@tessieroo,  I can see why  JW wanted Yeo Ok to apologize to Dami's family because YO literally trashed their family's name and  honor.but like you said the gesture no matter how many times she kneels  would  still be insincere.I  like you  wonder why is JW keeping the secret of JH's birth  still? To me it would be better for Yeo Ok  to ask for her son's forgiveness as well.My problem with Yeo Ok was she was so relentless in destroying other people's lives, if it suited her agenda or it would get her out of trouble.(Dami's family) her MIL(even though MIL was  mean she did have intermediate Alzheimer's and deserved some compassion))and she tortured poor  JH to the ground. Every time IH could not win over JH she lied, bribed ,stole or setup JH .(or someone else) so her son could prevail. I mean the woman was like a runaway train mowing everything in her path  ALL in the name of I love my son, he is the only thing that matters Get a grip lady we are all someone's son or daughter. GEEZ !!!  thanks  tessieroo  you are my girl:D

I meant actual kissing rehearsal. Ji Hoon was just trying to put her face and see how it fits with the scene for episode 14. I want to see the BTS if there is any for episode 25 as well. But anyway, just look at how many people are looking at you kissing if you're an actor. Haha. Anyway, I watched the BTS between JH & SY and I'm rather shocked because I can't believe I was just only now aware that they had always been close. They're so funny. I like their interactions offscreen. There was also a scene he was holding her hand or something. I'm not sure if they're for fun, but she's the type that smiles often and he jokes a lot around her, no? That makes two funny and happy people haha. I watched some of their BTS and couldn't help, but laughed along with them.

Oh yeah, I wish they hug a little bit longer and they looked at each other a bit longer for episode 25. I actually like huggies more than kisses.

 

For those of you who are for YR in jail and/or serve jail time: I am in agreement with you, but I hope she'll have a happy ending with both of her sons. :D Hope both of them will love her even when she's in jail after her repentance.

yeah its hard for being an actresses/actors, even for the intimate skinship they have to share it with crews and viewers, thats why maybe i'm not become one qeqeqe and i do fascinating abt SY and Jihoon offscreen interaction, they happy to go lol'd and relax together,, sometimes i wonder why they do so, then i made my own conclusion, maybe its because they feel less burden to interacts toward each other, with no one ship them in real life, because admittedly i ship SY more with JW and i'm also an ultimate Hyeonni (JJH and YEH shipper) qeqeqeqee so they can be happy without needed to keep the distance between them because worries abt public opinions :D

The thing with YR is its true that initial reason for her all wrongdoing was because MS and her mother-in-law treat her so bad in the first place, and maybe she has a right to demand what she thought is her and her son right,, but then the main problem here is she doesnt stop there, she keep continue to do everything to hurt Jiho and even Dami's family and she wont stop until she get what she demands.. so as much as i understand her motive for doing so, she cannot pass the punishments, they have to punish her, through the law or  anything, because if its not, then they better not put a law enforcement again in this kind of dramas because its just useless...

ehmm they do rehearsed for the kiss scenes :P do you watched their 2nd kiss scenes BTS ?? you can see the bts in JSY thread in page 17.. in that BTS we can seen SY and Jihoon practiced their kiss with so many crew watched it before the actually scene been shot lol, so i really hope they would release this 3rd kiss BTS qeqeqeqeqee...

Is there anyway that I can press awesome and lol at once because I honestly like what you wrote about YR here. But since there is no such function, please know I like this post. :D

Anyway, about SY & JH, I like them onscreen together. Even though like you said I like JW & JSY together more and YEH & JJH more together, too.But that does not mean I can't also like JH & SY together offscreen or onscreen. I think he's a very good sunbae and good mentor to her.

JW & SY's holding hands were awesome, too, no? I like JH & SY sitting together. If you noticed...most of the scenes of them were sitting....sitting reading comics together, sitting and playing the piano together, sitting by the lake (or something), sitting at the park, sitting at the hospital (lol that scene was hilarious since he had his arm broken and my mentality was like...errr..he needs to be taken care of, but she told him the food she brought for him was from her mom)...sitting to eat noodles like episode 9 & 25 (scene they ate noodles again after they got back together), sitting at the bar...I can't list them all, but they're just sitting scenes. I like their looks looking at each other. I think they don't really have that many hugs together. So there is something distinctive about Ji Hoon and Joo Won for you. Haha. I like Joo Won's touch on Se Yeon.

I am getting carried away but if those were the only things she'd done? (lie, bribe, steal or setup) then I would agree her character could be redeemed by just falling to her knees and crying. But she's committed murder. When she shoved MS back and he hit his head, that was an accident. BUT (as @baduy reminded me) she then cut the phone wires in the room (so if he woke up, he couldn't call for help) and closed the door, shoving a bookcase in front of that door so he couldn't get out! MURDER. She also paid someone to pull WJ's respirator out - ATTEMPTED MURDER. 

