Why is this drama so quiet? Will it really be aired after King of Dramas? I've heard some rumors that it begins filming Nov 20. But not sure if it's true since there's no more casting news so far.

If this will replace King of Dramas and That Winter, The Wind Blows will air on February, SBS will air two melodramas on 9:55pm slot..

Lee Mi-yeon is about to come back with the SBS drama "Yawang" for the first time in 2 years.

Lee Mi-yeon is looking through the script for the leading role of SBS drama "Yawang". Agreements have been made on both sides but the contract is yet to be signed.

Lee Mi-yeon had a break after the KSB historical drama "Merchant Kim Man Deok" and recently appeared in the recent movie "A Company Man".

"Yawang" is a sequel to the SBS drama "Daemul - Big Thing" about a woman of desire (Soo Ae) and her revenge on the man (kwon Sang-woo) she gave everything to but who betrayed her. Lee Mi-yeon is a plutocrat and the person in between these two.

"Yawang" will start shooting in December.

Wow, casting news continues to stump me. Lee Mi Yeon in a love triangle with Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae, if I'm reading the synopsis right? There's got to be something in the water in Seoul.

TVXQ's Yunho to fall in love with an older woman

Yunho has signed onto SBS’s new drama Queen of Ambition, scheduled to air in January next year.

TVXQ’s Yunho will play the role of Baek Do-hoon who is a graduating college student and is in love with an older women. The honest but macho character will also be the son of a rich company and an ice-hockey college athlete.

The older women, Dahae will be played by actress Soo-Ae (Athena: Goddess Of War, A Thousand Day’s Promise) who will play a destined love story with Yunho.

An official for the drama said that Yunho’s sharp facial lines, “thick eyebrows” and soft smile seemed to be best in sync with the character.

“Jung Yunho was the number one choice for us as the character is charismatic and soft at the same time.” The representative said.

Queen of Ambitions will air in January 2013 on Monday and Tuesday’s.

Child Actress Park Min Ha Takes Picture With DBSK’s Yunho

Child actress Park Min Ha recently was in the spotlight for being in a relationship with “Baby Nichkhun” Mason Moon because he confessed on air. She later had a chance to talk about their special relationship.


On December 6, Park Min Ha shared a picture she took with Yunho from DBSK on her twitter (author’s note: she has her own twitter? that’s a very hip 6 year old) and included a message, “Ack. Took a picture with Yunho oppa after the script reading. Thank you for noticing me first and greeting me. Let’s meet again soon.”

Inside the picture, Yunho kneels down to take a better picture with the young starlet. He gives off a gentle and cool oppa aura with his soft gaze and leather jacket. Park Min Ha shyly poses for the camera and her right finger uses Yunho’s arm for balance.

Netizens who saw the picture commented, “Looks like Park Min Ha got casted in ‘Night King,’” “I’m jealous that she was able to take a picture with Yunho,” “She matches well as Soo Ae’s younger version,” “Seems like Park Min Ha is ‘it’ these days,” “She’s really cute,” “Park Min Ha must be really happy.”

Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae Show Off Teamwork at ′Yawang′s′ Script Reading


The first script reading session for SBS′ Yawang went well, thanks to Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae′s teamwork.

Photos from the script reading were recently released by the producers of the drama. The session was held on December 6, with Kwon Sang Woo, Soo Ae, Jung Yunho (U-Know Yunho), Kim Sung Ryeong, Lee Duk Hwa, Cha Hwa Yeon, Lee Il Hwa and Go Joon Hee in attendance.




According to the staff on December 7, the script reading this day burned bright with the actors′ passion.

Kwon Sang Woo set his tone of voice to fit the pure character of Ha Ryu, and at times drew laughs with comical adlibs in a different tone.

Soo Ae showed off her characteristic emotions. As the main female lead Da Hae, she acted out her lines calmly and at times adjusted her voice to show the detailed emotions running through the scene.



Jung Yunho, cast as Baek Do Hoon, fit his role perfectly as the brother of Baek Do Kyung, played by Kim Sung Ryeong. The two acted as if they were really talking as brother and sister. In her rich girl role, seeming to continue from a similar role she took up in SBS′ The Chaser, Kim Sung Ryeong emanated with femme fatale charms and charisma.

Producer Jo Young Kwang said, "I′m happy to see the ensemble of a great script and a fitting cast. Everyone will work hard thinking they′re playing the main roles, and put together a great piece."

Actress Kim Seong-ryeong has been added to "Yawang".

Sources say she has been confirmed a role in the upcoming SBS drama "Yawang". She is going to take on a role of a 2nd generation plutocrat and one that is going to cast an important influence on Soo-aeand kwon Sang-woo's lives.

Kim Seong-ryeong performed the role of Seo ji-soo, an elegant and proud opera singer and plutocrat in the SBS "THE CHASER - Drama", outstandingly well. She has become a 'plutocrat' actress with her second rich role in "Yawang".

"Yawang" is a sequel to SBS drama "Daemul - Big Thing". Da-hae (Soo-ae) dreams of getting away from poverty and becoming the First Lady and Ha-ryu (kwon Sang-woo) sacrifices everything for her but becomes betrayed.

"Yawang" will go into production once script reading is over on the 6th.
