‘School 2013’ Holds Gosa Ceremony To Ensure Success and Good Health

KBS’ School 2013 has prayed for good fortune and health.
The full cast and crew of the upcoming KBS drama gathered at their drama set in Gyeonggi-do’s Ansung on November 14 where they held a traditional gosaceremony. 








Some 100 individuals in all attended the ceremony including main cast members Choi Daniel, Jang Nara, Lee Jong Seok, Kim Woo Bin and others. 






Jang Nara acted as the representative for the teacher actors as she shared, “I wish this drama will become one in which the staff and the actors will convey their true feelings with each other and with the audiences.”

Lee Jong Seok acted as the representative for the student actors saying, “Though the weather is cold, I hope we can shoot with warm hearts. We will trust and follow our seniors.” 

School 2013 premieres on December 3.

Choi Daniel to Act as Capitalistic Teacher in ′School 2013′

Choi Daniel took the stand to teach as a new type of teacher in KBS2′s upcoming drama School 2013.
The actor will appear as the short-term teacher Kang Se Chan at Seung Ri High School. He previously worked as a popular language instructor, and so believes that if he ′serves′ students as he does at a cram school, schools will change.




His character is expected to bring to light the problems in the schools of today and approach them from a new perspective.

In the recent stills released from the set of School 2013, Choi Daniel is shown as a perfect fit for his role. He looks and feels like a real teacher, as his lively eyes shine behind his glasses while he stands in front of a blackboard full of chalk marks.

Choi Daniel said about Kang Se Chan, "Kang Se Chan is a very charming character. He is a figure who sees schools from a new perspective, not as a teacher in the mold, and so I believe it will be interesting to see what schools are really like through his views. I′m working hard, so you can look forward to it."

School 2013 also stars Jang Nara, Lee Jong Seok, Park Se Young, Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Hyoyoung. It marks the return of the popular School series, which helped Zo In Sung, Jang Hyuk and Kim Min Hee to stardom.

It airs its first episode on December 3.

School 2013 Preview: Lee Jong Seok And His 'Difficult Youth'

Actor Lee Jong-seok will become the icon of the ‘difficult youth’ of the age, in the upcoming drama ‘School 2013′.
The upcoming drama ‘School 2013′ features Lee Jong-seok in the role of Go Nam-soon, a hopeless and dreamless high school student.
The newly-released pictures of the drama shows the actor working as a courier in a motorcycle courier service. Riding on a bike with a red box, he seems indifferent, even weary for an 18-year-old high schooler, raising curiosities about his life outside the main setting of the school.
Go Nam-soon is a dreamless and indifferent youth, who always keeps a glum face and keeps quiet to not get involved in anything. The actor is reportedly set to depict the weary life of Nam-soon with a deep emotional acting to depict his wounds and worries.A representative of the drama has given his opinion on the drama’s theme, “the drama will depict the life of the youths, not limited by the boundaries of the school, in realistic and deep ways. With the plot centered around Nam-soon, a hopeless and dreamless youth in the school just to get the certificate, we plan to depict the difficulties of the lives in the current days of the youths in realistic and deep ways”.
The drama ‘School 2013′ will premiere on December 3rd.