I do think MS was just as much of a monster as she is though. But no matter how badly she was treated (unless she was being beaten & physically abused within an inch of her life) how can they redeem her character unless she's in jail? I don't think she was a "battered woman" at all. *sigh* I'm ranting again. (LOL) 

I don't understand JW's motives for continuing to keep the birth secret either - makes zero sense. But according to @baduy's spoilers, YR now knows (Secretary Oh told her) It's only a matter of time before JH finds out. I wanna hug him so bad. :(

@sunshine4ever - OMG, that kiss was hot. But then every kiss I've ever seen from JJH is hot. :\">

@sophiechoice - Yes, that's it exactly. If they want YR to have redemption - let it be after she's been arrested and put in jail. JH can come visit her in jail and they can do a heartbreaking scene then. (I just got chills even thinking about how sad that scene would be) :((

oh yeah, SY-JH on/offscreen is one of the best sunbaes-hoobaes costars i've seen in every kdrama i watched  ;) thanks to them (and beautifully written love story, indeed) Jiho-Dami appear to be one of the most Sane couples in currently kdramas airing  :D

and now, because we only have 5 episodes left before finale, i demand THE BROMANCE for Jiho and Inha, pleaseeeeeeee,, because really, what is the point to bring Two Gorgeous Boys onscreen together without some brotherly love, enough with angsty and rage between these two, i want BROMANCE okay writer.NOW.

@sophiechoice, I think this drama is more for mother and son than bromance or romance. :D Haha. But we managed to incorporate it well since we had been talking about JH & Mom. I didn't get a chance to watch much so I can't comment on Inha and his transformation with his mom. I think YR will have a happy ending in jail. Hopefully she will get released early so she can be with JH & IH.  (That is once they sorted out things --- well I hope she will go in jail because what she did was clearly a crime.)

i just rerun previous episodes, only JH/DM scenes, and yeah turn out they have so MANY sitting scenes together qeqeqee i'm not paying attention enough before you mention it, and geez, sitting scenes never look so good before :D

Before anyone gets too sympathetic to YR, bear in mind the way she seems to always relish chances to pile on the agony for JH and exploits them to the full. There is something of her ex husband's sadism in her. For example in the second sequence of ep 25.

YR has just been pulled back from the brink of the precipice thanks to the the false testimony JW has engineered. But she isn't in the slightest bit cowed (that's partly of course because she thinks what's just happened shows that JW is on her side with all his power because, as she thinks, he's still besotted with her. She doesn't realize the real reason JW has just saved her bacon.) She goes up to JH in the courthouse parking lot (he's trying to call JW to demand an explanation of what he did, but he's not getting an answer) and has a good old gloat. She's always been big on gloating.

YR: Well, that attempt to send me to jail failed big time, didn't it?
JH: You're still cocksure of yourself, I see.
YR: You still don't know how the world works, do you? They say a dog that barks too much can never make a good hunter. Do you really think if you shout out you're going to kill me, I'll just stand there and let you? How could you beat me that way? That sort of hunter is more likely to get shot first.
JH : Until I've righted the wrongs you've done, you've no chance of killing me off. I'm like my father. I always stand my ground.
YR: You say you want to repay hatred with more hatred, and you expect me to turn a blind eye? Instead of wasting your time on that, go find a different life of your own. Do you want your youth to go to waste?
JH: If I spent my whole life getting you punished, it would be worth every second. I'll never ever give up. You'd better be prepared for that.

This is what I hate most about YR, she never show any repentance. Even she has lowered herself and apologized to DM's family, she didn't deserve any forgiveness. She should be begging for forgiveness from JH, her own son. She has always gloating like that especially with JH only, I don't really get it...that was what I said before, I don't care how she will cope when knowing JH is really her son, and she has been treating him less than human, in defending the other son. She is just reaping what she has been sowing. I think the only punishment that she deserves to get is for JH never to forgive her and for IH to disown her and to go to jail for attempting manslaughter DM's brother. 

Poor JH, he will be having a hard time later on, when he knows the truth which he would rather not knowing.

Incidentally, I've now worked out what the problem is with the spoiler tag. Probably In an attempt to fix that bug where people who tried to quote a post that contained another quote found that they couldn't actually type their own material in the right place,  they've broken part of the way the spoiler tag works.

