is interested in, and she starts seeing the stories of the spirits in the items that are lost. And she also meets a hot-tempered and stubborn subordinate who does not offer her a kind glance.

Taecyeon and So Yi Hyun to see ghosts in new tvN drama 'Who Are You?'

2PM's Taecyeon and So Yi Hyun have been cast as leads and love interests in the new tvN drama, 'Who Are You?'!

 

So Yi Hyun's camp confirmed, "So Yi Hyun has been confirmed to star in 'Who Are You?' as Yang Si Ohn, who wakes up from a coma of 6 years following an accident and loses her memory but gains the ability to see ghosts."

 

Unlike So Yi Hyun's intuitive character, Taecyeon will take on the role of Cha Gun Woo who is a realist, believing only the things he can observe with his five senses. The two will both play cops with So Yi Hyun playing Taecyeon's boss.

 

Their characters' conflicting personalities will be the spark for great chemistry between them in this ghost-melodrama premiering after the conclusion of 'Dating Agency: Cyrano' this July!

Ok Taecyeon and So E Hyun have been confirmed as the leads of the upcoming tvN drama Who Are You.

The two have been cast as two detectives who are completely different from each other. Ok Taecyeon will be Geon Woo, a detective who believes only evidence leads to the answer, while So E Hyun will appear as Si On, who can see spirits and ghosts.



Who Are You will be a ′ghost romance′. The two detectives will attempt to help the spirits of the items left behind at a lost-and-found center. In the process, they will come to understand each other.

Producer Lee Min Jin commented, "The romance between this woman who sees spirits and a man who doesn′t believe even human beings will feel very new. It will be a new genre that even incorporates a sort of warmth coming from how the leads try to help spirits."

The role will be Ok Taecyeon′s first in two years since his appearance in KBS2′s Cinderella′s Sister and Dream High.

A rep from So E Hyun′s agency Key East said, "So E Hyun has been burning with passion toward evaluating her piece and preparing for her role, especially as the drama is in the new ′ghost romance′ genre. She′ll show a side of herself never seen before through the ghost-seeing Si On."

Who Are You will start airing in July in Dating Agency; Cyrano′s time slot.

I adore taec since cinderella's sister too and like him even more in Dream High. For So Yi Hyun...just like you...she was great in CDA.
Looking forward to watch this! The plotline sounds interesting too. Lately TVN has produced many great dramas and I hope this drama will continue that streak )

Talk about wonderful kdrama chemistry. The new tvN drama "Who Are You?" will pair 2PM's Ok Taecyeon with actress So E Hyun.

Singer-actor Taecyeon, who recently appeared in the global edition of "We Got Married" and starred in "Dream High"will co-star with So E Hyun, who recently played Seo Yoon Joo, the deceptive wife in "Cheomdamdung Alice."

While they may ask the question, "Who Are You?" of each other, it will primarily be directed at the ghosts they encounter. In yet another kdrama take on the supernatural, "Who Are You" will focus on the newly departed and the clues these ghosts leave behind.

Taecyeon, 24, plays Geon Woo, a detective who only believes evidence he can see, and So E. Hyun, 28, will play Si On, a woman who can see apparitions. Together, the two detectives will help the spirits of those who have departed using the items they have left behind. The character Si On has not always been able to see ghosts. She was in a car accident and spent six years in a coma. As a result, she lost her memory but acquired the ability to see spirits. She wants to honor their requests but since Geon Woo is her boss, she cannot act on such requests unless she convinces him they are real.

Not only will Si On convince Geon Woo that she really can see ghosts but the two will draw closer through the shared experience. If this spooky love story sounds familiar, it's not says producer Lee Min Jin.

"The romance between this woman who sees spirits and a man who doesn't properly value the human spirit will be very different from anything you have seen," said Lee Min Jun. "It's going to be a new genre with plenty of heartwarming moments when the leads try to aid the spirits."

The role will be Ok Taecyeon′s first in two years since his appearance in "Dream High.

Before "Cheomdamdung Alice," So E Hyun appeared in more than a dozen dramas, including "Happy Ending," "Glowing She" and "Heartstrings." She also has a cameo role as a lawyer in the current drama "I Can Hear Your Voice."

According to Key East, So E Hyun's agency, she is passionate about her new role. In their statement, they said, "She is evaluating her part and carefully preparing for the role, especially since it is a new genre, a ghost melodrama."

The drama will be aired in July on tvN after "DatingAgency: Cyrano."

I thought I won't be watching any TVN drama after Dating Cyrano ends. But this drama is so tempting. Especially. it's Taecyeon's drama!! I'm a big fan of 2PM )

2PM's Taecyeon dishes about his role in upcoming drama, 'Who Are You?'

2PM's Taecyeon expressed his excitement for his upcoming role in tvN's newest drama, 'Who Are You?".

 

A creepy romance story about a supernatural figure who can see ghosts and a clear-minded, logical man, the melodrama will also star actress So Yi Hyun.

The director, Cho Hyun Tak, revealed the reasons behind his casting. "I had a lot of trust in Taecyeon as an actor," he said. "I felt that the character of Cha Gun Woo and Taecyeon matched very well. I casted him because I saw a lot of potential in him as an actor."

Taecyeon, meanwhile, promised that he would put everything he had into his role. "I feel just as anxious as I did before my debut," he said. "I'll try my best for my character."

'Who Are You?' will be broadcast in late July on tvN.

Actor Kim Jae-Wook is cast in tvN drama series WHO ARE YOU, which has already cast So E-Hyun and TaecYeon in the leading roles.

In the drama series, Kim Jae-Wook will play former detective Lee Hyung-Joon. and the ex-boyfriend of Shi-On's (So E-Hyun). Shi-On is also a detective and worked with Lee Hyung-Joon . A tragic accident though took the life of Lee Hyun-Jung. Shi-On is later able to see the dead and sees Lee Hyung-Joon again.

WHO ARE YOU first airs this July in South Korea.

Korean actor Kim Jae-uck is making his TV comeback in two years and a half next month.

Kim will join tvN’s new TV series tentatively titled “Who Are You?” which premieres in late July and stars 2PM’s Taecyeon and actress So E Hyun, an official with his agency A-list Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone Tuesday.

Kim will take on a character named Lee Hyung-joon, main female character Si-on’s [so] ex-boyfriend who had died from an accident but turns up again as a ghost to her when she gains the ability to see spirits after waking up from a six-year coma.

The ‘ghost melodrama’ will be Kim’s first TV series since he last starred in “Marry Me, Marry!” in 2010 before enlisting in the military the following July.

Kim, 30, shot to fame after appearing in smash hit drama “Coffee Prince” in 2007 and has earned popularity from Japan and several Asian countries with 2008 film “Antique,” co-starring Ju Ji-hoon and Yu A-in.

He turned a vocalist for his four-member rock band Walrus in January 2011 when they released their first single album of the same name and made stage debut by turning Hedwig in famed musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” right before his military enlistment.

I'm just having the best Monday...GY making a cameo on Dating Agency:Cyrano.

Then I see this thread created (thanks @facing. TvN has being doing a really good job with their dramas. Now hearing that this will be Kim Jae-uck's first post military project has made me anticipate this drama more. I already lines the premise and the leads but this is the cherry on top of a amazing sundae.

After QIHM, Nine, FBND, The Third Ward, Wedding Scheme and Cyrano, Now I think I can watch anything from tvN. It gives satisfaction guarantee. =))