Basically, you now can't put anything that contains a paragraph break inside a spoiler tag. If you do, the software ends the spoiler section at the paragraph break and leaves the following paragraph in the clear. So if you want to create a new paragraph line within a spoiler, or even just input a spot translation with each speech on a new line, you have to use a forced line break (Shift+enter or return, NOT enter or return alone). This is VERY SILLY AND ANNOYING. But then so are many other things about this interface. But it cost me several hours of frustration yesterday, till I figured out how to get my spoilers to stay spoiled. It seems the developers are determined not to give us back the old, perfectly good method back, where you highlighted any range of text you liked and just clicked the "spoiler" button on the toolbar.

The other problems I was having won't effect anyone who isn't using the latest FF release with its (optional) clickjacking features enabled (they are off by default). Now i've turned those features off, I can open other people's spoilers and edit my own posts again.

Clickjacking protection is becoming increasingly important as more and more rogue pages (including those injected into perfectly respectable sites via third-party inserted ads, such as those found here on Soompi as well as on many other sites) opt for this method of making you click on things you don't know you're clicking on. The technique works by layering two links on top of each other. The real, nasty link is on the bottom layer, underneath an innocent-looking link in an opaque area which hides what's underneath. But a click on that visible link is ignored and instead is passed on to the hidden link.

But unfortunately, web designers whose ambitions to create "cool" pages exceed their knowledge and skills often create clunky pages that accidentally cause two layers to slightly overlap, even when they aren't meant to. In such cases clickjacking protectors are triggered, and prevent the links from being followed. That was what was happening to me with the updated soompi interface until I turned clickjacking protection off.

I think the reason why JW is holding back

on the birth secret is to minimize the eventual shock to JH.

He wants JH to be the very last to find out so that he can do his utmost to make the discovery less horrendous for his son. That's why JW is so keen to get YR to seek and receive DaMi's family's forgiveness, so that JH won't have to cope with ongoing hatred between his true mother and the family of the girl he loves. [ I strongly suspect, BTW, that JW has had a hand in encouraging DM to take the initative to approach JH as she does. It's rather striking that on the morning after her evening meeting with JH, she mentions to her mother that JW told her they'll be getting a visitor (who turns out to be YR, coming to beg forgiveness) showing that she must have spoken to JW the day before.]

The scheme appears to be
(1) Get YR off the  attempted murder charge and land Atty Choi in the doodoo instead. WORKED.
(2) Get YR to repent and reconcile with DM's family [DIDN'T WORK... YET]
(3) Encourage DM to get back with and support JH [WORKED].
(4) Enlist stepmom's aid to get her to break the truth as gently a possible to YR and make her face the implications. [DIDN'T WORK -- indeed FAILED BADLY, because YR came in and overheard stepmom talking to JW on the phone (at around 00:29.20 in ep 25) saying

"It's alright you telling me I should talk to her, but I'm determined to keep my mouth shut. She's still in the dark, so how can I come along and say "Your kid's been found"? It's better to let her spend her life never knowing". 

But once YR has heard those words, JW's scheme goes off the rails, and he never gets a change of moving on to [5] which would have been presumably to reveal the truth to JH of his blood relationship with a newly repentant and humbled YR.

yep, thats i've been said in my previous post, that YR has always look for a way to escape even when she's been pushed to cornered and never showed a slightest of regrets... in her tiny world, there's only YR and IH and evil plan, so thats why writer need to choose these three option as a punishments i could think of, whether she's go to jail with her two boys abandon her and then redeem herself, she died, or she's go crazy and entered the mental hospital..  yeah seems cruel option, but dont worry look like we'll have the first option :D

ehmm and a half of me didnt want to have Jiho to know the truth,because its just to tragic for him, just thinking abt it make me want to bawls again T_T i want him to be in peace and back to when he is a warm and nice Jiho like before hiks hiks poor boy......

JH was such a sweet kid and obviously loved her very much. Such a shame she threw that away. :(

I have a feeling In Ha is going to use the information he overheard to get everything taken from JH legally (since MS isn't his biological father) but he doesn't have a clue about YR. 

And here comes the slap! (only I wish it was JH doing it) Did JW slap her because she's not following his grand plan? (LOL)

No, he slapped her because she said she didn't care that JH was their son. She'd always hated him and she always will. So she wants JW to forget all about him so the two of them can go back to the way they once were.

But, having ripped up the DNA report, she's then horrified to hear IH saying he's going to commission a DNA test to determine whether MS is JH's father, and indeed his idea is that will provide evidence that JH has no right to the inheritance.

No. She said JH had built up his whole life around being MS's son. Finding out that he's not would destroy him. That causes JW to hold back from telling him the truth before the concert, but stepmom decides to do just that (after being disgusted that YR hadn't showed up at IH's recital, not knowing that the reason was that she'd rushed over to intercept JW and stop him telling JH the truth] .
